He wasn’t looking for love.

Writer’s block is driving Tag crazy. To hide from his recently broken heart and to find inspiration, he finds himself in a place not even the GPS could find. Yet it seems the fates have a sick sense of humor as they push him into the path of one of the most infuriating men he’d ever meet.

But damn he’s gorgeous!

Gage just wants to be left alone. And falling for some city boy is not on his list of things to do. But what’s a guy to do when Tag is so beautiful and no matter what Gage does, the sexy author begins to seep under his skin? But there are demons chasing Gage, ones he doesn’t believe anyone should have to live with. Still, he craves Tag in ways that terrifies him.

Will Tag be able to see past Gage’s darkness?

And can Gage give himself permission to enjoy love again?

Tag escapes the city to overcome his writer's block and finds himself in a remote village where he spies Gage for the first time. Nothing like a little morning peeping on your neighbor to get your creative juices flowing.

Gage has been living in this village for a while hiding from the world after a cheating partner destroyed his belief in love. His work as an architect goes uninterrupted thanks to the convenient electricity and his installation of internet.

Tag and Gage spend a bit of time hyper aware of the other before they finally acknowledge they have feelings for the other. With supportive people around them in the village and Tag's parents, these two fools will fall in love.

But because nothing in a Thai BL is ever that simple... cue the angsty misunderstanding involving a random creeper/friend and the search for Gage's biological family. This was one very OTT family reunion, but in the end Gage finds remnants of his family and is welcomed by them. With the inclusion of his brothers, Tag's parents, and his own blood relatives, this book ends on a very lovely note.

well translated fun Thai romance

I’ve recently discovered Thai BL romances mostly while searching for the books the Tv shows are based off. The newer translations are actually pretty good and only a few homonyms and obvious errors are getting though so yay. This is a sweet story about an author and an architect with bad past relationships and how they fall for each other in a remote mountain village. There is minimal spicy scenes (alluded to and somewhat described but nothing graphic) and a typical 11th episode random trauma. However the overall story is nice and like most of Susu Khaa’ novels there is a HEA.
