The problem of the mystery of life is solved by the mystery of love. - Sam Keen
I stopped reading early on and started skimming until I hit the profoundly meaningless quote above. I'm one person for whom this is all a lot of lala and woohoo with very little help aimed at me. There was only one statement I could relate to, and that involved people who are "married to their pain." We all know people like that. But then I rolled over Robin Norwood's quote that "adversity is a path to our healing and that suffering has meaning, purpose and dignity." What an insufferable load of horse manure this quote is. Should I send it to all those homeless, bereaved families in the Ukraine and see how much better it makes them feel. "See? Your home blew up and you lost your son, but look how dignified you are now." My neighbour recommended this book as part of my Lenten reading list but it's going to Goodwill.

I first read this book over 25 years ago, and it left such an indelible impression on my soul that I’ve carried it with me ever since. It has moved with me through every chapter of my life, always holding a place of honour on my bookshelf.

Grace Cirocco authentically invites the reader into a journey of self-discovery that is both gentle and empowering. The book is rich with uplifting quotes, touching personal stories, and practical, real-life guidance on how to step into the highest version of ourselves — often before we feel fully ready.

Revisiting it now, I’m struck by how timeless and relevant its message remains. My only regret is that I didn’t reread this book every year over the last 25 years.

Thank you, Grace Cirocco, for writing a book that truly makes a difference. This is one I will continue to return to — and wholeheartedly recommend.

I have enjoyed this book. I heard the author on the radio years ago and recognized her voice. We met when our daughters were taking ballet lessons. I immediatly went out and bought the book. Over the years I have kept her book within easy reach on my book shelf. I even had to get out my glue gun to glue it back together.
The author offers inspiration and guidance for moving our life forward. It is easy to read and relatable.
I highly recommend this book.

Grace. Amazing Grace. Everything this author spoke of is what I believe and how I live; however, I can almost never put it into words for other people. I am always astounded when someone can explain what I “know.” This is one of my favourite spiritual books of all-time. It felt incredibly grounding and inspiring at the same time.

I'm not done this book, but so far I'm enjoying it.
Grace's mixed family life of religious teachings must have been difficult for her. She has come so far though and there is no doubt that the conflicts of her religious life growing up has helped her to understand and connected to her own spirituality.
This is a wonderful inspiring book and I'm only half way through it.

I'm on the chapter called Broken Angel. I've been enjoying the last few chapters of this book. It seems to constantly change and surprise me with the next subject she is going to talk about, which is nice, keeps my interest going. Very informative.
