Margaret 'Molly' Brown's life was the stuff of legends. The heroine of the Titanic disaster was also a business woman, art collector, social and political activist, and philantropist during her full life. As she said of others, she had "a heart as big as a ham."
Molly Brown was heroine of the Titanic disaster, but when asked about the experience, she said, "Please don't say I'm a heroine. I did only the natural thing and not the heroic...It isn't who you are, nor what you have, but what you are that counts. That was proved on the Titanic...it was the Brown luck. I'm the unsinkable Mrs. J.J. Brown."

The book isn’t a detailed biography of Margaret Brown’s life, but I had just visited the Molly Brown House Museum in Denver and just wanted to know a little more about her life, so it was perfect for that. What a life she led! She’s definitely going on my imaginary dinner party list!
Excellent Biographical read. Having grown up in CO I heard a lot about Molly Brown. This amazing book gave bones to facts and made it a charming, exciting little read.
Written for a younger audience but still very helpful for older readers who don't know anything more about Mrs. Brown than she survived the Titanic. If you think her name really was "Molly" then you may want to give the book a read.
