Laken is a woman in turmoil. Just a few weeks ago, she met with a divorce attorney behind her husband's back. But something has since changed in Paul. He's more attentive than before and definitely more present, trading evenings at the office for nights spent ravishing his wife.
But can a few mind-blowing encounters really mend a marriage? Paul seems determined and, well, Laken's not an idiot. When a man as delicious as hers wants to play , you certainly don't say no.
The Five Senses is a series of five short erotic romances. Each novelette will showcase a sexy encounter between Paul and Laken, two consenting–married–adults. Within this series of short stories, you will find food play, voyeurism, pleasure with pain, and probably a little kink.
Not intended for readers under eighteen years of age.
if u are as scared of UTIs as i am, im sure food play like it's done in here will not be your cup of tea but overall this is fun and hot, excited for the rest!
“Taste” by Minx Noir is a book about repairing a broken marriage. When Paul is told his wife is filing for divorce, he is determined to make her fall in love with him again. Laken is lonely now her children are out of the house, and she just dreams of the life and love she once had. Paul’s plan to woe his wife is to use all five senses to reignite the sparks of their love.
The book has second chance tropes, marriage, erotica, etc. The book was good, just a little repetitive sometimes. I did like both Laken and Paul’s characters; they are both compassionate and adventurous people. I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars.
This book hit all the right notes with me. Short, sweet and decadently erotic. It centers around a couple hitting that point in their marriage. The one where you lose track of each other and drift apart. When Laken's husband finds out she consulted a divorce attorney, he pulls out all the stops to win her back. He starts by stopping at the grocery story and lets just say I will never look at a banana the same...
I am enjoying these quick little reads. They are spicy but also just extremely loving too. These are two adults who thought their marriage was over but are willing to put in the effort to reconnect and come back to each other. Of course sex is not the only thing that matters but at the same time, it definitely does matter. This book was about taste and I’m looking forward to the next sense we get to experience, sight.

This one was so good. Continuing to win his wife back, he wooed her in a way that involved food and the taste of her! I loved this one just as much as the first one! This connects in a way, making you realize that the fun and love in a marriage can be brought back.
These are simply AMAZING little novellas. This took me an hour to devour and I am ITCHING for the next one which according to Amazon comes out the 20th! I'll be counting down the days. It is already pre-ordered!
Paul continues to bring the heat in his bid to regain Laken's love. Even as she revels in his attention, the guilt still sits on her chest. How could she ever thought to leave him? The editing could have been better.
This was a stuff your kindle day find and to be completely honest, was underwhelming to me. Maybe if I read the first book, that would have pulled me in more, but it was hard to get attached to the characters…
It was solidly spicy, but again, didn’t quite grab my attention.
The story continues between Laken and Paul. Good overall, quick read. 3/5 for spice, 3/5 overall. I liked the first sense better thus far but I’m interested in reading the rest of the series.
I absolutely love this series!! So much spice and the emotions are on point! I simply cannot get my fill. There aren’t words for how perfect this is! Just go read it!
This is the second book in a series that is about Laken and Paul — a couple on the brink of divorce and they find their way back to their happily ever after.
I owned this book for years before reading it today. Now I’m in love and have to find the rest of the series. What a wonderful surprise this story was!
