CHEATING
Well, the lady killer part should have clued me in. What a manwhore!
They knew each other since they were kids, he (the main character vampire) was fucking and feeding off every woman and female monster except for the last year. The little fairy who always loved him since they were in school, had to watch him with a beautiful woman on his arm going home to him.
She saved his life and he fed off her for at the beginning of the incident 20 years ago. I don't believe the 'I dont want to ruin my friendship with you', or that he has feelings for her and wanted her and always had, because of that were true he wouldn't go on a 20 plus year long fucking spree! It is only when she could take so much and started dating this guy that he started to meddle. What a fucking hypocrite! Check this out he says this to her,
"I don’t want to feed. I want more. I can survive very nicely with deer
and rabbits. Having affairs is tiresome, Lily. Those women want the
pleasure of my vampire bite and what it does to them during sex.
None of them want me. Is it so wrong to want more?” He brushes his
knuckles over my cheek and throat before pulling back"
Aww poor baby is so tired of getting his dick wet, he wants the other women to want him! How romantic...*barf*
After telling Lily (the fairy), that he always wanted her, he leaves to go to a bar to find a lover, so the bartender flirts with him and he considers it, looking at her hips and saying that they could have a good night together, basically he can feed, they can fuck, but he changed his mind. Dude, yo went out to find another woman to fuck after you told Lilly you always wanted her;.....CLEARLY YOU DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT LILLY....where is the romance? NOWHERE!!
Then, when he says he wants to sleep with Lily, he tells her that 12 years ago he fell in love with a woman he fed from and his feelings or her grew. He would even go hunt, feed and then go see this woman but she didn't feel the same. I don't know what is worse? That he fucks every woman in this town as once or twice, or that he fell in love and not with our FMC, but with another woman?
After the MCs had sex, I was relieved that she wasn't a virgin, my heart would break for her if she was, when she called it a mistake and they never should have had sex, it hurt him....GOOD!
They avoided each other for a month, and then they fucked again and he bit her where he never bit anyone before, he alwyas would bite the neck and the inner thigh with other women he would fuck because it is more intimate...ok Iam done..DONE!
Jesus this piece of steaming shit is too much.....I am done....never again with this "author "I am avoiding her like I would avoid all the STDs I can imagine the MMC having.

I'm not 100% sold on the idea that Lorenzo was in 'love' with Lily for the last two decades of their lives, if not longer before they were turned into monsters. I almost wish the author would've jus kept them as friends and had them end up with someone else, or not even bring up long unrequited feelings between the two of them because, for me, it's unbelievable on Lorenzo's part.
It isn't until Lily gets a boyfriend that Lorenzo he becomes a hypocrite. He all of a sudden can't imagine Lily with another man and isn't happy with the idea of her with someone that's not him. After 20 years he's finally ready to admit his feelings for Lily.
I think what annoys me even more about "hero" is because he even admits he was in love with another woman before. But he realized she was in love with the vampire bite and not him. Then he also admits to being able to survive on deer, rabbits, and heck he has a blood bank supplying him with his blood but yet for the last 20 years he was sooooo in love with Lily but still going out at night and picking up women to sleep with and drink from.

Yeah this one was a no for me, couldn't stand Lorenzo and wished Lily would have ended up with someone else (she deserved someone better, a lot better than him)!

I didn't dislike this one, but there was a lot of back and forthing between Lorenzo and Lily even after they'd basically laid all their respective cards on the table. I kind of just wanted them to trust that the other one actually listened to them declaring themselves and not fret about it as much as they did.
On the other hand, that might have made the book too short. So I guess L&L needed to have their sad moments where they thought their love was unrequited. Plus, Lorenzo needed to get all growly over Lily's kind-of date. Or, they guy she was sort of seeing. Or however you want to put it. Regardless, Lorenzo didn't care for Lad and he thought Lily could do way better than that guy.
Spoiler: He was right. Because the right guy was him.
Throw in a little danger, a couple of growly moments for Lorenzo, the town having Lily's back, and a lot of longing looks. Good stuff.

Monsters can fall in love and in Screaming Woods, that does and will happen. This little town became a town full of awesome monsters by a party potion gone wrong, and you will probably fall in love with this charming town just like I did once you read this book.
This book is Lily and Lorenzo's story. Lily is a cute little fairy, so with her glow and wings, people rarely take her seriously. When they look at her, they think Tinker Bell, but she is so much more than that. She's smart, and she's opening a library in town. She's dating some guy from town, but he's not Lorenzo. Lorenzo has been her best friend forever, and that makes him off limits. Did I mention he's hot, and I mean hot. If only Lily's poor, neglected heart would agree with her head. Na, that's not going to happen because she's also in love with him, and the heart speaks loud and clear, overruling what her head thinks it knows. Oh, and guess what? Lorenzo may own an upscale Italian restaurant, but he doesn't really eat there because he's a vampire. Vampires need blood, not pasta and garlic bread. Lorenzo may crave the hunt, but he's not a killer. He's more of a lover. The only thing is he can't have is the one thing or should I say the one woman he craves. She seems to be immune to his allure, and that is his best and oldest friend, Lily. You see, Lily helped him through his transition to vampirism despite becoming a monster herself. If you can call a fairy a monster that is. Lily is everything he has ever wanted, and now he's got to watch her date some other guy. A guy he doesn't even like. Will they overcome the odds and get together, or will they miss their chance at love?
Andie Fenichel is absolutely fantastic. I had no clue this author could write like this. I devoured this story like a raving lunatic. I couldn't get enough of it. One might call Lily and Lorenzo monsters, but I think they were almost as human as us. Lorenzo does have a beating heart even though it's very slow, and it seems he has a lot of emotions as well. Lily might be fairy, but her scream can take your ear drums out. I can't say enough good things about this book it was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend it to readers everywhere. Well done, Ms. Fenichel, this book was amazing, and I enjoyed every word of it.

This is an OK paranormal romance, but I did have a few issues with it. It gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded down to 3 stars.
First, it was too short to have as much character development as I like. I would have liked a little more backstory on both Lorenzo and Lily.
This story is my favorite of the series so far, because it did seem like the couple was truly in love. They had been friends for many years, but were both afraid to risk losing their friendship -- so they never shared that they loved each other. When they finally did get together romantically, it was obvious that they were in love, not just in lust.
There was sex in this story, but it wasn't quite as dirty and explicit as in the first two books. I found that more enjoyable to read.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

This one actually wasn't too bad other than getting frustrated at the MC's at times.
The story follows Lily the fairy and Lorenzo the vampire. They were both featured as side characters in the previous "season" of the series.
Lily and Lorenzo had been best friends their entire lives, even before the messed up brew changed them into monsters and change their lives forever.
While Lily has always loved him, Lorenzo spent years after the change hunting down women and basically using them to feed as he was newly turned and didn't understand his thirst or instincts.
The most frustrating part for me was watching Lorenzo explain his feelings and that he had only ever tried to preserve their friendship after he came out of the first few years of being a vampire and figuring out his urges and hunger, and then by that point she was such a pivotal point in his life that he was terrified to tell her how he felt in fear of ruining their friendship. He is clear with his words and she throws everything back at him, thinking he just wants to use her for blood or sex, and then when he confesses even more that she's what he wants, she just runs away the morning after and doesn't see him for a month.
It was childish to me, and really turned me off of the character, especially when it happened more than once.
I also felt that the "conflict" part of the plot was unnecessary and didn't add to the story, instead taking away from the relationship in a way.
Either way, it was actually better than most of the others I've read from these authors, which is saying a hell of a lot.

This was a really great short story. I'm usually not a fan of stories around 100 pages but this one was great. It is my favorite friends to lovers with some romantic suspense thrown in at the end.

Lily became a fairy and Lorenzo became a vampire. Individually they both would like to see their relationship become more than friends but each is afraid to lose the friendship. When Lily decides to date a human Lad Binder Lorenzo finds himself jealous and not liking or trusting Binder. His instincts say he's not the good guy he seems to be. Things happen and Lorenzo and Lily spend a really delicious night together but Lily runs away fearing the loss of their friendship. As the story progresses, things come out about Lad that solidify Lily and Lorenzo's relationship. I really enjoyed the close friendships within the community and how they are there for each other.

Lorenzo is a cheating manwhore who can't keep it in his pants and lilly is a sad doormat. 0/10 would NOT recommend.
SUMMARY: Lilly the fairy has been in love with Lorenzo for a while, they're basically best friends but he doesn't want to date her and "ruin their friendship". She helps him through his shift and watches as he spends the next 20ish years getting his dick wet and parading an endless stream of lovers by Lilly.
When she FINALLY wakes up and starts to try to see someone else romantically this asshat intervenes and meddles because "oh no, she's giving some other guy attention, we can't have that".
There's really no romance. We're supposed to believe that Lorenzo LOVES Lilly but all he's done is treat her like a doormat side option and hurt her constantly. Plus when he meddles in her relationship, it's not because he wants her for her, it's because HE feels like the women he's been sleeping with don't care enough about him and more for what his vampire bite does from them during sex. Barf. Throw the whole vampire man out.
Lilly's no better. The girl has NO SPINE and lets this man walk all over her. She's boring and sweet and simpering and always comes back to him no matter how many times he disrespected and hurt her. It was honestly sad to read. DNF

this one should have been adorable! But sadly, hated the MMC- he was a total slut and I didn't believe for a moment he's been pining for the FMC for 20 years- you don't sleep with everything that moves if you love someone. so that really ruined the story for me. Oh and toss in the bit of him thinking he was in love with this Diana woman (that came out of left field) and again- complete mood killer
Also for such a short story it dragged hard in spots.
Gotta say I felt horrible for the FMC the entire book- her best friend sleeps with everyone (but her!) the guy she's dating really doesn't want her.. She should have moved and found a real man not the slut vampire so-called best friend.

Lorenzo and Lily refer to themselves as monsters, but they are also people. Lily is a cute little fairy with a spine of steel. Lorenzo doesn't seem to see her as anything but a friend, so she has started looking elsewhere. She is dating a human and Lorenzo doesn't like it. Is it because he is interested in her or because he knows something about her date? Lorenzo needs to let Lily live her life, but he just can't let go. She deserves better. When danger finds her, Lorenzo will step up and take care of her. No matter what.

How ironic that Lily was feeling the same thing only she’d known it for years. This was a sweet love story that seemed a long time coming as each partner grew and accepted their sudden monsterness. Lily was crazy about Lorenzo and certainly deserved her HEA. I just wonder what else Doris is up to…

A Fairy to Steal Away Sadness
A sweet lighthearted love story is a delightful way to escape troubles in this world today. Lorenzo is as sexy as one could imagine a vampire to be. Lily is just as sweet and lighthearted as I could only imagine her to be. There was just the right amount of angst coming from the evil aunt and her son thinking to kidnap Lily to sell to nefarious scientists. This is a fun story.

This was a well-written, entertaining book. It was fun, steamy and kept me reading to find out what was going to happen. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is book 2 in the Monster Between the Sheets series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other books by this author.

I absolutely love the newest book in the Monster's between the Sheets 2.0 series. Heading back to Screaming Woods is always so much fun. This story gives us Vampire Lorenzo and his fairy waitress Lily's story. These two have the greatest story, and I love their perfect ending. I'm so happy y'all did a 2.0 to this incredible series.

Awesome story
I fell in love with Lily and Lorenzo when they were first introduced in book one: Dragon of my dreams. These characters come fully into life in this book. They spend so much time hiding how they each feel about each until they admit to falling completely in love with each other!!

Timing ~
I enjoyed reading this story. They were best friends before the change and nothing changed after that night and the funky punch. But that was also the problem, nothing changed. It took a guy showing up and showing interest in her, for him to realize he could lose her to him, and in more ways than either one realized. But it all worked out. Loved their epilogue.

Wow the angst was crazy, scary crazy!!! Lily was really trusting and tried to find love with a human. She didn’t know she was in danger. Lorenzo loved Lily so much that he was blinded and only wanted her happy. Love their love story, I just wished they would of had kids.

I loved Screaming Woods and I'm so glad to revisit it! Lily and Lorenzo were so sweet... These two have been best friends for years and have hidden their feelings for almost as long. When Lily decides to start dating, Lorenzo can't handle it. I loved these two!

great story
This was such a great story in this series. Lorenzo was so wonderfully broody and Lily was adorable. Their story was great and I really enjoyed the drama that was written into this one. Very entertaining.

Lorenzo and Lily’s story is very sweet. Years of miscommunication (and just plain not communicating) have kept them from being together. Their love is strong and wins in the end. Very sweet and steamy when they figure it out.
