Great, usable tips to improve the abilities of Business Teams!
Eric McDermott takes commonsense business practices to a higher level. Each Amplifier has a simple, yet profound, core principle packed into a short sentence which is then amplified upon to explain just how a team can go about implementing each Amplifier/Method. This use of catch-phrases creates rallying points that can be, almost intuitively, expounded upon.
What I really like is that it stresses the need to have a coherent team to really benefit from these 8 Amplifiers. The team needs to be open to mindset shifts. Micro-management must be overcome. Failure is not the end!
With concepts like “What by When”, teams can get to the meat of the matter right from the start.
The author covers a lot in this little book. From being proactive about managing external resources, and on to the ability to mix and match these amplifiers to amplify them even more. A good guide!

A simple business book.
Team amplifiers and its contents as well thought out. It is a simple, but yet great way to help any business that might be struggling in areas. And it will also help businesses that want to step it up a notch. I would recommend it to any of those businesses that are looking for that. I gave team amplifiers a 5 for its simplicity and the possibility of stepping businesses up a notch.

Easy to follow and rapid results. Running a small business or large scale business, this book is helpful. Easy to follow step by step ideas and tips to strengthen teamwork across the board. Great for leaders!
I am new to the management world and I thought this book was simple to follow, engaging, and had great advice. I really liked the flow of the book and illustrations. The steps of the what and why etc were great and I will be implementing them. I will be recommending this book to my managing colleagues.
