To say Lexa isn't thrilled when her new job offer requires her to have a physical is a bit of an understatement. Just the thought of stepping inside a doctor's office is enough to have her heart racing and her palms slick with sweat.
Dr. Darling's isn't just any doctor's office, though. This clinic caters solely to a very special clientele...
Littles.
And while the clinic itself is enough to ease some of her anxiety, it's the man who runs the place who truly calms her fears. Dr. Ronnie Shepard isn't just an amazing doctor—he's everything she could have asked for in a Daddy.
But when her jitters over their budding relationship turn into a full on panic that sends Lexa spiraling out of control, Ronnie will need all of his training both as a doctor and a Daddy to heal his darling Little girl's worst fears...
Simply wonderful read, great characters and wonderful scenario you’ll love every moment of
This is a simply wonderful read that you will be blown away by as you watch the way that patients that have been frightened away from their doctor’s surgery and they come across the surgery of Doctor Darling which is a totally innovative surgery.
Doctor Darling first meets Alexandra when she has made an appointment to get a health review completed so that she can apply for a new job, however she is terrified of anything to do with doctors but had come to this surgery but is ready to make a run for it at any time.
When she meets Dr Darling, she is instantly at ease with him and finds herself inadvertently calling him Doctor Dreamy much to his amusement, his nurse has notices that Alexandra is most definitely a Little that has been living without a Daddy for far too long, she needs this structure, support and when needed discipline.
As the Doctor is called on again to remove a splinter from a very delicate place and learns the story behind it he realises that he wants to care for her but is only able to do this if her permanent surgery care is handed over to another Doctor.
Whilst under his care and making new friends with the other Littles that attend the surgery, they make friends and also have regular things going on like craft events, colouring competitions and anything else that helps little to get use to visiting the surgery which in turn improves their health care.
There are plenty of laughs and funny situations along with the trials and tribulations of their Daddies and Mummies as they find their other halves if they are fortunate, along with the fun these littles get up to as and when they have their little get togethers.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This such an easy quick read I really enjoyed it and already know I’m going to love the whole series just by reading book 1! I wish this doc office was a real place the workers are so understanding and make things easier to handle. I for one not a fan of doc appointments they are definitely stressful among other things in real life plus it feels like they speak a different language. With this place the characters are well comfortable and make sure the guests/ patients understand everything that’s going on it doesn’t matter how long it takes. I was interested from beginning to end in this heartfelt, steamy read I love the instant connection between the two main characters! Along with the lady sassy side I couldn’t put this book down once I got started it’s definitely a keeper to me and makes me cave more right away! Doc darling is patient throughout this whole story that’s one of my favorite things in reading this cause as seems Lexa has had a hard time with lots of insecurities. He helps her see that she worth the effort it takes to help her overcome the negative obstacles going in her mind. This is cute loving forbidden romance book with amazing characters or look out for each other alongside people who need kindness, compassion, positivity, patience in their lives!
📖 Médecins, infirmières et aiguilles… Oh, mon Dieu !
I enjoyed this story. It was cute, it was sweet, and it moved quickly. Like a lot of age play books, the romance was quick and an instalove feel to it. In this one Alexandria is going to the doctor to get a physical for work. She has some major anxiety about doctors but this place is different. And she has an instant connection with her doctor. Ronnie also has an instant connection with her, but since he is her doctor he can’t do anything about it yet. Ronnie was great. He was soothing, he was patient, and he was oh so kind when he needed to be. And yes, in order to get together he stops seeing her as his doctor. This was a good, sweet story. I just struggled connecting with Alexandria. I really didn’t connect with her reactions to various different things so it was hard to connect with her. But she is well written. It’s a short story so you don’t get a whole ton of backstory, but you do see growth in Lexa which is wonderful. I thought it was great. I did receive an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Alexa needs a physical for her new job and even though she can not stand doctors, nurses or even the offices, she pumps herself to walk into The Little Darling Clinic. Everleigh is the head nurse and is fantastic with anyone who has high anxiety in regards to going to a doctors office. Eventually she meets the doctor and she calls him Dr Dreamy along with a few other names. He is a Daddy Dom and can see that Alexa is a little even if she does not realize it yet. He tries to communicate with her about certain things but unfortunately she does not listen and their first evening as a couple ends with her having a major melt down. All the characters in this book seem so real and genuine. In any relationship, Trust and Communication are the main subjects to pay attention to. Wonder if there will be a book with Everleigh as a little who is looking for her Daddy.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
This was an absolutely adorable story about Alexandria Lane who is a little, but has not explored her kink, when she goes to the doctor she doesn’t realise that she had booked an appointment at eight clinic that specialises in Daddy Dom/Little Boy/Girl treatments. Lexa is terrified of Doctors and when she goes to see Dr Darling, she recognises that his treatment is different from other doctors. When she is attracted to him, she is able to open up to him easier. Dr Darling also known as Ronnie Shepard, finds, Lexa adorable and is also attracted to her. This story tells her Lexa struggles to open up to her new Daddy, but he is patient and kind, and they work through her struggles for a happily ever after.
I was given a copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
Darling Little Lexa is a super sweet way to start a new series. Darling Little Lexa is book one in the new series, Doctor Darling's Clinic by Adaline Raine. Alexandria is a closet Little who moves around because she doesn't feel she belongs. On top of that she is terrified of doctors. Doctor Darling's Clinic is a medical center that is unique in who their patients are the way they are treated. Having to get a physical for A new job leads Alexandria to the clinic and the Daddy of her dreams. The only problem is Little Lexa always runs when life gets to overwhelming. Can Doctor Darling prove to Lexa that their bond is worth fighting for? Darling Little Lexa is a sweet and steamy read you do not want to miss. adaline-raine
Alexandria finds herself at Dr Darling's Clinic for a work physical. She hates going to the doctor, but happens upon the perfect clinic for her. They cater to Littles. Patient, kind and very handsome, Dr Darling knows she is his Little girl when he meets her. Now they just have a couple of issues to overcome, including Lexa's tendency to run when things get tough.
This is a great start to a new series. Lexa is bright, feisty and relatable. She has lots of baggage, but Dr Darling has what it takes to be her Daddy. The story is well-written and sweet, with lots of delicious steamy scenes. I really enjoyed it, and look forward to the next books in the series. There are a couple of characters that were introduced that I would love to see get their own happily ever afters.
I received an advance review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Alexandria just needed a physical for her new job. No one really likes to see the doctor’s office. However, this is no ordinary office. It is calming, open, and for littles. Dr. Darling didn’t expect to find his little. Certainly not a new patient. But he can’t try to date her and be her doctor, can he? I do love the whole office. Hell, I would LOVE to find a fun office like this. It would be easier on the mind and you can be free. Dr. Darling aka Ron is a sweet and patient man. He never pushes Alex. For her, she is learning about herself and what she wants. We also meet a few other players: Savannah and Everleigh. I thinks this is going to be a fun series. I’m looking forward to seeing who will be next to visit Dr. Darling’s office.
Alexandria ends up at Doctor Darling's clinic when she's required to get a physical for her new job. But this isn't just any clinic, it's one for Littles. Although she's never admitted this side of herself, the loving care she receives at the clinic not only treat her health issues, but allow her to explore her kinky side as well. Dr. Darling (real name Ronnie) is immediately attracted to Lexa, but he has to overcome her really bad self-esteem and her fears (both medical and kinky). There is some definite insta-love in this story, but consent reins over all. Lexa has to come to terms with all her issues, but thankfully love wins out in the ends.
I received a copy of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily leaving this honest, unbiased review.
Kudos to Adaline Raine for writing this wonderful story about a Submissive, Alexandria Lane, that is discovering she is also a Little. Alexandria is a woman that has a traumatic history. She is fearful of doctors. Most of all she is afraid that if she gives her heart to another she’ll be left alone and broken-hearted. A new job’s requirement that she get a physical sends her to Dr. Darling’s Clinic and it is there that she finds her Happily Ever After. This is a truly wonderful story. I could relate to it in so many ways and this is a series I’ll definitely follow. I was given an Advanced Review Copy (ARC) of this book and this review is a true assessment of my enjoyment of the story.
I like how Lexa is portrayed, although at times I wanted to sit her down and say 'hey, listen'. I further appreciated how her dramatic reactions had explanations that were realistic enough to mollify my sensibilities.
I wish more people had the patience and insight attributed to Dr. Darling's persona. He is the epitome of a caring, loving Daddy, just what every Little girl needs.
This series is shaping up to be a very entertaining, unique look into an unusual medical clinic, the staff and their guests.
This is actually the first book I’ve read from this author and I can say that I loved Ronnie. He was extremely patient with Lexa and I felt his punishments were fair, maybe even a little light actually. I struggled to like Lexa. While I understand she has previous issues, her mood swings were too much and almost of a self destructive nature of sorts. Not only does she need a strict Daddy, it almost seemed that she would benefit from counseling. I’m certainly interested in reading more from this author though.
A little different from what I am use to reading but it is still a good story.
This book has a little more medical stuff in it than I am use to reading but the main story is really worth tHe read. Alexandria has come to the Darling Clinic to get a physical for her new job. She didn't know it when she made the appointment that the clinic works with Littles right where she needed to be with all of her fears.we made a connection with the doctor. The problem is will she ruin her good thing before they even get started?
I liked Alexandria and how she ends up at Dr Darling's clinic. She was so sweet and I felt for her that she was having a hard time. I liked how great the staff was and how quickly Alexandria felt safe with Dr Darling. Alexandria definitely tried to sabotage her relationship before it got started but I am glad she was able to work through it with Ronnie. I liked this read. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
These two are so cute and sweet together. Little Lexa grows with the love and care of her Dr. Daddy. You have the sweet cuddly moments, the hot sexy moments, the Ouchi discipline moments and the oh so fun med action.
You need to jump into this new series now. This book is just the beginning of all the wonderful characters to come. Happy reading.
When Alexandria went to Dr. Darling’s clinic for a Physical for work she definitely did not expect to be treated with kindness and patience. Nurse Everleigh was amazing but Alexandria wanted to leave; then Dr Darling walked into the room & convinced her to stay. This was a sweet quick read,
This was such a heart-warming story to read. It was written in a way that you could feel all the emotions deeply. Being so vulnerable is a scary thing, but when you can turn it into being the happiest you have ever dreamed, it is an amazing feeling. This author was able to depict that in the best way possible.
Little Lexa is terrified of doctors and anything medical related. But she needs to see one for her new job. When she meets Dr. Darling at his amazing clinic, which I so love, she’s tempted more than ever to open up. This is such a sweet story about fighting your fears and finding that one person who completes you.
This is a good, well written, DD/lg romance with some medical play. The characters are interesting and likable. Lexa has recently moved and is getting a new job but needs a physical first. She meets Dr Darling/Dr Dreamy there. Each is interested but there are Doctor/patient rules. Read how they work things out including Lexa’s mind tricks.
i get that the female lead is a very anxious person, but damn, her moods change so fast that i got a whiplash. and i felt that some issues are just passed through just to end the issue. but oh well, that is just me.
When Alexandira goes to Dr Darling's clinic for a check up, she never imagined to fall for the handsome geek whom she calls Dr Dreamy. During their first meeting, Dr Darlings realises that she's a little and with love, care and trust they manage to find themselves.
Well! A short story about the difficulties in being different from everyone else. About the panic and relief when you find people just like you. It is a good story with a happy for now ending.
The lead female was so exhausting, she was incredibly difficult I just wish he was paired up better. To finally get a match for the doctor and to read that she is a flop is disappointing
Lexa and Dr. Darling have a sweet story. Lexa definitely falls into the bratty category but Dr. Darling handles her well. Even though there were times that I wanted to shake Lexa for some of her reactions. Overall this is a very enjoyable read that shows a great journey for the couple.
This is the first time I've ever read this author she was amazing. The characters were rich in life and baggage. Tears and fears yet the story and flow drew you in. I couldn't put it down. Check it out you wont be disappointed
May 2023 Okay... Honestly, I don't know what to write. The writing wasn't bad, but honestly there wasn't much story. Instalove, and lotsa spicy, while missing the important bits. I thought it was romance, but I'd say it skipped the relationship and skipped right to the spice.
I just chose this book out of curiosity. It met my expectations. I couldn't stop reading. I took every chance to sit and dive into the characters. It really draws you into a world most find taboo.
