What is it that fascinates us so much about other people's blunders!? It is a fact of life that we all do silly things, sometimes on a daily basis, but it is the ones we can view publicly that seem to hold the most attraction. The humiliation can be on an even grander scale if performed in front of us, either on a film or television screen or in an equally open arenalike at a wedding, or a concert or even in the workplace. In Dumbest Blunders you will read about some real doozies that have been said and done by movie stars...sport stars....politicians...and people like you and me who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time!
As a book, a few things didn't work for me. An example; there was a section on funny TV blunders, that probably LOOK really funny, but translate to tedium on the page. Quite often the author seems to think something is hilarious (and obvs hates on Shane Warne, what's up with that?) and really, it's not a cracker. Anyway, I learned a few interesting tidbits, so it wasn't a totally failure. A quick enjoyable read (although not always) Three stars!
