Hide Away
When an unknown threat tries to take his life, the choice is to fight back or hide away. Gunnar- I’ve never had a day in my life that I could pinpoint as being the worst. Until the day I almost lost him. Holding Jax in my arms, not knowing if he’d live to see another day will haunt me forever. It was that moment, I vowed to find every single person connected to his attempted demise and take care of them my way. But when we find out that the man pulling the strings isn’t just another enemy, will getting rid of him be as easy as we thought? Jaxon- Gunnar is the love of my life. When the rest of our team comes up with a plan to smoke out the person who tried to get rid of me, I’m immediately on board with the idea. But will Gunnar’s protectiveness get in the way? Jax. and. Gunnar. lord. I loved this book. I've been waiting for them! They were perfect. Their love was grand and it was exactly what I needed to read! I loved all of these books and looking forward to reading more!

Jaxson has been through a lot he almost died and then when he was on the mend got shot a few times. He is now on the mend and his boyfriend Gunner is taking care of him. The team is trying to figure out who almost beat him to death, Jax’s can’t remember who beat him. Jaxson and Gunner are going through some rough patches, but the love remains strong. When they find out the truth that’s when thing start getting complicated. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book. Love Jaxson and Gunner and the supporting characters are amazing. This series is excellent.

It is no secret I absolutely LOVE the world that J.J. Grice has created for the Dark Matter Security series. Now four books into the series I love it even more.
Jax and Gunnar have appeared throughout the entire series so far and Hide Away is their story. Things have not been easy for them lately and just when Jax was starting to recover from his attack in France he is injured again in the line of duty. It takes a tole on Gunnar to say the least.
These two ex-military mercenaries are the toughest of tough with their exteriors but when it comes to the love they share it is so touching. When it is just the two of them there is no holding back. Time and time again they face obstacles in this story and I won't lie...there was a moment when J.J. had me a bit worried about their futures. Much like the bonds they have with their chosen family, it overflows into an even stronger bond between just the two of them. I loved seeing that Jax and Nicole have gotten very close and the bromance between Cole and Gunnar never gets old.
Four down and four to go!!! Ms. Grice is now halfway through her DMS series and it is a world I will escape to anytime. It is definitely my favorite bodyguard/security series hands down. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the rest of the fellas!

Absolutely blown away!
Every time I finish one of JJ’s book, I think “there it is. That’s it! That’s my favorite!” Every time she comes in swinging and hits it outta the park. Her books literally just keep getting better and better. Her character development is absolutely incredible and they become so real to me. I love her scene settings and how much emotion she can evoke out of me. She literally had me crying in a middle of a spicy scene. And I just can’t 😭😅 I love how tough and strong Jax and Gun are but how sweet and vulnerable they are with each other. Their love is pure and dirty, sweet and rough, hard and fast and just everything in between. Absolutely blown away with this book and completely head over heels in love with Jax and Gun. 10/10 recommend. DMS is easily one of my favorite series. Love JJ and everything she writes.

Book 4 of the Dark Matter Series - MM - Jaxon and Gunnar
This book is soo good!! Jax and Gunnar’s relationship was so intense and their storyline brought everything altogether. Both of them have been in a relationship for six years but when Jax is severely injured - their relationship becomes shaky and is tested.
Their is some back and forth between past and present but it helps build the storyline and ties everything together. You aren’t disappointed on the spice level either!! Such a good book and must read.

Jaxson and Gunnar an undeniable love connect. There chemistry and the story line was good I love the men of the Dark Matters series loved Gunnar and Jaxson story as side characters but to read there own book was chefs kiss and the spice was great and how Jaxson and Gunnar have connects with the characters of the first three books it really makes it feel like a family I can’t wait to finish this series don’t miss you chance to read!

Jax is Gunnar’s life, his soulmate, and now someone has tried to take him away from him twice. He and the men of Dark Matter Security will stop at nothing to find out who is after him. Jax is fighting his own battles, he feels useless and no longer enough for Gunnar. They will have to solve this before someone tries again.

I’ve not read a lot of MM romance but this author writes it really well. The storyline was brilliant. I have loved all of the dark master books so far and this was no different. The Love between Jax and Gunnar was obvious from the beginning and there was no way a controlling ex was going to get in between them

undeniable chemistry
Loved how this book is about an already established couple. There may not be any angst that you get with a new couple but there’s plenty of drama and stress on their lives and I thoroughly living it with them. Great writing, favourite of the series so far

What an awesome read right from the beginning! Such a page turner! What a perfect couple! Gunnar and Jax complete each other so well. Their connection and love for each other even after Jax is hurt, is electric. Both work for Dark Matter Security, and they are on a mission to find out who attacked Jax and why. Wait til you find out who it was and why! They certainly have some bumps in their relationship with Jack not liking to have to rely on others, but he’s trying. Gunnar just wants to make sure Jax is ok and whoever hurt Jax pays for what they did. Will Gunnar and Jax get through everything, and have a happy ending?

Jax and Gunnar are partners but also work together from DM. When Sudden Jax is attacked then for second time but worse. As the story goes we get the backstory of how they started then the present where they face challenges in their relationship. Although MM romance it was more about the struggles this couple faced due to things that happened with their jobs. The inadequacy, regret, helplessness, love, fear, and facing their past..
