If you love shows like Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, you'll love the love drama that this book has, without the detailed smut scenes. This book has the drama and the heart tug scenes that gets a good tear going. If that is your cup of tea, make this your next read.
This book follows Taking Your Time, which is Diers debut novel. It is said that a good writer gets better with every book, and I believe that to be the case for Diers!

I felt like this book was choppy in parts and then the ending would have been fine but book 3 picks up 17 years later so there's massive holes left wide open. It was a sweet story of Lauren and Jeremy but I wished the ending gave a little more.
