She remembered him only in a dream-like state of mind. He had been so charismatic, and she had been so young. Not too young to be nave however. She had loved him, and he had loved her. The days they had spent together, lying on a blanket in the soft green grass next to a lazy rolling creek, had yet to be rivaled by other lovers she's had since then.
