You Can't Outrun Your Past

Everything is going Charlie's way. He's survived his first year at public high school, has made lifelong friends, and has a brand new record deal that will, hopefully, launch his music career for real. As always seems the case, misfortune strikes whenever things are going too well. Charlie’s life is turned upside down and his future plans are put in to jeopardy when a problem from his past returns. Charlie's only hope is that his family, and the support structure he's built, are strong enough to get him through this newest challenge; all while still facing the normal challenges of teenage life.

Can Charlie keep his life together or will it all come falling down around him?

another home run

I started reading the Country Roads series out of boredom one day. I was instantly hooked to the point that I actually kept refreshing my Amazon waiting on this to be available. Lovable yet flawed characters make for a great read as usual.

Wow No Sleep

This story of a young man who grew up on the gig road trying to be a normal teenager but is a super talented musician was fantastic. The football jocks and teachers want him out of school. So does his label.

A young man growing up fast and without the support of family. He grows in many ways while the systems have it against him. It’s the same story for most folks moving into a small towns where everyone knows everyone. Gripping story and hard to put down.

a great follow up

Travis writes real people. The scenes are a little stretches of the imagination sometimes, but the characters are real. That is the highest compliment I can make
