North and Davina
As always Erin’s books will suck you right in at the first chapter
North might be the president of Colorado chapter of the Royal Devils. But I believe he met his match when it comes to this fierce and feisty woman called Davina……. If you are anything like me you’ll fall in love with these two amazing characters.

I think the writer has a lot of potential but this book was a mess. We have the H who is prez of a MC he’s a whore and sleeps with all the club girls but mostly the h’s sister. It said he trusts her to come to his house and we have a very detailed sex scene with her at the beginning of the book. The h calls her sister for a place to stay and the H lets her come stay at his house if she will feed his cat. They are instantly attracted but the h thinks he is with likes her sister. She is not totally wrong as he fucks her the most and as noted says he trusts her. From there it goes even more downhill. One minute he is staying at the house next he’s not that’s a house for those who need it. He wants the h but doesn’t want the h. There is a gross scene where he is feeling bad cause the h won’t admit her feelings again due to her sister that he is at the clubhouse and he snorts coke gets wasted tries to fuck the sister who tells him don’t do this to her sister even though she wants him it was strange and the opposite of how she was acting before coming on to him. He then goes to another club girl and his brothers pull him away and take him home to the h who takes care of him. She does not find out what he tried to do so not sure why that was even in there. They sleep together again but the h is still resistant. The sister is causing issues the H wants to send her to another chapter so she says if you do I’m going too. It made no logical sense. Then someone tries to hurt the h another brother who wanted her and someone was helping him and you could see it was going to be the sister. Of course it is they send her away and it’s six months later HFN. the plot was not consistent there was repetitive scenes and conversations. There was no real development of the characters. The being with both sisters was just gross honestly.

North is the President of the Royal Devils MC. He is used to having women all over him, if he speaks everyone listens and he is not prepared for his new roommate Davina. Davina knows she has a temper, it is the reason she is now in need of a new place to stay. Being North's roommate really only has one big rule, take care of the cat he claims is not really his. Tempers flare, North's patience is pushed and North begins to look at Davina as if she is his whole world. Not everyone is happy though with the closeness Davina and North have, will it cause trouble between them?
This was fun, I would have liked it to be a bit longer though. I liked that Davina didn't fawn all over North, she has her own opinions and has no problem sharing them with North. He gets and I really enjoyed this part of the story. Great read.

It's so bad
This is absolute garbage. The writing was horrible, the characters are awful, the story doesn't really make sense, and the constant drama is ridiculous. I finished it because I hate leaving a book unfinished but it was hard.

DNF @ 54% - I’m pretty sure this was the worst thing I’ve ever read 🫣🫠 I pushed through as far as I did because it was honestly making me giggle a little bit at times. Listen, I’m not usually this harsh, but this was truly horribly written 🤦🏼♀️ if you liked it, that’s totally fine but for me, it was a hard no 😑
I don’t think a single person looked at this book to edit it. There were so many typos and grammatical errors that it was hard to overlook and just focus on the story. North was a piece of shit. I understand that there’s a certain culture to motorcycle clubs that is very macho, and at times puts women down. But there was literally nothing at all positive or redeeming about this guy. I mean, he said it early on that he doesn’t like animals so I should’ve known right then and there that he wasn’t gonna be a character I could root for at all!
I mean at one point he says that he doesn’t hit women, but then he admits to what his essentially emotional abuse and gaslighting. Later on closer to the 50% mark, he chokes Addy. So apparently punching a woman is too far, but choking her is fine for him 🫤 I can’t get behind a character like that.
Davina’s personality was very flip-flopping 🙃 some of the things she said and did contradicted previous things that she said and did. So I’m really not sure who she’s supposed to be as a character 🤷🏼♀️
Together they were just lacklustre and flat. It was almost like they were caricatures or placeholders 🤔 I couldn’t root for either of them and I didn’t see anything even remotely close to chemistry between them.
Needless to say, I don’t really understand the higher ratings for this book, but each their own. This book wasn’t for me. I can’t imagine trying any more of Trejo’s work either.

The writing was incoherent, lacked depth and emotion.
I don't think the author knows what a true Alpha us like because North was not one of those. He was an A$$HOLE, who lacked any idea what consent means. He forced his decisions on Davina repeatedly.
He also, even though it wasn't deliberate, led Addy on by trusting her in his space, having sex with her frequently and doing favors for her. He treated her more like a FWB than a whore. He did not keep boundaries between them so she knew without a doubt that her place was just as a whore.
Davina was a weak willed wishy washy doormat and a whore as well. He behavior with and towards North was NO DIFFERENT than that of her sister's. She kissed 2 of the men within minutes of each other at the same party in the clubhouse. How is that not being a whore? She even went as far as getting to her knees in the middle of the clubhouse to suck him off, typical whore behavior.
I saw no relationship or character development in the main characters at all.
The club acted more like a frat house than a true MC club.
This was a disappointing read.

This is a great continuation of the Royal Devil MC. The characters are all giant pains in the butts, but also stubborn and alpha all the way.
Davina has been i. The shadow of life, because she has been bullied by her mother, her sister and everyone else. She has self confidence issues and doesn’t believe anyone could want her for herself or that she is beautiful.
North is President and a grouchy set in his ways man, who give no cares about anyone except his club and a cat he claims to hate.
When they meet, they are attracted but Davina thinks he is with her sister and can’t be interested in her. The more they are together they slowly give in North more then Davina. When there is a threat to Davina and North, he will stop at nothing to find the threat, take it out and make sure Davina is ok.
Set back and enjoy the ride between these two strong willed people. It borders on a laugh a minute with interaction between these two, but in a good way.

I guess if you like it quick and dirty you will like this book.
This book was terrible. I guess if you like it quick and dirty you will like this book.
But it is terrible, the story is half-assed, there is next to no description at all. And instead of a nice flow when reading, it did feel like you just jumped from one sentence to another. There is also several plot holes, like the author mid book decided to do something else and just forgot to change what she already had written

Davina is now homeless since her boyfriend broke up with her by text and with her sister working as a club girl for the RBMC and has an in with North Davina is now North’s new roommate. With the people in her life, she has never felt any self-worth which drives North crazy.
Oh, my what a hot book with a man who knows how to bring out the best in a woman who thinks she is unworthy. If that isn’t enough the twists and turns and the drama made this a book I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. This author always delivers.

When Davinas ex breaks up with her via text and kicks her out she turns to her sister Addy. Addy is a club girl at the Colorado chapter of the Royal Devils MC. North is president of the MC. Addy asks North if her sister could move into his house and be roomies, he agrees. Soon sparks fly and so do the feelings. North and Davina are a match. They are dealing with her insecurities, outside threats and their feelings for each other. I loved this couple, they are witty, fun and stand up for what they believe in.

North and Davina are fantastic characters. But of course in a good book about MC's there has to be some action. Davina is one heck of a match for North. He may be the Prez of the MC but Davina will give him a run for his money on weather she will take orders from him or if she will make demands of her own.

Davina freshly dumped by her ex and told to find somewhere else to live is livid, he did it by text, her sister Addy who is a club girl for the Royal Devils asks North if he still needs a house share and that's how she came to live at the Prez's house and under his radar but she's insecure and can't see why he thinks her beautiful. He's not the only one and someone is taking pot shots, lethal ones.

Davina was so grateful that her sister, Addy, knew someone that needed a roommate just when she needed a new place to stay. What Davina and North didn’t expect was the instant attraction between them. North is all alpha and not used to having feelings for someone so when he meets Davina he’s all kinds of messed up. Strange attacks start to happen and North and the rest of the guys are stumped. Betrayal, jealousy and taking chances are what this is all about.

I disliked Davina's character so much. While North was no great fellow at least he remained true to his character, violent, demanding and unlikable really. Yet Davina was so wishy washy. She will...she won't...she will again..she can..she can't..she can again.
Her complete about turn regarding her sister had no basis. She knew what she was, stuck by her constantly yet... It made no sense.

I LOVE IT!!!! North has met his match in the fierce and fiesty Davina. She gives as good as she gets and takes NOTHING from no one. North gets himself all twisted up over Davina and it's funny how he stomps around the clubhouse and the guys give him so much grief. Of course it's not without trouble and this trouble comes in a surprising form. North is a great, fast paced, one sitting read!

Ugh the FL was a total indecisive idiot with the most convoluted thoughts, and the back & forth of wanting the ML or sticking by her whore sister (who was fucked up to the max) was beyond annoying. Should have listened to the reviews about the FL being a mess and making this story really unenjoyable.

I had high hopes for this but they weren't met. This is a surface story with no depth. The summary talks about always coming second to her sister, but you never really see that except for one tiny mention that her mom tells her she's fat.
There's potential in this story, but to be really good it needs a ton more emotion.

Disappointing read
I rarely post negative reviews, but this author’s writing style is definitely not for me. The storyline is weak, dialogue is very poorly done, and the interactions between the main characters is crass at best. The male lead is terribly written. This isn’t what I expect in an MC romance. I won’t be reading this author again.

I FLOVE IT!! O.M.F.G this was freaking awesome. Once I started I couldn’t stop. This took a few twists I wasn’t expecting and it made this that much better. I absolutely love North and Davina. I can’t wait for Bones next. 🖤🔥💀🔥🖤

I loved this book. It had me glued to the pages from the beginning. North and Davina's story surprised me. These two are opposites that attract who fit very well together. I liked the tidbit of drama, the action, the push and the pull of the characters, and the twists.

I wanted to love this, but it fell short for me. While the MC vibes were gritty, the sister-against-sister conflict was frustrating and hard to root for. Even North himself was difficult to like at times—his behavior leaned more toward "toxic" than "alpha protector." It’s a pass for me on this one.
