Here’s an amusing new twist on the well-known fairy tale situation in which a frog becomes a handsome prince when he is kissed by a beautiful princess. Can Snog the Frog also be transformed by a kiss? Today is his birthday, and he plans to celebrate the day by finding out. Who will give him a kiss? First he asks Cow, then Sheep, but both refuse to kiss a frog. Not even Snake or Pig are willing to kiss poor Snog the Frog. At last he meets a pretty little princess, and makes his request to her. This princess has read up on her fairy tales, which is to say that she might be willing to give this little frog his much-needed kiss. The outcome of this cheerful tale will bring a smile to the face of every little boy and girl who has it read aloud to them.

We read this in class. This is an adorable book is a different version of the Frog and the Princess. Snog the frog goes around and tries to get other to kiss him, so he will turn into a handsome prince. Finally, he finds the princess and she has heard of the fairy tale about the princess kissing the from and him turning into a prince. So, she decides to give it a try and nothing happened. She tried several more times and still nothing! The American title for this book is called Kiss the Frog. This book would be a good book to read to early elementary around Valentine's Day.

A frog wants to be turned into a prince, especially since it's his birthday. He asks a myriad of animals to kiss him so that he can turn into a prince, but no one wants to. He finally comes across a little girl who has read enough fairy tale books to know that kissing a frog may turn him into a prince. This book would be a good book for around valentine's day or maybe even an intro about fairy tales.
