super interesting textbook for class! loved how much of this was devoted to describing the different experiments that made up this information. Additionally, the authors made sure to acknowledge that many of these studies were not perfect (specifically addressing the holes in some), encouraged the reader to not take them at face value, and highlighted the importance of recognizing other potential variables impacting any observation.
