interesting

A different take on shifter romance. The beginning had me enraptured but towards the middle and end it just seemed rushed to me.
In this world male omegas aren’t able to get pregnant. Which is a different take but what I question about the book is that they say that make omegas are rare and are worth more than female omegas but why would they be important if nothing else? I wished we had more background on that.
How archer and Jude came together at the end was ok I just wanted more. The I love you were just rushed without any real background build up. We never hear about Jude’s past again like if his parents or siblings ever came looking for him again. I know archer has a reputation but we never get into depth with it again and with his social anxiety we never get to read it solved. Just alot of character depth that went out the window.

Such a sweet story!

Ok I knew I would love Archer from the moment he was introduced in book 1, but this book solidified it! Archer and Jude’s story is sad but beautiful. They truly bring out the best in each other and healed the other in ways neither expected! This book is MLM and I think the author did a good job of showcasing the dynamics between the characters without playing into the usual stereotypes. I love how neither partner is what you would expect but exactly what the other needs.

Okay this was such an emotional short read 🥺 I like the relationship between Archer and Jude. Their relationship seemed more of a process and really liked it. I also like how the other characters are still apart of it too. It just took me a day to read and loved ever part of it! The only think is that my kindle glitch out and some sentences ran together so it was hard to read at some time.

From the first meeting with Archer I couldn't wait for his story. There was something about this devoted loner that I just wanted him to have his happily ever after, even if he is too stubborn to take it at first. This might be my favorite so far of the novellas. Everything they go through in such a short read, all the emotions their story brings makes you love these two men so much.

This one is my favourite so far. I loved Archer from the second I met him in book one, and couldn’t wait to get to his story! Elle did not disappoint me. I was swallowed up by the pain and suffering both our MCs experienced throughout the years. Archer is a big strong Alpha who’s constantly trying to shrink himself to fit into some preconceived mold of what other people expect and want of him. Jude has been dealt a terrible hand in life, essentially being slapped full force because he put his trust and caring into the hands of someone who should have shown him nothing but the utmost respect and care. Both men have suffered, and are suffering still. The idea that they are meant for each other…. How could it be possible?! Ugh absolutely loved it. My heart stopped a few times from sheer panic, but don’t worry, Elle brings us back from the brink of devastation… eventually. 5/5, can not wait for the next one in the series!!!!

This was my favourite novella in the series so far.
Archer is a character that got my attention as soon as I read about him in book 1. Reading his story in Wild has been great. It's a MM romance filled with love, longing, trauma, action and spice.
It's a quick read and if you love a spicy shifter story: check out this novella (and the others in the Cypress Ridge series)

This is the third book in the Cypress Ridge Novella series. This book follows Jude and Archer and how their story unfolds. This quick read is full of action, Heartache and Love. This is a MM Romance.

Jude is a captive for many years after his parents threw him out because he is a Male Omega. Not only is abused and unloved he has been unable to shift. He resigned himself to this sad existence. Until he's Rescued by Archer and Jude's Wolf instantly knows that archer is his Mate.

This is a short story and a very quick read. It is a great story with some spice thrown in what more could you need!

Love these quicks reads by Elle Stager. The Cypress Ridge is a great shifter novella series.

Jude has been held captive for years. He doesn’t even remember how to shift into his wolf. He fears this is now his life until he is rescued. Archer has rescued two Omegas and is now taking them back to Cypress Ridge.

This is a MM romance where it is two broken people who need to heal. I love their storyline. These novellas are short and almost feel like insta love but they are shifters who rely a lot of their animal instincts and finding their mate so it works.

There is a little plot that goes along with the story but it’s also a quick plot. If you’re not watching for it you’ll miss it.
