Leí el libro en español y por alguna razón el título del libro es "una mujer decidida " cosa que no es cierto ya que la protagonista después de la mitad del libro no sabe que hacer, a mi parecer un poco tóxica la relación ya que Josh el protagonista cambia mediante sexo las decisiones o planes de Angela ( que parece no tener más en la vida que hacer lo que Josh quiera). El libro no está tan mal pero el final algo soso y odie las partes de la interacción con la familia de Josh, aburridas y a mi parecer poco realistas.

Actually, I'm not very sure what I think of this story.

He was SO in love that he was overwhelming... I understand her fears (I'd have those 3 rules tbh) but I don't know if I would do the same.

4 Stars! ~ Angela's 29, very soon to be 30, and there are so many things she's been putting off in her life; like travelling to Europe, skinny-dipping, eating a seven course meal, and losing her virginity. Now given a bit of a scare, Angela has decided she needs to tackle that big one, losing her virginity. Though she's never met Josh, he has a reputation with women as a sure thing. Josh is the local boy who came back to town to launch his very successful business. When Angela approaches him in a local bar, Josh can't help wondering if he's on funniest videos. But Angela is dead serious about losing her virginity and she's picked Josh as the one to do the deed, with the full understanding that this is a one time only, no strings attached arrangement. Only after they do the deed, and Josh wakes up to find Angela gone, Josh decides there's no way that that is going to be a one time thing! Searching her down, Josh tells Angela he wants more, but Angela turns him down, even though she agrees what they experienced was earth shattering. This only makes Josh hungrier, and his pursuit heats up, until finally Angela agrees to a six month fling. To protect her heart, Angela gives herself some rules, never spend the night, never cancel plans to accommodate Josh, and never, ever say I love you. The more time they spend together, the more determined Josh becomes that he's going to win Angela forever.

Angela has forgotten to nurture herself over the years. Losing her virginity was the first step that put her on a path of self discovery and adventure. She's not ready to get involved in a real relationship. Josh had learnt to be ruthless and relentless in pursuing what he wants when it comes to business. He puts those skills to work on Angela, taking control of their relationship and steering it in a HEA direction. Only Josh forgets that Angela isn't like his business and he finds that he can't control her.

This was a very good book. Even though in some hero's the controlling personality might be put offish, Ms. Yardley manages to show Josh as truly caring and not really aware of how controlling he'd become. To contrast Josh, Ms. Yardley made Angela very independent. I'm glad they finally did get their HEA.

Bastante entretenida, mucho mejor que la otra novela de esta autora que había leído. Es más corta por lo tanto no se anduvo tanto por las ramas. Eso sí... muchas escenas sexuales, esto hace que probablemente no lea más de ella. Me desespera que en las novelas "románticas" esto sea cada vez más frecuente, para mí, le quitan todo el romanticismo. Pero en fin...
