Outstanding read for any young officer

It was very information and had a lot of good content. There were certainly parts of it that were rather dry and not really pertinent. except for certain situations. Still, it is something that I would recommend every officer/ officer candidate should read

This book provides a list of do's and don't for Marine officers at all levels, especially for a junior officer. I found it to be very informative.

Lt Colonel Este's (Ret.) book is a manual, and as such makes for a rather dry read. However, if you want to know what a Marine officer is supposed to know then it is a book that is required reading.
