Alana led a simple normal life other than worrying about her weight. Her family comes from old money and her father is running for office. While at work, she receives an envelope with old pictures of herself naked. Alana wants to handle the blackmailer alone so not to ruin her father's chances. The only person who has possession of those pictures was Rafe, and he is suppose to be in Jail where her father, with the help of herself put him there 10 years ago.
The beginning started out to my liking with the buildup of who is the blackmailer. The book kept my attention throughout as Rafe is release from prison and his next move is to blackmail Alana, wanting her to be submissive to him. Rafe would use the pictures to his advantage in order to have Alana do what he wants.
The book has some Dominate /submissive moments. Some readers might not find this Dom/Sub appeal in this book because Rafe's goal at first was to humiliate Alana for the past while still being attracted to her. The ending for me was ok; I felt that they waited so long for their moment together that it should have been longer. It is not bad nor is it wow.
