From working in NYC theater doing wardrobe and dressing a variety of celebrities to working in a medical laboratory in Portland Oregon it's all been part of my journey.
Originally from Missouri, my Midwestern roots have also been an influence but for the past decade-plus five, the Pacific NW has been my home and I love it.
I began my publication journey with fantasy romance in The Ring of Souls and also have found a passion for paranormal romance in Unchained and my Sterling Chains series which combines my love of contemporary romance with my infatuation with all things magical.

Jack Mathers is still with Tatum, head of the New York branch of the DTA and an attorney. He is tired, but it is understandable. Tatum needs to help Malcolm control his powers. When she does something breaks through Tatum and Jack's bond that may prevent Jack from being able to be with Tatum. Something happened to his tattoo. His safety net from Tatum's succubus magic. After getting checked out, Jack finds that he wasn't as protected as he thought he was. What will our favorite couple do if Tatum can no longer feed off of Jack?
Dr. Farwei, Jayne, tries to help Jack after he was hurt and inadvertently changes Jack. Will this change be good or bad? Readers will not believe it until they read it. This book can only be described in one way. Crazy. They have a lot going on and it gets even crazier. I loved it. Jack always has something to get into, and this book is no different. Readers will feel for Tatum and Jack and the possibility that they cannot be together. This series has me hooked. This one ended with an unexpected twist. I definitely have to read the next book in this series to see what is going happen with everybody. I have grown to love all the characters in this series, and I have to know that they are going to be alright.

Gah, I love this couple! Great instalment to their journey. The book pulls you in with some amazing plot, it’s fast paced and full of action.

A perfect continuation of the story from Unchained. I am really enjoying the world and the characters that Vee is creating here. For me, these are becoming must reads. Vee does an amazing job creating a captivating story line that keeps you turning page after page.
This book was an attention getter from the start! You quickly get caught up in the love story and passion between Jack and Tatum, and then get the rug pulled out from under you when that love is tested; leaving you biting your nails as you read to find out if there love can survive. Vee writes in such a way that you feel every emotion right along with them (love, desire, sadness, heartbreak, anticipation, fear), and it is hard to put the book down. I am so invested in the characters, I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.
Bound has fantastic characters as well. If you like a good story, plenty of sections, great characters, and some steam then you'll enjoy this book. I can't wait to read more, especially to follow up on Malcolm's story.

This story is Book 2 in the Sterling Chains series and finds Tatum and Jack living together and in in love. There are more twists, turns and unchecked magic. Malcom remains a strong character in the book and his friendship with Tatum is strengthens with Jack being more secure in his relationship with Tatum.
This author’s ability to tell an engaging story is amazing. So many times you will read a series with the same characters run into the “not as good as the first one” syndrome. This is not the case here. This installment is just a good, if not better, than the first. I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.
If you love hot, steamy, smexy times with magic and mystery, this book and series is for you.

I absolutely loved the first book of Jack and Tatum and I absolutely love the second book!!
I loved seeing how both Tatum and Jack deal with what gets thrown at them throughout the book and seeing their relationship growing stronger because of it!
I also have a soft spot for Malcolm! He goes through a lot in this book and can’t seem to catch a break!🥰
I loved the story line in this book because you don’t know what’s going to happen next! Vee does an amazing job writing the book it makes you not want to put it down because you need to know what’s going to happen!! I definitely recommend this book ❤️🔥🖤

This series is just wow!! I just can't get enough of it. It has me gripped to the edge of my seat, turning page after page wanting to find out more. Once I started I couldn't stop, can somebody say hooked, cause that's me.
It's a wild ride for sure, with twists and turns, ups and downs.
The characters, storyline and plot was written brilliantly. I just love these characters and there worlds the author created.
It's action packed with so much, we continue the story of jack and Tatum and what a story it is so far. It gives me all the feels. This series is going to be an epic read. Can't wait for the next part. Highly recommend.

A very nice continuation of the story from Unchained. We get to see how Tatum & Jack settle into their relationship and we get to spend more time with Malcom (who just makes me think of Henry Cavill). There is a prequal novella, Sterling Secrets that I recommend you read before this. I believe there is also a second prequal that I will be checking out soon because I am guessing it fills in some gaps in the lesser story lines of this book.

Great book 2 of the Sterling Chains series. Jack and Tatum are moving forward in their relationship, learning about each other, and finding their happiness.... hopefully. Malcolm needs Tatum's help, will it be enough? Jack and Tatum have quite the roller coaster ride in this one. I love this couple and all their supporting 'cast' as they interact and evolve.
I couldn't get enough of this one, and the last 2 characters just leave you wanting so much more!

Bound by Vee R. Paxton is a good, and enjoyable steamy paranormal romance read. The story has a great captivating story line that will keep you turning pages until the very last page. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. This is Tatum and Jack's story. You will be quickly caught up in their passion and their love story. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Bound is book 2 of the Sterling Chains Series. Tatum and Jack’s story continues. Just like book 1, this book pulls you in. Tatum and Jack go through so much and it seems like it won’t ever stop. We get to know more about Malcom and see what he goes through. This book is just as action packed as book 1 and super-hot. Im ready for the next book!

Vee does an amazing job creating a captivating story line that keeps you turning page after page. Bound has fantastic characters as well. If you like a good story, plenty of section, great characters, and some steam then you'll enjoy this book. I can't wait to read more especially to follow up on Malcolm's story.

This was a good follow-up book! I enjoyed the continuation of Tatum and Jack’s story. There are sprinkles of Malcolm and his pov in the book as well. This book does have a HEA for now with the establishment of potential new drama in book 3. Just like its predecessor, this book is also steamy!

A thrilling, paranormal romance. Jack and Tatum continue their love story in this steamy, exciting story that had plenty of twists and turns as Malcolm needs their help. A very intriguing series.

The characters are so full of life and likeable. The plot keeps you busy with trying to keep up with the changes and twists of the book. A must read enjoyable story.

This book really captured my attention. I loved getting to follow Tatum and Jack’s continued story. There are so many twists in this book that you aren’t sure the direction things might take with their relationship. All characters continue to grow and give us more of their professional or paranormal backgrounds. . Still very spicy with a D/S relationship. I am happy they found a solution at the end of the book, but can someone kick Audrey before she does something stupid?!
