Fallen from the sky in a burning ball of flames, she’s battered, bruised, and can’t remember who she is or where she came from. The only thing she is certain of is that this world is not her own. Stranded in a world of fae, Sage must face her own dark past to recover her memories and answer the question: What—or who— is she running from? As ominous messages and threats mount, Sage will have to decide whether to keep running, or stay and trust her new fae friends and her own powerful magic. The fate of the worlds—and the people she loves—are threatened by the forces of darkness and evil once again, and she is at the center of it all. Despite her best efforts, Sage feels the pull of fate to step into her own destiny. But she cannot do it alone. Gavin has spent the past ten years avoiding the shackles of responsibility looming over him as a young Lord in training. After knowing firsthand what the grueling battle for freedom cost, he isn’t about to give that freedom up. But everything changes when a strange, human girl crashes into his world in a burning ball of flames. Gavin, inexplicably drawn to Sage, finds himself helping her reclaim her memories—and her powers. But all is not well in the Kingdom of Felysia. The Dark Born are on the move again, threatening the fragile peace of Gavin’s homeland. This time, they have their sights on an even greater weapon than they had before. Gavin feels the pull of fate to step into his destiny, but only if he can convince the Realm Leaper to step into her own.

Wow that was really good! The characters were fantastic. Trying to figure what all was going on was so fun. And Sagr is just a great FMC. Her reactions to the different things that happen were so real. It was fun to see her take on fae and the other world!! I would recommend this book! And can't wait for the next one!!

“Realm Leaper” is Book 1 of the Realm Leaper Series by P.E. Craven. This fantasy tale follows a young girl who finds herself at the center of threatening forces of darkness and evil, as a call of fate to step into her own destiny continuously beckons.

Sage can feel the sensation of spinning pulling at her insides, threatening to rip her very soul out through her throat and mouth. Her chances of survival are slim as she tears through the clouds, picking up speed and falling faster. An enormous spurt of water, steam, rock, and debris a few seconds later tells of the impact her body generates, after a long duration of falling through impenetrable darkness and clouds. She opens her eyes to find herself surrounded by three curious youths, who cannot hide their shock after witnessing her fall from the sky. Sage is trapped in a fireball that amazingly doesn’t burn her, and her memory has become insensible and will do little to help her recollect details of her origin.

Elsewhere, a spying mission by a naive young man, Gavin, allows readers a look into the intricacy and psychology of espionage. Readers are also introduced to a bond that is believed to hold stronger over the institutionalized practice of marriage. Tension begins to build early into the read as concealed details begin to emerge of the protagonist’s opulent status. Obligations that subsequently arise such as the termination of the blood sacrifices and the freeing of all the secret creatures that some leaders want to perceive as myths, submit a nerve-wracking twist, setting the tale to a faster, thrilling pace and a resounding suspense.

Author Craven has streamed her ingenious spirit into the fantasy world by telling an epic story in what she terms as …answering the call to write stories of people facing down their destinies on their terms. Her main characters’ conquest over hardships through critical thinking, magical capabilities, devotion, and faith in each other is inspiring and highly moving. Readers may find themselves wanting to take on similarly demanding tasks.

“Realm Leaper” by P.E. Craven is a uniquely composed magical tale, in which ‘thinking outside the box’ is profoundly illustrated and highly encouraged. Concrete, slick, and enchanting best characterize this fantasy. The author’s masterstroke is in her ideation and word-building, as well as her distinctive prose. Craven dedicates the read to anyone who has confronted unconquerable odds, been knocked down repeatedly, but stood back up. Or just felt the call of fate and refused to back down.

The beginning of this book was such a great hook. The world building also has so much potential. I can see this world as a big series without being overwhelming. The limited third person POV allows the readers to gain more information without spoiling too much for the plot twists. Though, it focuses mostly on the male and female MCs.

I did, at times, get confused with the flashbacks and its formatting. I do wish there was a map as it could help with better establishing the world building. Maybe for book 2 🤞

Talk about falling into the right place at the right time 🤪
(If you read the book you’ll get it)

Wow P.E Craven did it with this one. As someone who recently read Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas I was ITCHING for a GOOD well rounded fantasy book. We’re talking a Fantasy book that is going to sink its nails in you. SO if you are a Maas girlie like me you know the vibes. In this story you meet Sage a “normal”-ish 20 something just trying to survive in a brand new Fae world. She literally falls into this realm not remembering why she literally fell from the sky. Talk about drama. In this world she is faced with the reality that she legitimately has to slowly regain all her memories to have the slightest chance of figuring out why she’s there. Here in this realm she meets Gavin. A smooth talking warrior lord to be who is keen on being anyone but. He is drawn to Sage from the first time he sees her. He is working with the court of his Fae King and Queen to keep tabs on Sags but slowly realizes that his attraction could be more.

This is a book full of politics and Fae drama. Whether the court should trust some weird human girl. To the human coming to terms with her own destiny. This story gave me everything I was hoping for in a fantasy novel and I cannot wait to DIVE head first into Wind Walker
1000/10 recommend !!

I feel like I say this alot, but I really couldn't put this book down. I'm a sucker for anything Fae and elemental magic so this one was definitely right up my alley.

With that being said, this book also threw in realm leaping (obviously) and a few other twists I wasn't expecting. There was really never a dull moment throughout and obviously the added romance peaked my interest even more. Who doesn't want an overprotective, handsome fae warrior?

Although fae and elemental magic are in a lot of books I read, I found that the overall storyline of this book is something I haven't read yet, which was refreshing.

The only criticism I have was that sometimes it was confusing when jumping back to scenes or memories from the past, I would have enjoyed a more physical representation of when I was reading a memory or different Realm (it also could have just been the fact I was reading an ARC version). But I did eventually get used to it and started recognizing earlier when the story was switching.

I would recommend this book and I'm going to need book 2 asap please !!

*** Please note, although I received an ARC, all thoughts and opinions are my own! ***

This book was fantastic! I loved the premise of the story and I was drawn in from the first page. I enjoyed the world building and the FMC was one of my favorites. I thought that this was a unique story and written well, in a way that was captivating.

From the very beginning, the author played with the reader's emotions in a good way. From the beginning to the end, the book kept me intrigued, shocked, happy, and sad. The author is a wonderful storyteller, and everything just flowed perfectly. There were characters that were loved and adored, as well as ones that were hated and feared. I haven't read a good fae book in a long time, and this was just absolutely perfect. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
I received a complimentary ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.

Although this first book in the series has a slower start, the world-building investment is worth it! Things pick up in Chapter 3, so be patient.
Sage (the FMC) is different. She has powers that her world both abhors and covets. The big bad is after her. She spends years on the run until she meets a new friend who gives her an escape. THIS is where the real adventure begins!
I enjoyed this book!

I was a little worried that I wouldn't like this book in the beginning, it is a slow start, but by chapter 3 I was hooked! I loved going through all of Sage's memories and seeing what happened before she made the crater. Learning about her powers was amazing! Seeing her and Gavin grow together and learn to stop running was so fun! I can't wait to read book 2!

I have been reading some FANTASTIC ARCs lately, if you haven’t noticed by now 90% of my reviews are 5 star reads. FOR ME. So before I begin to gush over this book let’s all remember that a review is opinionated and varies per reader.

So here, we have Realm Leaper. To be honest, I am almost positive I was just scrolling on Sam’s website being thirsty and signed up for this one blind (I like to live my life on the edge and do that from time to time) and I am SO GLAD I did.

This book follows Sage (the FMC) on her journey to recovering her lost memories and then some (bye I talk too much and am trying not to spoil anything ok)

Then we have sweet baby Fae angel Gavin who I adored the entire book while he figures out what to do with this fiesty woman who LITERALLY fell out of the sky into his world.

Honestly, the storyline was giving very much…the odyssey? But like obvi more fun lol (don’t come for me ok The Odyssey is a good book, it’s a classic and it is also boring as hell I said what I said). I am not sure why that came to my mind as I was reading but it did remind me a lot of that book (again way more fun though lol)

I found myself taking a liking to all of the characters throughout the book which is impressive writing if I must say so myself. Even the secondary characters were explained well and I was happy to learn more about them. It kinda gave a family feel which I fully enjoyed.

I loved this book, and I am giving all the praise. Highly recommend as alwayssss!

It you like fae, spice (yes there is some spice up in here), attitudes, fighting, elemental powers and all that jazz this book is for you.

I cannot wait for book two!!!!

One of my favorite reads this year. I immediately connected with Sage’s story. This world is incredibly built. Also love portal fantasy’s.

This is a fallen world with unique magic. Sage has amazing powers. She can harness all the elements and has the gods on her side. This is where I fell in instant love. Her portal to these different places for the gods. The bargains she makes. It was all so well written, I felt like I had traveled there myself. She is the chosen one and with that cliffhanger I can’t wait to see what happens next.

If you love reading lapses in time then this is a must read. Paige outdid herself when writing Sage’s travel to different places. If you love slow burn romance, like me, then you’re going to love Gavin and Sage together. Their romance is beautiful and incredibly sweet.

Read if you love:
✔️portal fantasy
✔️slow burn
✔️epic powers
✔️snarky FMC

Quotes:

“I won’t let them hurt you.”

“It’s not like we can change our stories, Gavin. Trust me, I would if I could.”

“You can’t hide from me now. Your powers will always call to me. I will find you, one way or another.”

“Fall. Like water from the ledge of a table. Like water falls between cracks and crevices. Fall through your chains.”

“But, go ahead, keep trying to wield the wind like fire. What do I know?”

“It is not for me to tell you who it is, but it is not your family, no. It is a piece of your heart, however, Sage Brennan. You cannot stop what has been foretold.”

Phew, this story was so good, but also a lot. I loved reading this book so much. Initially it did take me a bit to get into the writing style, but once I did I was hooked. Sage is a young woman that is introduced at the beginning that comes plummeting from the sky into a new realm, literally. Though she lands, injuring herself severely, she's saved by Gavin and his friends. They take her back to the keep, see to her injuries, then begin to learn about her.

Though she's lost her memory, they find out that she's blessed by the Gods to be a person able to wield all the elements and that they need her to help take care of the darkness and evil that is threatening to take over both realms. In this world, she becomes close to Gavin and Raphael. Both are tasked to watch her, and see that she isn't any danger. Where Gavin has an immediate attraction to her and doesn't fully understand the cause of it, Raphael takes on more of a mentor role for her, and helps her to regain control of her powers while she also slowly recalls her past, purpose, and mission.

I really loved the world building in this story, and how even the past of the people held such a huge impact on everyone and their hopes to never return to the time of slavery that they freed themselves from. I When reading you can get a great grasp on the emotions of envision what is happening. The only thing I wish there was possibly, is the distinction between the past and present, and when the POV was switching.

One of my favorite types of fantasy reads included fae and exploring fae magic. Realm Leaper was a fresh take on this type of fantasy, blending it with elements of urban fantasy as the reader is introduced to two different realms within this world. Chapter one starts with a literal bang as a fireball lands with a mysterious human in a fae realm. Sage, the FMC, has no recollection of her past or how she came to be in this new realm. As the reader, we find out about this new world and the fae characters, along with the main FMC, Sage. This leads to a dual storyline as we learn more about Sage's past and how she will fit into this new realm while trying to escape her past. I really enjoyed Realm Leaper, and I think that P.E. Craven did a great job at keeping the readers' interest and providing enough plot twists to move the story forward, while also connecting everything to Sage's past. I found this book to have a great blend of character-driven dialogue, political intrigue, action, and world-building. By the end of this book, you care about these characters and what will happen to them, so it's no surprise that the ending had me feeling all the emotions and perfectly sets up book 2 in this duology. I would highly recommend this book to any fantasy, portal fantasy, dual timelines, and fae book lovers!

Realm Leaper is an epic romantic fantasy about a woman who jumps from one world to another but has no memory of her life before landing in her new world.

Throughout the story, Sage slowly regains her memories and realizes her two worlds are more connected than she thinks.
The story is multiple pov, but is still easy to follow. The world is complex and well thought out, and so is the magic system.

My only criticism is that I wish there was either a prequel at the beginning of the book or even a novella set before the events of this book. There are lots of references to past battles and wars and the way things used to be that current characters lived through. It would add some more context for why certain characters behaved the way they did.

I really enjoyed the romance, and felt it was unique. I was never sure where it was going to go, and I really enjoyed that because a lot of Romantasy can feel a little formulaic after you've read so much of it. This breaks the mold nicely while still holding on to some conventions.

Overall this was a really fun read (listen) and was an enjoyable first installment in the series. I am looking forward to diving into the next one and seeing where Sage ends up!

This unique debut novel had me hooked from the first chapter! Sage fell from the sky engulfed in burning flames. What an opener!

The story is told in 3rd person limited POV, which works well for it because we need to be in the heads of the important people as the story progresses. We meet Sage and Gavin early on and get to learn about why she has landed in Gavin’s world and what happened to her as she gets her memories back. No info dump in this fantasy romance!

Once I got into the book and acclimated to the writing style, I read quickly since I kept having hunches that I wanted to discover the answers to. The book has good twists and turns, unexpected plot twists, and good revelations. All the way to the end!

This story is unique! I really enjoyed the jumping back and forth between worlds and learning what happened to get Sage where she ended up and how the worlds are interconnected.

There’s a cliffhanger sort of, but it’s not devastating thankfully! I am excited for book 2! Can’t wait to see where the story takes us!

A slow burn, friends-to-lovers, elemental magic fantasy you need to read!

After falling from the sky in a ball of fire, Sage (FMC, 23) does not know where she is, let alone who she is and where she came from. Held and healed by the Kingdom of Felysia, she must now decide how much of her past she wants to uncover, if she can master her powers, and trust her new friends, or run as evil pursues her once again.

Years after the fae war, Gavin (MMC, 25) has avoided acknowledging his full powers in order to remain free of responsibility. When Sage arrives in his land, he’s inclined to help her, befriend her, and step into his destiny.

Following the perspective of the unreliable narrator helped world build (twice), ease into the politics, and gain an emotional connection to her story. Each character Sage encounters has a distinct personality and is reflected both in appearance and dialog. The budding romance is slow and tantalizing, and makes you want to kick your feet while letting out a high-pitched screech. The heartbreaks experienced by various characters is palpable. Did I cry? Yes, yes I did. Overall, I loved the storyline and writing style, and I can’t wait to start book two!

This fell at a 3.5-4 for me - a big reason - the world building was so perfectly deliberate. It was good information but vague enough that i wasn't overloaded. I got the sense of where i was within a reasonable amount of time not wanting to read ahead just to put myself into some location. The beginning hooked me - perfectly structured and little hints of information that made me want to figure out whats next, and a tense moment to build anticipation.

The swapping between worlds coupled with 3rd person pov really aided itself to this plot - going back to not an info dump but just the right amount of confusion to not give things away. (I've been on a kick of first p pov so i was honestly worried this wouldn't draw me in but it did).

Aside from the world, i enjoyed the characters. I enjoyed the conversations and i think i honestly enjoyed the conversations Sage had with less frequent characters a little more, i can't pin point why but theu just worked so well in the plot.

If you like fantasy, reach for this, get it on the tbr...

Thank you to PE Craven for allowing me to be apart of your street team, Realm Leaper is amazing. I loved it.

I really enjoyed this book. It caught my attention right from the beginning and that is so important to me. The author does an amazing job capturing the different characters and the lands from which they are from.

The main character struggles to remember who she is as first and the author does a fabulous job creating a lovable but yet a tough character that you are rooting for.

There is some romance in this book as a subplot and I would say there is definitely some spice. I don’t really read spice so I’m not sure how to rate the spiciness however in my opinion it was descriptive enough for me to skip because that kind of stuff makes me uncomfortable lol so I’m going to rate it 🌶️🌶️.5 maybe?

I think there are about 3-4 scenes like that.

I don’t remember being told there was even a spice factor in this book but there could have been and I might have missed it. But it was really a good book and I am ready to read book 2!

To say I am obsessed would be an understatement. The use of multiple worlds, the use of multiple magic systems, the political intrigue, the chaos, the trauma. The sexy fae. Love. It. All.

This book has a lot. It toes the line of high fantasy, which I love, but let's the reader still understand what's going on without needing a handbook on the side to make sure they are following all the rules. As P.E. Craven said herself, its accessible fantasy. It brings in multiple mythologies that adds so much depth to the book and worlds. There's love and loss and coming to terms with who you are and what you're meant to do/be.

There are timeline jumps in the book, so if that's not your jam, still read the book but keep it in mind. And if you can get the audiobook, DO IT. You will feel so much more immersed in the worlds.

All of this to say, go read this.

This was one of the first romantic fantasy books I’ve read and I adore it! If you’ve been looking for your next book boyfriend, you’ve come to the right book. It’s much more than the connection between the female lead character and lead male character, though. The world building is A+ and Sage is the kind of woman you want as a best friend and/or going to war by your side. The character connections go beyond Gavin and Sage, and I even found myself rooting for a secondary character who SEEMED to be seeking Sage’s attention. The dual world timeline had be longing for more to be revealed. Sage is a badass in both worlds making her an even stronger character and I cannot wait to see what is in store for her in the second book!

I'll start with why this isn't a solid 4 or above. Personally, I'm a very character/dialogue focused reader and these were the two things that didn't work for me. The characters separately could have been likable but their interactions didn't feel natural, somehow the conversation didn't flow as it should have and it really threw me off.
It made me very sad because the world building was breathtaking. The idea felt unique and was truly executed in such a gorgeous way. This was like an adventure with Sage with rich descriptions.

The cliffhanger sure leaves you want for more.

“Realm Leaper” is P.E. Craven’s debut novel, and I thought it was a wonderful start to a new fantasy series! I loved the world building, and I loved how unique Craven’s version of the fae, magic, and elemental powers were in general. The whole concept of a Realm Leaper was so original, and the more I learn about them, the more intrigued I get! The heroine, Sage, was a character I could relate to because she had flaws and made mistakes. My other two favorite characters were Gavin, Sage’s love interest, and Raphael, their friend and the official court healer. The ending was a very dramatic plot twist, so I will definitely be reading the next one!

I very much enjoyed "Realm Leaper" and getting to know Sage, Gavin, and the rest of the cast. The mystery at the center of the story unveils nicely across the book as Sage wakes up with amnesia at the start and slowly recovers her memories. The worldbuilding is also conveyed in a way that both Sage and the readers get to learn about everything as it happens, with very little exposition dumps to take you out of the story. The magic system is really neat, and I'm excited to see it progress in the next book. All in all, this was a great start to a series, and I'll be picking up the second book as soon as possible to continue reading Sage and Gavin's story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was almost immediately pulled into the story and just wanted to know more about this girl Sage (the FMC) who came falling from the sky. The journey of Sage remembering who she was and where she came from while also building relationships with those around her in this new place was endearing. I truly felt for Sage as she remembered her past and all that it held. P.E. Craven writes such a way that made things so realistic and believable. Her world building and character development was amazing. I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on the next book! If you like fantasy with a bit of suspense I suggest you consider reading this book.

There’s something about Realm Leaper that just clicks. The pacing is strong, the emotional beats are authentic, and the fantasy elements are layered and thoughtful. I was intrigued by Sage’s mystery from the very beginning, who she is, why she fell, and how her presence ties into the rising darkness. But what made this shine for me was the way the story dealt with identity and choice. Gavin and Sage both have their own struggles with stepping into a destiny they didn’t ask for, and that made their arcs feel real and relatable. The supporting cast and the looming threat of the Dark Born added just enough tension without overshadowing the characters. This is fantasy with heart. Love it.

What a debut!
This is told in multiple third-person POV. Third person is not usually a favorite of mine, so when I do read one 1. it will take me forever 2. I love it.

The world-building is fantastic, and I just love Sage. From the first moment, I was in love. The beginning is an absolute attention grabber! I knew I would be hooked from the first sentence. As the world blooms I became obsessed.
