Evil has almost caught up to me. I can feel its breath on my neck, warning me my life might soon be over at the hands of my psychotic stalker.
Aidan, Roman, Brick and Slade vow to protect me, to do everything in their power to ensure I survive this evil. They know my darkness now, that I fear nothing, including them. But maybe that will be my downfall.
It won't be simple to extinguish the evil that chases me, as my psychotic stalker gets closer. There's still a chance he'll get to live out his darkest fantasies at my expense. And the island doesn't run itself.
While the Brixtons' hold on the island is increasing as they systematically destroy their rivals, there's still much to do before we own this place. Traitors multiply in the darkness, and while we'd prefer not to form any alliances and go it alone, we need to keep pace.
It's time to get down and dirty. To do whatever it takes to gain control. And I'm not afraid of fighting.

I don’t know where to even begin with this one. I thought it would be a continuation of the last book, but sadly it was not. The cliffhanger and last book showed so much promise, I came into this one with higher expectations.
How does this have such a high rating?
A short review of the book:
-filler book; waste of 171 pages, has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MAIN STORY, seemed like 45% of this was just dedicated to summarizing book 1 (Sea of Snakes)
-Only important parts: Chapter 8: Angel’s talk with Devon (kinda: not really. poor Devon; although important to Devon's story... finding out how her guys paid the debt.. she was distraught), Chapter 11: Brick’s backstory (which was interesting, but also.. for a young kid to be forced to torture someone, it lacked emotion), and the last 30 pages, where we get to know about Angel's backstory/the guy that's "trying to hunt her down" (which is quite sad tbh, I really feel for her, and what she went through).
Everything else in this book is a waste and not even worth reading. The smut is the only reason I’m even giving this 1 star. The smut was great as always... a little weird though, especially the lathering of olive oil and that one scene, where Angel helps Brick torture someone, and then they stop in the middle to *be frisky* and then continue the torture afterward... I feel like Angel's lack of emotion and acceptance of torture is very tolerant... but then again with what we are told about her backstory, I guess she would be okay with it... but honestly, it doesn't feel realistic because she was would have major PTSD, so I'm unsure how she's so OK with all of the torture/killings.
-also this needs to be edited more (check my notes and highlights for these)
I did however enjoy the action part near the end, it was EPIC, and Angel is a total badass, I do really like her character, just wish her story was executed better.
Overall thoughts: Sea of Rage was a novella-like filler book that could have probably could have been condensed and combined with the newly released book four (Sea of Pain). I’m disappointed with this one. The book before this one had so much promise, and I had high expectations for this one... Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother with this one, unless you only want to read the last 30 pages for Angel's backstory. _________________________________ Sea of Snakes | Review Sea of Sinners | Review Sea of Rage | Review Sea of Pain | Review
I went into this thinking it would be a continuation of the crazy stalker and angel storyline but we didn't get any of that in this book and I am so sad and disappointed :(
I really REALLY wanted more of the main story, this book was all fluff, and only about the 4 men's business dealings, torture scenes, hot sexy scenses, Angel kept asking about Devon from book 1 and the guys telling Angel the story of Devon and Devon's "Snakes"(her 4 men).. I feel like that took up at big portion of this book tbh
And this was so SHORT?? I'm so confused why and the author has also released a 3rd angel x stalker x her 4 guys book so.. I REALLY HOPE Sea of Pain continues the main storyline... unlike this book.
smut 10/10 - although the smut in the middle of torturing that 1 guy was weird but definitely steamy
I struggled to read this. Nothing important really happens kinda skimmed through the pages, I thought this was going to be a continuation but the only thing that has to do with Angelsstory is the last 10 ish pages :(
OH MY GOSH! I NEED MORE! this book is so good!!! I was concerned I wouldn’t get more of Angels story because of how the first book in the series covers Devon I thought the third book would be new story plot/characters but oh my word!!!! I’m in love with the Brixton bunch! Such a great dynamic! I really love her relationship with each of them individually and the whole group dynamic of it as well! If you like dark romance, why choose/RH then I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this series to you!! I am hoping for more of the guys back stories in the next book! But man this series just sucks you right in! 10/10 ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR & thank me later! 💗
Uh... what was this? I thought this was going to be a continuation? WHAT HAPPENED? I'm so confused.. why was this just about the Brixton's business stuff? What happened to the main story?
I am thoroughly confused how this is a continuation of Angels story? This was more of a lets get to know the Brixtons more, which was nice don't get me wrong, but not the continuation I had hoped for. I am very disappointed.
This book is the third book in a series that is a direct continuation of book 2 and would be confusing trying to read as a standalone.
The main character, Angel, will keep you wanting to read more! This book is a page turner and you will not want to put it down! Angel's stalker is seriously a twisted character and the guys, well they are amazing!
Start with book one and you will be hooked! I cannot wait for another sequel to this series!

This book we see changes and strenthening of the connections between Angel and the guys. Even with resistant Slade. We also see a bit of change in Angel's characterization. I can't say exactly how I feel about that because I don't know yet. I like that she's mentally stronger and able to take care of herself and get herself out of things, but it kind of comes out of left field. Did she take defense classes at some point and train with guns and knives? Or just randomly became a bloodthirsty bada**? Especially the basement scene with the guy from the club. I guess i saw her as being the innocent part of the group who would be their voice of reason and guide them to, not completely change since she accepts them as they are, but will help them have a bit more of a moral code. At times, she would bring something up that seemed like it, but then she'd discount it and claim curiosity. I do like seeing her grow closer to the guys and their interactions as a group and individual couples. I kind of hope Angel and her guys and Devon and her guys become friends, it seems like despite their differences and rivalry, there's potential for friendship and working together to have a truce and be allies and rule the island together. Maybe they'll balance each other out. There were some minor editing issues that needed to be combed over again, and there still wasn't much in the way of world building although it was better in this book than the last. I still have no idea where they are aside from "the island" and talks of "the mainland", how people dress, surfing, the trees and the heat. So once again with these descriptions I assume Hawaii, but the names, no descriptions of different languages/speech, no description of pacific islander or Asian characters makes me unsure. So it would be nice to have that answered and clarified where specifically this is actually taking place. All in all, good book, and I wonder what will happen next and if they'll finally battle with the stalker. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
Angel and her men are becoming more to each other than she thought possible. Slade still distrusts her and says they’d be better off with her gone. That doesn’t stop him from being intensely attracted to her and acting on it in a mutually satisfying fashion. Their relationship seems to be growing slowly as they include her in some of their business activities.
Heidi continues to build this story through complex interactions, dialogue, and communication between all five. Her stalker looms over her and she’s afraid of pulling her men into his madness. She discovers her inner demon who fights to the death to survive and flourish. I have great hope that she will find peace and happiness with her men!.

Book three of this series is a continuation of book 2, so if you have not read book 2, please go do that now. In this book Angel shows just how strong she is not only in the face of her stalker but also anyone who chooses to get between her and her chosen men. It is refreshing to see not just vulnerability but absolute badassery in a female lead. She may bend to their whims, but it is always on her terms. I'm curious where the author will take us next on this adventure. I don't believe we have seen the last of the Brixton crew (nor the Snakes).

Sea of Rage by Heidi Stark 5 stars, wish we could add more! Heat level 🔥10 out of 10 Anguish level 10 out of 10 every time I think of the psychopath on the loose and what he did to Angel and her family and friends. The Guys are so outrageously gorgeous yet tough on the outside with no morals code and underneath tender & generous at times. I’m loving them as we get to see who they are little by little. So excited for this series, you really will enjoy it.

Great Continuation! I think the story gets even better in this book! We get suspense, drama, steam and more!! I think Angel grew throughout the story and I loved seeing her become more confident. Angel and the guys get closer, even though some are moving at slower paces. It made it seem more natural. We got to learn a little more about the guys in this one, but I think there is still more to come. The banter between is great. Overall, I really enjoyed it! I can't wait for the next book!!
All I can say is wow for book 3 from Heidi. The guys are crazy, tough, devoted and teddy bears on the inside. Each of Angel’s men show more and more of their colors through each book and you love / hate them oh so much more. How is Angel even surviving after the crazy psycho destroyed her family and left her alone and traumatized? Angel and her men together are an unstoppable team.

As it was coming to the end, I already knew I was going to want more. I cannot wait for another book in this series. I read this book in 2 hours because I was so attached to it. I felt like I was a part of the character stories. I love that we got more of Angel's story with the stalker and I'm dying to know what happens with that. The guys are amazing with their brooding but protective vibes to!

I like how this book picks up where book two left off. I still want to throat punch Slade, but he may come around in book 4. Man oh man that stalker is sick and twisted. I really enjoyed reading this book but it still didn't answer questions from book one but it did add more of the main 1st guys. I love them all but Slade. I'm hoping that they will get over their differences and join sides.. can't wait for the next book
I’m really hooked now and I’m gonna go read the other but emotional damage. Poor Angel, I hope the guys make good on their promises!! And crazy Angel yes please!!! Get it girl!!
This was so far off the main plot IM SCREAMING, I love loved Sea of Sinners, but this was hardly a continuation. Hoping Sea of Pain will be a good conclusion!
