Ruby (Special Forces: Operation Alpha)
Tucker James “Tank” Evans is a member of an elite unit of Marines Special Forces known as Raiders. He is living his best life, mostly. From a young age, he’s dreamed of doing just what he’s doing right traveling the globe, serving his country, and protecting the innocent. He should be the happiest man alive, but yet he isn’t. He knows there’s more to life than this. He doesn’t regret his life choices and he wouldn’t change a thing, that is until he sees her for the first time.
Ruby Cox has been in hiding for six years. She wasn’t given the name Ruby at birth, but had created the name out of necessity to secure her survival. The first twenty years of her life had all been a lie, orchestrated and controlled by her parents. When reality slaps in the face at her mother’s untimely death. Ruby is forced to make a choice. Live the life that fate has dealt her by being born into the mob, or escape and live a life on the run. A life that doesn’t involve organized crime. She chooses the later. She doesn’t regret that choice until she literally runs into a Tank. From that moment on she begins to think living a life of self-imposed isolation and celibacy has been a mistake.
Tank is determined to get Ruby off the streets and into his bed and his life, but she’s reluctant to put him in danger. Her demons are always one step behind her, nipping at her heels. Can Tank save Ruby from those demons or will the demons win in the end? Has destiny made a mistake in throwing them together? Or will they find the love they both desperately need?

Mary's life seemed so "Normal". But there were so many secrets. Now Mary existed as Ruby Cox, and her life would never be the same.
Enjoy the suspenseful moments as Tank and Ruby learn to be with each other. It is truly the Beauty and the Beast story.
Just sit back and read how this tall, dark, and Alpha gets his woman. Her innocence and his brut makes this couples saga one that is deliciously lustful.
Ruby wants to continue to take care of herself, but soon she will learn, that even though her blood family didn't protect her, she now has a family that has her back.
Every time I read members of Finding His Destiny series, I enjoy it more and more.

Angela Rush is a new author to me and this is the first book of hers that I’ve read. This was such a heartfelt and beautiful read that I have rectified my error in starting a book mid series and bought the whole series!!
I loved getting a glimpse of Wolf and the guys, and of course Tex, from Susan Stokers world. It’s like welcoming old friends.
This is a beautiful story, one that makes your heart ache almost as much as it warms it.
Ruby is an awe inspiring character. Her sheer strength of will is staggering in its intensity. The way of life she has had to lead in order to protect herself was truly heartbreaking. The fear of what could easily happen to her must have weighed heavily on her shoulders.
I found her plight awe inspiring and eye opening. We all see homeless people in cities and towns, people that most don’t give a second thought to as they walk past them, or even treat with disdain.
This story shows the understanding and realisation that no one knows what is happening in another person’s life. We don’t know their struggles or their pain.
The world is told to not judge people with mental health struggles but this also applies to all walks of life. Homelessness is not who a person is, it doesn’t define who they are, merely how they are fighting tooth and nail to survive.
Angela Rush has portrayed Ruby and her life with utter respect and empathy. She has shown that homelessness portrays a strength of character and not one iota of weakness.
Tucker is a beautiful man. Despite the pain he suffered as a child he has become the epitome of what we all want in our ideal man.
He’s gentle and caring. Empathetic and respectful. A definite alpha. Domineering in an exploding ovaries kind of way. A dedicated, strong, moral man with a stunning soul.
Watching Tucker and a Ruby walk their troubled path to finding their HEA is awe inspiring and heartfelt.
Angela Rush has, without a doubt, excelled herself. This book has an awe inspiring depth that curls itself around her, cradling you in its warmth as it carries you with it on this beautiful journey.
Would highly recommend this book.

He was intrigued by her the minute he bumped into her but she doesn’t want or need his help before he can do anything with her he goes on a mission when he comes back he buys her a phone and she slowly starts opening up they have sizzling romance and she tells him who is really after her so the team helps to keep her safe and a happy ending at the end love this series

What A Great Read

Even though the grammar is off, this was a great story that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. HEA.
