Wow. I already know I'll be rereading this one. The translation is modern and very easy to understand (I've been an ESV girl for the past decade so that's what I'm comparing it to), AND THE AESTHETICS 😍😍
August 2024 update:
If I could give this another 5 stars, I would. This Study Bible is getting me through hurricanes, stock market crash, and the US presidential election cycle with more peace, love, joy, and hope than I've ever had before. I have bought this Bible as gift for others in my life. The Pray/Observe/Interpret/Apply notes on the bottom of each page are amazing reflection stops and journaling prompts. I feel like this kind of structured study is exactly what I'd been missing before.
April 2025 update:
I am about to begin my next readthrough. I have started using the companion app more, for audiobook version (the app itself is a little buggy but the audiobook quality is really good). I've bought more copies as gifts lol. I'm now looking for a new translation to explore, but I plan to continue to use this one for daily devotionals because it's so easy to understand, and the callouts on every page are so helpful.

As a part of Ann's launch team we read an excerpt from the COURAGE FOR LIFE, Study Bible for women. The book of Esther. It was one of the best I have ever done. Ann reminds us of the 7 steps to courage. Each page has a guide to study and the apply what was learned. There are stories of courageous biblical and other women of faith. All of which are pertinent to today. It makes a great guide for studying alone or as a group. I look forward to digging deeper into God's Word with this CFL bible.

I received an advanced sample of two books of the Courage for Life Study Bible and WOW! I am so impressed by the ease of reading with the NLT translation as well as the small Bible study on each page. It never felt overwhelming and helped me to better understand certain portions of scripture as well. There are wide margins and additional helps in some of the margins to get you really thinking more deeply about what you’re reading and how to apply it and jot down some notes. This would be great for new believers or seasoned Christians. I think this was a unique way of approaching a study Bible and would highly recommend it. I also love that they formatted this study Bible for men and a little differently for women. It would be great for a couple to read through together. I’m very grateful to have received the samples and will be purchasing a full copy of the Bible because I enjoyed it so much.

I absolutely love this Bible!
Filament enabled means the material of a fantastic study Bible, with tons of commentary a availability. This all being available on your photo when you use the app and simply take the photo of the the code on each page.
The prayers and study overview on the bottom of each page is wonderful to dig into scripture and work on application. I can’t wait yo use this in my women’s Bible study group.

As I work through the study, I have no doubt what a wonderful Bible the Courage for Life NLT will be for individual, groups, one to one study of God’s Word. Ann White has a gift of getting right to the depth of scripture while also guiding through it with clarity and Joy. I will definitely be using the Courage for Life Bible NLT for youth teaching- young men and gals.

This Study Bible is fabulous. I was lucky enough to receive 2 booklets one from the Women's and one from the Men's and the extras are super extra. It encourages you to listen to the Courage For Life audio Bible as well as gives insight and applications for your daily studies. I can't praise it enough; you need to check it out for yourself. I will be giving copies for Christmas gifts this year!

As I was studying Esther with the ability to use filament app. Also I have dyslexia and it help me with my reading. I enjoy the study and open prayers. I love layout of book. In beginning of chapter, I love the timeline and listen to word. Space to use for either note taking or prayers.
Can't wait to finish another lesson in this bible.

I enjoyed being introduced to the Courage For Life Study Bible for Women. I loved how Ann helped encourage us during bible study to interpret these stories and lessons from a personal perspective to grasp better understanding of Gods words and intentions for our lives as individuals and as a whole. I am very appreciative of the opportunity to apply these lessons to my daily life.
I think the study Bible has a great visual appeal and feel. Its light weight and easily packable. I enjoy the simplicity of each verse, to better comprehend the setting of these stories and conversations being held in the Bible. This is an awesome go to Study Bible for beginners in Christ or those who could use a simpler break down of the Bible. The prayers included in the Study Bible are one of my favorite parts.
I also will be recommending this Study Bible to any and everyone. What I received from reading and study the Bible is a deeper connection and understanding of my roll for Christ. I have a stronger mindset and found reconciliation within myself. This book is great guidance which encourages on to connect with God on a more personal level.

If you enjoy the New Living Translation, you will love the NLT Courage for Life Study Bible. There is a version for both Women and Men. The study prompts are excellent, informative and engaging. NLT readers can move into this Study Bible comfortably and will not be disappointed.

I had the honor to receive a preview copy of the book of Esther from Ann. It’s an excerpt from her full Bible. It’s fabulous! The study allows for personal observations of the reading along with space to write your thoughts or prayers. Ann and her team did a fabulous job and I’m so excited to study further. To be a courageous Christian is an honor! Nothing to be feared. This Bible encourages just that. To be all God called each of us to be! Five Star Reading!

I was privileged to have received samples of The Courage for Life Study Bible for Men and for Women before buying the entire Bible for Men.
The Courage for Life Study Bible is an excellent resource for those who are hungry for God’s Word, who crave the theoretical aspect of the Word, and who are driven to apply God’s Word to their life. It’s a very interactive and practical Bible!
I certainly recommend this Bible for every person who falls into one or more of the categories I described above. In my daily ministry to others, I consistently encounter those who don’t just want to know about Jesus, but they truly want to know Jesus through His written Word!
Since I am a practical student as well as a practical teacher of the Word, I got a very practical approach to studying God’s Word that will not only help me to grow personally, but to be able to teach others using the same practical approach.
Anyone who wants to grow closer to God through studying His Word with a very interactive, hands-on, and practical approach, should buy this particular Bible!
Hands down, I would rate this Bible a 5+ on a 5-Star scale. While I don’t claim to be a Bible expert in terms of how Bibles are designed, this is the best practical and interactive Bible I’ve used ever on a personal and ministerial level! It won’t be money wasted!
