I’m honored to be a part of the ARC team for this series and am leaving a review by my own choice to show my appreciation for Bethany Dawn’s work.
A really fun, vibrant world has been created with The Devil’s Outlaws series. A world where the main characters are lovable, have real flaws, love fiercely, and create a beautiful found family. I love that Bethany Dawn brings previous featured characters in to the current story with each book. She also knows how to pitch a hell of a cliffhanger at the end of each book! And since the series is fresh and still coming out, it means waiting a torturous few months between book releases. But it’s worth it, thank goodness.
This Mess was not at all what I was expecting. The spice that is in it is good, just not as much as I anticipated. This book felt shorter than the previous ones, I felt like there was some story yet unfinished (between the 3 main characters) when I reached the end. But then I remembered this world isn’t exactly one where we get a full HEA picture at the end of each book, perhaps since the various storylines continue in the background of each future book.
I was really glad to see Saint’s realistic reaction at having to share Allie. There is no way most (stereotypical) possessive, alphahole bikers would just go “ok sure, I’ll share what’s mine with another person, no problem” and I loved the hell out of Bethany Dawn for not making the dynamic snap in place too easily. It wouldn’t have been believable if everyone was ok with it right away having (what I assume is) no prior poly experience.
I liked This Mess as it is, but would have also loved to see more development of the dynamic between the 3 main characters once things finally seemed to click in for them. We spent so much time with Saint wrestling with it, it would have been nice to see more of how it played out for all of them together once he finally opened up to the idea.
I have to work extra hard to be patient with the cliffhanger this time because the girl involved has been one of my favorite background characters and I’m dying to know what the heck happened to her! :)

I’m so thrilled to have been gifted an ARC of this book. Thanks to the author, first and foremost.
The fact that this books starts off with “This is going to hurt.” as the preface…I was already terrified. Saint has been my absolute favorite character since book 1. Something about him was just it for me. I’m glad to have learned more about him in this book and explore his and Allie’s relationship (Mason too 😋).
My eyes legit bugged out of my head at the last line in this book. All I will say is do yourself a favor and read this series. I’m too ready for the next book. I am captivated by this story. I’m a sucker for a motorcycle club and spicy romance. These books tick all of those boxes. I highly recommend!

Omg that ending 🤯 I didn’t see that coming at all. I’m completely shook right. Oh these men are everything. I mean a biker men sandwich yes please 🥵 My heart broke for Saint and what he was going through. I love how Allie stick to what she wanted and wasn’t gonna let anything or anyone come between it. And Mason oh he was so sweet and understanding. He just really pulled at your heartstrings. This book was full of so many plot twist. Had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the next book. Because I need answers!! I highly recommend this book.

You never know what’s around the corner, or what comes next from Bethany Dawn. Her writing style is amazing and her books just flow.
This mess was a great book, a push and shove match between lovers is always nice to read because you never know who the girl will pick.
The ending I didn’t see coming! I can’t wait for the next one….

I absolutely love everything Bethany writes. At first I was questioning how she would make a why choose? work with one of the MMC being super possessive who doesn't like to share. But, she made it work! I love Saint and Mason for Allie, they both complete her. It does end of a bit of a cliffhanger and when I say my mouth dropped, it dropped because I was not expecting that ending.

“This one is going to hurt.”
That is the preface to this book. One sentence. Nothing else. And ya’ll this one hurt. My heart broke in the first chapter.
Where do I even begin?!? This is hard to review my “normal” way because I have to be extra careful with not giving to much information. Because each thing in this book leads to the next. So I’m going to try my best.
In our previous books, we have meet Allie, Mason, and Saint as background character. Now they become our main characters. Allie is Reece’s best friend. Mason was a prospect for the Devil’s Outlaws, but now a patched member. Saint is the Devil’s Outlaws’ VP. Because of the way Bethany writes these books, we have already grown to know and love these characters and we’ve seen some stuff happening in the background. Now we are going to start addressing it.
Allie is a law student. And since the day she laid eyes on Saint, there was no one else. That was until Mason. Saint still is the sexy rough biker she’s developed feelings for, but Mason has his own charms. He’s just as sexy, charming and completely the opposite of Saint. But there is just something about both of them pulling her in and she can’t choose.
Saint is moody and on edge. Something BIG happened and it has his entire focus. But Allie somehow manages to calm the storm inside him. He wants her. And has since the first day he laid eyes on her. And after Finn and Huntley’s wedding, he knew she was his. But club business has to be dealt with before he can fully explore that. Right now, he can’t be what she needs, what she deserves. What is coming could change him, and he doesn’t know who he will be on the other side of it. Knowing that, there is still a part of him that can’t fully stay away or let her go. Allie can’t say no, and she knows he needs her. He may be a stubborn biker, but he’s also so much more.
Mason is carefree. Living his best life. He’s smart and funny. And when Allie’s head is a mess, he’s there. Everything she wants. He has a way of making her feel loved, feel seen that draws her to him more and more. Mason thinks Allie is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. While things are complicated, he is patient and understanding. This could be bad. But in his mind, he’s going to ride it out until the end, that hopefully never comes.
Allie is torn but why choose? Both men equally hold her heart. Can she have them both?
And that’s not the only problem in this story. Something happened that is club business. Saint has to figure it out. He has a promise to uphold. Things in life aren’t always just one problem at a time. In the midst of dealing with said club business, someone attempts to kidnap Allie. Even though it’s unrelated to the club, it quickly becomes more club business because these men will die to protect her. They quickly learn this kidnapping was not random. It’s linked to someone in Allie’s life. And that is bringing events that no one expected.
This is only part of their story. There are lots secrets hiding and they have to come out…eventually. Can you survive this mess?
This book was a whole emotional rollercoaster. The story line is incredible and well laid out. This is the type of book I love reading. Literally hanging on to every page, unable to put it down. But this is only the beginning for them. And I can NOT wait to see what happens next. I love all of these characters. I loved them before I started. We still have a former main characters in the background, and some newer ones join the party. Bethany has a way of just making you want to be an Outlaw. You really get know these characters and I love it. I highly recommend this series.
Also, let me explain my spice rating! There is spice. And it’s 🥵 BUT this book is not quite full RH…yet. It’s coming. I know Bethany can bring the spice. And I suspect the next book to come through. We just need to go through some things to get there.

I’m literally screaming at the end of this book. I knew this book was going to have a cliffhanger, and when things weren’t getting to be too bad around the 80% mark and the closer to the end I got, I knew it was going to be a bad cliffy. I need the next book, like, yesterday! Besides that, phenomenal book. Incredible writing as always. The overarching storyline just keeps getting deeper and deeper and I have so many questions. Let’s get into it, yeah?
So, in book 1 (only the strong) we met Reese and Callum, and in book 2 (will survive) we met Huntley and Finn. This book we’ve got Reese’s best friend, Allie, and Callum’s biker brothers, Mason and Saint. Allie is a sassy, strong, independent FMC who is slowly falling in love with two men. She is willing to do anything for either of them, except choose one over the other. When someone comes to try and kidnap Allie, Mason and Saint come together to figure out who they are and what they want with her.
Saint has taken over the club after his best friend and President, Ronan, was killed. He is completely grief ridden and vows to find out who and why someone would kill a guy everyone loved and adored. As much as he loves Allie, he can’t give his all to her in his current state. When it seems like Allie has chosen Mason over him, he gets angry, but when they find out who was trying to kidnap her, he’s willing to put his life on the line for her.
Mason…I’m going to try and be objective about Mason because I have some thoughts about him and if he was real, I’d have some words for him after what I found out at the end. Anyway, Mason, the club’s resident hacker, met and got to know Allie through Reese when he was out on protection detail when Reese had a stalker. The more they hung out the closer they got and slowly started falling for each other. He’s now been assigned to try and figure out what happened to Ronan. He seems like he’s burning a candle at both ends trying to solve this murder and figure out who was after Allie.
Can what happened to Ronan and Allie be connected? Who killed Ronan? Why did they kill him? Who is after Allie and why? So many questions I need answered!

WOW! BETHANY DAWN HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!! Lord have mercy was this INTENSE from the beginning! STEAMY AF!! we dive right in from one mess to another. Saint is grieving the loss of not just a brother but THEE brother! Prez of the club! Allie went for what she wanted! Saint is a Possesive alphahole and his feelings/limits are tested when Allie wants not just him, but Mason as well! This Mess takes you through so many twist and turns, you don’t know whether to love or hate Saint, you hesitate on loving Mason, because let’s be real, if it’s too good to be true odds are something is going to happen to feck sh!t up!! Secrets begin to come to light, the old prez hid a lot of things from his club and Allie’s dad…Father of the Year that one(sarcasm🙄), things never go so great when you have involvement with the mafia. Mason, oh sweet Mason! Just when I started to fall for you too, when Allie was happy, everything went dark so fast! GOSH DOES IT HURT!!!
In this book, we also get to see Reese, Callum, Huntley and Finn back. Such an emotional roller coast and bitter sweet being able to see them here and there in this mess. Absolutely LOVE this book, the third in the series of the Devils Outlaw but surely not the last.
Find out if Allie ends up choosing between the two biker hotties or if her heart will forever be in two. Definitely recommend this book, the whole series! Hurry and dive into the Devils Outlaw, beware though, you may fall in love with an outlaw yourself! 🥵

Can a Queen have Two Kings…..
I’ve been waiting to see who Allie was into since the first book and I had my suspicions but nothing prepared me for this book. It starts with just devastation, sadness and pain. Saint has been the VP of the Devil’s Outlaws for a few years but nothing has prepared him to all of a sudden change his role. Allie has had eyes for Saint since they met but he’s never made his move, but when he does he’s definitely not kind to her afterwards. Mason is still be to being a fully patched member of the club and definitely enjoys his role of being the tech guy helping out Miles and learning from him. Mason has never been able to keep his eyes and mind off of Allie since the fated birthday party he first saw her at. Allie isn’t sure what to do with her feelings for both Mason and Saint, but a twist of fate has Mason coming to her rescue. Family isn’t always blood and Allie has definitely learned that since moving to Washington. She’s found and made her own family that she would do anything for. What happens when your blood family only sees you as a Pawn in their own chess game? Mason knows Allie’s heart belongs to both him and Saint. Saint however can’t be anything but venomous and mean towards Allie because he refuses to listen to her. There were so many times I was screaming and yelling at Saint for being a dumba$$. But boy I wasn’t expecting the freaking twists and turns this book has and now I have to wait till September for the next installment…..you can guarantee I WILL HAVE ALL OF THESE BOOKS! I absolutely love these characters and their stories, but the cliffhanger has me chomping at the bit for the next book!

Mason is still be to being a fully patched member of the club and definitely enjoys his role of being the tech guy helping out Miles and learning from him. Mason has never been able to keep his eyes and mind off of Allie since the fated birthday party he first saw her at. Allie isn’t sure what to do with her feelings for both Mason and Saint, but a twist of fate has Mason coming to her rescue. Family isn’t always blood and Allie has definitely learned that since moving to Washington. She’s found and made her own family that she would do anything for. What happens when your blood family only sees you as a Pawn in their own chess game? Mason knows Allie’s heart belongs to both him and Saint. Saint however can’t be anything but venomous and mean towards Allie because he refuses to listen to her. There were so many times I was screaming and yelling at Saint for being a dumba$$. But boy I wasn’t expecting the freaking twists and turns this book has and now I have to wait till September for the next installment…..you can guarantee I WILL HAVE ALL OF THESE BOOKS! I absolutely love these characters and their stories, but the cliffhanger has me chomping at the bit for the next book!

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Let me just start by stating how stinking much I love Bethany Dawn. I love how much thought she puts into every detail in her book, down to the playlist. You can tell as soon as you start reading each and every book that she pours her heart into each character and that she truly loves these characters as though they’re real.
All that being said, she this book was not my favorite in the Devils Outlaw series thus far. However, that’s nothing to do with the book itself. The book itself falls right into place on the series and is just as wonderfully written as the first two. I think the reason this one wasn’t my favorite was because of the MFM storyline, but not for the reasons you may think. I actually have no problems with an MFM, I’ve actually read several. I think for me the fact that nothing was actually established in terms of the “relationship” and that left me feeling…unsettled. Yes, unsettled. So, it wasn’t really a cliff hanger but there wasn’t actually any closure for me either. I’m also still insanely curious and confused about Ace’s role, but I know from previous books this will more than likely evolve in book 4.
Dawn is a master of cliff hangers and just as expected, this book left me hanging in a good way.

I wanted to love this book but I just didn’t.
The whole trio is just not working. I can see what the author is trying to do: one soft and gentle the other hard and rough. But it’s not working. And I’m sorry, but the FMC refusing to pick one when neither want the other in the picture just isn’t inviting passion.
I get there is a second part to this book and it ends on a cliffhanger. Maybe the second book redeems this situation but it would have been better to write it as one book and allow the reader to see the whole picture and not part thereof. As a result I’m not a fan of Allie. She’s selfish and it’s clear Mason is hurt but her constantly sleeping with Saint while she’s sleeping with him. And Saint is off and on with his feelings for Allie leading her up the garden path. Then bam! They’re all in love with Allie and she’s in love with them but both MMC hate that the other is in the picture. Like WTF?!
It gets 3-stars instead of two because the storyline outside this mess isn’t too bad. It’s got some meat on the bones but what’s frustrating is the leader about the Senators wife that started in book one and still hasn’t been addressed. It feels messy with lots of sun stories now; Bratva, Senator and Ro’s death. And where were Ro’s cousins whom they’re in business with? Last book they’re mates with the Mafia and no sign of them in this one? Too many loose ends at the moment.

Once I’d got into it, I couldn’t put it down.
I need more of Allie, Mason and Saint.
Allie didn’t know her mum. Her dad brought her up, well, when I say brought up, her two nannies did.
He doesn’t seem to care much for her.
But she’s found her people with the Outlaws.
She came across Saint at a wedding but he let her go then. She then found Mason through her friend, Reese, who is marrying Callum, one of the Outlaw prospects. Now Mason isn’t letting her go.
But her feelings run deep for both Mason and Saint.
Her heart is split in two halves, one for each man.
But can she get them on board?
But when her safety is put at risk, can she depend on these men to keep her safe?
I really felt for Mason’s character, he’s pushed and pulled constantly and he is so easy going. Him and Saint are so yin and Yang. But I’ve got to love a bad boy, he’s a moody sod and he just doesn’t know what to do with his heart and his head. He’s President so needs to show he’s the main man.
But what an ending!! I sat there and was all ‘what the hell!’
First class biker read. Make sure you read the whole series so you don’t miss a beat.

This is the first book I read from Bethany Dawn and I really liked it. Saint's pain and emotions were well written and I had to take a break from reading a few times. Unfortunately, it's a journey I know personally. Mason's laid back and easygoing personality provides a nice counterbalance to Saint in the story. Each of them work with a different side of Allie. Since it was part of a series I wasn't surprised when it ended in a cliffhanger. But that cliffhanger almost had me throwing my Kindle across the room! Did not expect that and can't wait for the next book to see what happens.

I am completely wrecked at this point. The cliffhanger at the end of this book has me so on the edge of my seat and knowing I have to wait for the next book. I have absolutely loved this entire series from the 1st book. I will forever recommend Bethany Dawn to everyone who reads. The chokehold this series has on me is insane. I need more of Allie, Mase, and Saint now!!!!

Bethany's books are always action packed and drama filled and this one certainly is as well. The spice I will say is a lot less than the previous two books in this series which was pretty surprising considering it's MFM but I think there was a lot of focus on the grief and drama in this one.
Saint was definitely my favorite character in this one, very relatable and I got him. I was glad to see Saint struggle with the idea of sharing Allie as that seems very believable.
The cliffhanger at the end was a really big one this time and I can't wait for the next one. Thank you for this ARC Bethany!

WOW…I am absolutely IN LOVE with this series so far, I’m so proud of Bethany!! How far she’s come and the growth that she’s achieved with this series, it’s so easy to get sucked into, the good old “I’ll read one more chapter and go to bed” and then next thing you know, you’ve read almost all of it and it’s light outside.
Saint, mason, and Allie…when I tell you I’m obsessed with them😭🤚🏻 like miss ma’am got two men and I’m HERE FOR IT!

Seeing the characters from the previous books had me SQUEALING, I don’t want to spoil anything just in case you want to read the books in the other series…
But I will say one of the guys (saint) is more of a broken, “cold hearted man” because of something, it’s changed him.
And then we have mason…our little cutie pie🥹 he’s so cute I just wanna hug him, each time he’s present. He’s so precious, we GOTTA KEEP HIM SAFE!!
And then Allie…I adored her, she’s such a strong FMC, she fell for two men…so opposite, but she couldn’t let go of them both, and I love her, and I’m PRAYIN, they get a happy ending, they all deserve happiness!!
That ending? OH DAMN😭I damn near started to tear up!

Wow, what twists and turns are around each corner? I absolutely loved this one. I will say that I definitely didn't see that ending coming, and it about tore my heart out. Please tell me someone who doctored that video (begs on knees) I have loved each story but this one is the best so far, who doesn't love a good why choose with sexy as sin tattooed bikers. I loved the two very different dynamics of Saint and Mason and how they fit perfectly with Allie.
