My only problem with this book is that it was too short. I want more of Alex and Mia! Hopefully there'll be a Book 3 in this series!

Alex and Mia
What an adventure. The first half of this book started pretty slowly, it built up the background, and then when the action started it didn’t stop.
Alex and Mia were so similar. Both held themselves back and ran from things when they got hard. But they fell hard and fast for each other. When Mia’s sister is kidnapped, she drops everything, including studying for the bar exam, to hire OPS and save her sister. Mia goes undercover as a stripper at the club her sister disappeared from and Alex poses as a client who basically buys Mia’s time.
There were definitely some major twists and turns along the way, but Mia and Alex worked flawlessly together. They had a bit of an enemies to lovers relationship, but they’re forced to work together to find Mia’s sister as well as several other missing girls.
I really enjoyed this book. Having grown up in a small town in the Sierra’s near Reno, I really appreciated the authenticity of the descriptions of the area and the long drive between Reno and Vegas. I thought Alex and Mia made a great couple. They had some hurdles to get over but I loved how patient and understanding Alex was. He really won Mia’s trust, and that was no easy feat.

Stripped (Inside and Out)
Book 2 in the OPS Series brings the wild side and the action! I loved Logan and Cadie, but I had been pumped for Alex’s story and I was not disappointed! There was the slow burn with a slight enemies to lovers feel. Mia is headstrong and feisty, while Alex is the playboy looking to break down her walls. Mia doesn’t trust men and has daddy issues, which is only what eggs Alex on as a challenge. While most of the book lays the groundwork for the undercover job to find Mia’s sister, and other missing girls, we still get to see the budding romance between Mia and Alex. He’s alpha-hole, sexiness and when the spice hits, whew, it’s steamy! One of my favorite parts was Mia saying “What are you doing to me?”, and Alex responds with “I’m winning you over, baby.”! He allowed her time to trust him, break through her walls, and allow him in. The last 20% had me on the edge of my seat with heart pounding action and I didn’t want to put it down! The little twists and reveals were great and I loved the ending. I can’t wait for Greyson and his love interest in Book 3!

WOW! 🔥
I’m sorry but a plot twist! Here I was thinking Alex and Jill.. noo.. Mia came in and stole his attention from the first moment.. (he wasn’t with Jill so don’t worry!) the whole story is brilliant! From the guys doing the silly bet to Alex helping Mia all the way to the trafficking, taking down the Russians, saving Tasha (Mia’s sister) aswell as the others and ultimately giving justice to Mia’s mother and sending her father and uncle down. This had so many plot twists in the best way! It was captivating and thrilling never knowing what direction is was going to go next! Down the to last 10% of the book it was non stop and I loved every minute! The love and passion from our notorious playboy Alex that stems from the hard faced, independent woman Mia.. they bring so much passion and fire and in turn fall harder than imagined and Mia finally gains the family she deserves with the OPS guys and girls.. this was incredible.. now who’s next.. Greyson and Kelly?? 🤔 excited to see where this series goes! Absolutely amazing! 🔥👌🏻

My WHOLE HEART
5/5 stars. I Cannot say enough good things about this read.
I loved Cadie and Logan's story. But THIS, Alex and Mia's story have a while new meaning to what's meant to be.
I loved how much action and plot twists and turns there were. To be honest I had the whole thing mapped out in my head what was going to happen and every time in was WRONG!!!!! It was even better than I could have imagined! I love when I cannot predict the out come of a book, and the ending sealed the perfect story for me and I couldn't be any happier !!!! Ahhh this book was all look fabulous and I cannot so see what you write next
Not only is Skylar an amazing author and has 'll the background to write these amazing military bases books, but she is a 100% great person. And that is everything to me. When an author is involved in communicating to her readers. 10/10 must recommend to everyone of my bookish friends. Thank you for showing me your work! I will be a life long fan!!!!

The second book in this standalone series this one we have Alex McCallister the playboy of the family who hasn’t settled down he meets his match when he runs into Mia.
Orion run by the McCallister family and is made up of former military. Taking on cases to help missing people, trafficking and bodyguards. Mia’s sister goes missing and contacts them to help her find her. Alex is assigned the lead to her case. This book goes by quick with all the suspense and danger in the book and when you think it’s past bam another attack. The characters were enjoyable and I loved that she keeps the found family aspect and we get the other characters that we meet in the previous book. I really enjoyed Alex and Mia and love their hea. I also love that she uses real former marines!

Loved it!
This was definitely more of a slow burn but an action packed one! I LOVE the OPS team and how they feel a duty to protect! I also loved that Mia was a bad a** chick that takes care of herself! Especially in the beginning she doesn’t let the charmer that is Alex get her guard down! At first I wanted Alex to be with Cadies friend from book one but him and Mia had an amazing story and I loved every second of it! Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
