I normally enjoy this author’s books. This book just lacked her usual flair. I found the main character Kingsley a little unbelievable. This woman plucked my nerves time and time again. When she reaches out for help from her old boyfriend, she keeps refusing to listen to his advice, keeps trying to handle things on their own without backup, and takes some of the stupidest chances I think a ordinary citizen would ever take. Very stubborn and hardheaded doesn’t begin to describe her. Overall, the story was well written, just lacking in the believable department.

We are back in the Pacific Northwest with Deadly Sabotage, the newest Honor Protection Specialists story by author Elizabeth Goddard.
This time we focus on brother Brett Honor, who we catch up with him on the Washington coast while he’s taking some much needed (despite his own objections to it) time off. He receives a phone call from chemical biologist Kinsey Langell, someone he never thought he’d hear from again after breaking her heart several years prior. But Kinsey is in big trouble and needs his help.
Who killed her boss, and why? How long before the killers realize she didn’t die with him? Can she and Brett solve this mystery while not knowing who is safe to turn to for help? Will the old feelings they once shared come back? So many questions! Find out in this fantastic inspirational suspense!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

Overall, a great story. In my opinion, just not the best from this author. Elizabeth is one of my favorite authors and this book was a let down compared to her other books. Too many unbelievable chances taken by the main characters and several creative liberties taken that were a struggle to believe as being possible.

With non-stop action and compelling suspense, this story just didn’t let me go until I reached the satisfying conclusion. Kinsley Langell is a curious and professional microbiologist who barely escapes with her life when her lab is blown up. With the assistance of former beau Brett Honor, Kinsley is determined to investigate who is behind the destruction and who wanted her and her boss dead. These two make a formidable team with some sharp and witty dialogue as they seek to discover the truth while evading the villains who want Kinsley dead, no matter the cost. The characters are relatable and realistic, the plot is fast-paced and the storyline is believable and horrifying at the same time. I really enjoyed how intrepidly driven Kinsley was to continue to do research in spite of the danger she finds herself in. I also enjoyed how Brett was a “johnny-on-the-spot” hero, ready and willing to do whatever was necessary to keep Kinsley safe. This is a book that is hard to put down and a twisted mystery with some breath-stopping suspense scenes. The romance is warm and right under the surface as the two work together and discover their feelings for each other, with suspense and romance woven seamlessly together along with a foundation of faith. Loved every minute with this book and highly recommend it!

This was a good book with lots of action and suspense.
Kinsley Langell works in a lab doing research. As she leaves work one evening the building explodes killing her boss and almost killing her! Then she overhears people talking and she was believed to be killed also. She realizes these are the killers and she has to run and hide. She needs help but who can she call? She calls her ex boyfriend who is a protection specialist, Brett Honor. Will Brett come to her rescue and be able to keep her safe? Will they find out what is going on and why someone wants to kill her?

I liked the book, love the author. I do recommend reading this book.
My own opinion I wish the characters would a little smarter. I felt the hero and heroine did some stupid things that compromised their safety.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Deadly Sabotage. This is book three in the series Honor Protection Specialists. I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth's work so I'm always thrilled to get a new book in the mail. This book is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

Microbiologist Kinsley Langell is working late at the Stevens Lab. For some reason she feels an unease about being here alone tonight. Her boss comes rushing through, he seemed excited but also stressed. He sends her home. As she stands outside looking for her keys the building explodes and she flies into the brush. Before she can get up and figure what's happened she hears two men talking. They are telling someone that both victims are dead. They think they've killed her. One says he has a friend in the PD that will list it as an accident.

Security Expert Brett Honor is shocked to receive a call from his ex. Why would she call? He broke things off three years ago. When he asked her why she has called she tells him she has died tonight. She explains the explosion and her need to have help to live.

A terrifying journey to stay ahead of the killers and find out why they had killed Max. God has a plan for these two a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction. Give God your heart and watch Him move in your life.

I have enjoyed this series a lot. However, this one was a little different than the others in that it didn't involve the whole Honor Protection family team. It mostly just involved Brett, with some help from his sister, Everly. Kinsley Langell is a microbiologist, and she escapes a deadly explosion at her lab. She has to go on the run because everything is compromised so she calls her old boyfriend, Brett. He's shocked to hear from her since it's been years! They seem to be found out everywhere they go. There is a lot of action, which is usual for this author's books!
I really liked Brett's character as I have all the Honor siblings. I didn't really like Kinsley's character though. She bordered on obnoxious at times! She was the one that came to Brett for help but then she rarely listened to him! He wanted to bring in his family's help since they are experts, but she wouldn't let him. Understandable at first but then many times she either decided herself what they were going to do instead of Brett deciding or went off on her own. Still an enjoyable story but I would have liked a better heroine!

One look at the cover of Deadly Sabotage and you know that there's an exciting story waiting inside! An explosion in a lab sends Kinsley Langell on the run and the only person she can turn to is the man who once broke her heart. Is she foolish to place her trust in Brett Honor one more time?

Author Elizabeth Goddard spins another intriguing story in this third book of her Honor Protection Specialists series that's set in the Pacific Northwest. There are twists, turns, and baffling clues, but there's also the chance for Brett to repair his relationship with Kinsley. So, find your favorite reading spot and just imagine that beautiful Mt. Rainier is outside your window. I recommend Deadly Sabotage to all who enjoy adventure, suspense, and second-chance romance!

I received a complimentary digital copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review. These are my thoughts.

Deadly Sabotage by Elizabeth Goddard is the 3rd book in her Honor Protection Specialists series. It starts off with Kinsley Langell & her boss Max in their lab. As Kinsley leaves to go home, she's knocked down by a sudden explosion. The lab has gone up in smoke and she barely escapes as the killers think she and her boss were killed inside. She has no one to call or trust except her ex-boyfriend from years ago. Brett Honor makes it his mission to help the girl who's heart he broke. As they go on the run from the hitmen, they need to find the evidence of who is behind her boss's murder and why? Can they figure this out and all the feelings they are having before it's too late?
It was so nice to visit the Honor Protection Specialists with Mt Rainier's majestic view right outside their window. I love reading about each sibling and seeing them find love. As always this was another page-turner by Elizabeth Goddard. She didn't know who to trust and it made it hard to search for evidence. There was no epilogue, but the ending was very happy. I was smiling the whole time. I can't wait to read book #4 in this series. Every single one of them as been excellent so far. It's christian romantic suspense at its best. I've been given a copy but all opinions are my very own.

Deadly Sabotage by Elizabeth Goddard is part of her Honor Protection Specialists series from Love Inspired Suspense.

This is a page-turning story with an intricate plot and interesting characters. A second chance romance with plenty of intrigue. I enjoyed the chemistry between microbiologist Kinsley Langell and protection specialist Brett Honor. And I especially loved the scene in the woods because I adore a forced proximity situations and this one … well, when you read it, you’ll see why I loved it.

If you enjoy Love Inspired suspense, then don’t miss this one!

Elizabeth Goddard
Deadly Sabotage is the third book in the Honor Protection Specialists series. Can he forget the hurt past and help Kinsley, and try to keep her safe too? I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This is another excellent book that I enjoyed greatly. I like series that have at least some of the same characters throughout.

From the cover:
"A fatal explosion hides a lethal conspiracy.

After barely escaping a lab explosion that kills her boss, microbiologist Kinsley Langell discovers that the blast was no accident-someone intentionally set off a bomb. With a target on her back and the police compromised, Kinsley must rely on her ex, protection specialist Brett Honor, to help investigate the crime. But someone won't stop until she's silenced-this time permanently. Can Kinsley and Brett uncover the culprit before hired killers finish the job?"

The latest story by Elizabeth Goddard will take you for a wild ride! When Kinsley Langell narrowly misses being killed in an explosion and overhears the killers talking afterwards, she only trusts her ex-boyfriend Brett Honor to call. As Brett helps Kinsley find answers, things continue to go from bad to worse. If you like to try figuring out the clues in a mystery, this is the book for you. But be warned, there is quite a twist at the end! Plus, you may learn a thing or too. I received an advance copy from the author but all opinions are my own.

Deadly Sabotage is an excellent clean romantic suspense novel. It has well written suspense with twists and turns that the reader doesn’t see coming. Microbiologist Kinsley Langell calls on protection specialist, Brett Honor to help her following an explosion at the lab where she works. This book is an edge of your seat and heart pounding read that blends romance and faith into the story perfectly. I highly recommend Deadly Sabotage.
My thanks to the publisher and author for an ARC of this book. I was only asked for an honest review. The opinions stated here are mine.

A bit too much “too stupid to live” angle, alongside a complete lack of copy editing which left some sentences completely unreadable (although calling the guy’s brothers his “bothers” did earn a laugh), cheapened what enjoyment I got out of trying to figure out the mystery.

It was great. A lab explosion that kills her boss that she escaped. She hears men say she should have died in there also. Now with a target on her back can she find the culprit before hired killers find her.

I expected to connect with this one because the female main character, Kinsley, is a microbiologist like me. I didn’t really connect and ended up skimming the book.
It felt superficial. Both the interactions of Kinsley and Brett and the way the science was treated.

Good book, but lots of repetition - oh, I'm still in love with him but he hurt me..... Oh, I'm still in love with her, but I hurt her and gotta work on me.....
Actual story was good. Not a lot of action.

Story premise good, but...

The female character was annoying. The skirmishes with the antagonists were long and convoluted. The ending was a abrupt. The ending did not satisfy, and I felt I wasted my time.
