Since the second book in the series was by a different author,and she offered it for free via bookfunnel,i decided to give it a shot.
The blurb sounded good,with the MC prez’s daughter Remi having a stalker,and turning for help to the only man she’s ever loved,the MC’s enforcer,Kade.
What i got was a story that focussed on them finding their way in the new dynamic.
As soon as Kade saw the confirmation Remi was a Little,all bets were off.
She called him,and he was going to take care of her,make sure she was safe and cared for.
That stalker didn’t stand a chance against him and the MC.
Getting her to let her Little out,and call him Daddy was a dream come true.
And Remi was letting her out more as she started to understand the men didn’t think she was weird.
This was the main portion of the story,the danger was in the background,mentioned just a moment or two.
And when the stalker díd manage to take her,Kade and the MC caught up before i could even blink my eyes.
Did i enjoy the story?
Not as much as i’d hoped for,sadly.
And i think i’m saying goodbye to the series.
It probably is a case of it’s me…..and i do hope there are others that find what they’re looking for in this story.

One and Done
I like the characters of Kade and Remi. They are good for each other. For me there is just somethings that fall a little flat. An MC woman becomes an Ol’ Lady, not Old Lady. That terminology means a lot. Also I was expecting more of a reaction from Rock. I feel like Remi’s father was an afterthought. This would have been better if they were regular guys and not MC members. I did not read book 1, Steele’s book and have no plans to read anymore.

I wasn't hoping for much more than some half assed characters with too much chemistry to ignore and some steamy sex scenes. Even those hopes were dashed too. The storyline is predictable and bland, and the characters even more so. I was hoping that with Remi being 'goth' her little side would be more alternative than the usual pink, blushing princesses of the genre, but we got that too. The whole age-gap and 'dad's friend' weren't enough of a tension/taboo point for me, and Remi and Kade lacked believable chemistry. It felt a lot like a first time writer trying out an idea on Wattpad. The romance wasn't that romantic, the stalker wasn't that scary, the sex wasn't that hot and the characters weren't that authentic or likeable... which is probably why I skimmed the rest of the book after the first few chapters. I might try some of this author's other books, but probably not any others by her in this series as only one book in it feels very flat and forced, like the publishing company gave her a deadline and word count to aim for with little care of its actual content (or convincing lack of). It's a shame because there really is a world of possibility out there when it comes to sexy, tatted men on motorcycles, but this wasn't one of them for me. 2/10.

I enjoyed reading this, but wish that the danger had been more exciting.
Remi and Kade (He’s the Mc’s enforcer.) have liked each other for years, but never acted in it. As Remi is a club princess as her dad is an older member, Kade has never done anything out of respect for her dad. Also he thinks Remi doesn’t like him and that she’s not a little.
When Remi is in danger from a stalker, she contacts Kade, as her dad has been ill and she doesn’t want to worry him. When Kade realises that a, Remi is a little, and b, that she really likes him, all the gloves are off.
I’ve been struggling with books lately. I start one then get bored and move onto the next. So this one really engaged me as I did actually finish it.
There are however a few complaints.
1. It’s not long enough. At 214 pages long, it has to move really fast. So they’re madly in love within a few pages.
2. The excitement never really comes to anything. After building up the tension really well, it’s mega disappointing, how fast the danger is resolved. Again this is because the book is so short it has to cram it all in.

Loved 😍 😍 awesome story
Kate Oliver is one of my all-time favorite authors. I have never read a book of hers I've disliked. And this one is no exception. Another win. It is book 2 in the Shadowridge Guardians MC series that she is doing with other authors. Steele is book one . This is Kade and Remi. Kade is kind of the enforcer or protector, and Remi is the MC princess, not of the president, just of one of the members. She grew up there. She hides she is a Little, thinks everyone will look at her as she is weird even though the MC are Daddies and are looking for their Littles. She has something happen, and the first person she calls is Kade, and he rides in on his motorcycle to the rescue and protects her. I was so wrong on the culprit. I recommend reading Kate Oliver's Daddies of the Shadows before this series. Even though you don't have to, there is a mention in there about them.

Kate Oliver burst into my reading world with her Daddies of the Shadows series. I quickly fell in love with them all and then went to look for her other books. By now, I've read them all and they are sooo good. Kade is the second book in a new series with authors Pepper North and Becca Jameson. Anyone want some MC Daddies? I loved Kade. He's been checking out Remi for awhile now but he's not quite sure she's a Little. Remi is like a "goth" girl but she is hiding who and what she really is. When threats start coming in, she turns to Kade. Oh the fun begins then. I won't spoil this any further but this is a fun story packed with some action and steamy scenes sure to set your e-readers on fire. You also get to see Steele and Atlas in this story and other characters that I know we'll be getting stories for! I'm loving all of these books and I can't wait to read more in this series!!!

he would not act on it one he was 13 years older than her, her father Rock was his best friend & she hated him; at least he thought she did. Remi was receiving creepy letters & she wasn’t too worried about them until the latest one that was left on her porch contained photos of her in her own home. She called the one person she knew she could trust & would protect her even though he didn’t like her & that person was Kade.
Come on this crazy crazy love story filled with danger & love; and Remi is reminded the men of the Shadowridge Guardians take care of their own & any little in danger. Find out if Rock gives Kade his blessing when it comes to Remi. Love this series

Remi is MC royalty. She is Rock’s daughter and has been around the Shadowridge Guardians all her life. She the little goth girl that they all love and protect. Kade has taken notice of Remi since she turned 21 but he knows he needs to stay hands off with here. When disturbing messages are left scaring Remi there is only one person she knows to call for help, Kade. He certainly isn’t about to let anyone hurt her. And he knows that she is his Little. He will protect what is his. I love that Remi is a goth princess. It is so cute. You have to love it. I get not wanting to let Rock know but you know that will never turn out well. These two are a cute pair. Kade may be a bit much because he is the clubs Enforcer but he sure knows how to protect and love his girl. The creeper got what he deserved. You have to love a strong woman.

If you love a fast-paced romance with both characters obsessed with each other then this is a great book for that. There were moments that were a little too fast-paced but it was fun and flirty and Kane said all the right things. It was big improvement from the first book in the series and had heaps more aspects of age-play in it. Could have used a little more but I understand they were making up for lost time.
The plot took a turn that I had not expected but I really liked that, and I really liked that she was super “weak”, she actually fought and he supported that. I also really liked getting to know a different side to Ivy and Steele in this book, as well as the up and coming MMCs.
Looking forward to the next book in the series. I have been wondering about Carlee and it’ll be nice to get to know Atlas.

I’m a lover of this new MC series and when you mix in Daddies and Littles, it makes it even better! This story was delightful and steamy. Kade is every woman’s dream, especially to Remi, an MC Princess. They have known each other for a long time but neither ever acted on their feelings for each other until Remi started to be threatened. Then watch out, Kade became all alpha Daddy and would do anything to protect her. Remi is a true breath of fresh air. She made me laugh and I wanted to just jump thru the pages and hug her! Kade and Remi are perfect for each other and I enjoyed reading about their burgeoning relationship. Let’s not forget to mention the super sizzling chemistry between them! My kindle almost caught on fire! This is a definite must read!

Kate Oliver has quickly become one of my go to authors. As soon as I see that she has released a new book, I run to grab it. Kade was no exception. Ms. Oliver has branched out into a new series about MC Daddies and this book does not disappoint. I am a sucker for the tough dangerous man who turns into a marshmallow for the right woman and Kade is that and more. Remi is very similar, tough and hard on the outside but a soft adorable little on the inside. They were perfect together. Ms. Oliver has not only created two very appealing characters, but she also has some amazing secondary characters that I hope will get their HEAs soon. The story itself was also top notch. Just enough drama to keep me turning the pages. There is just so much to like in this book.

I love this genre and Ms. Oliver does it well! Remi was born into the MC and is hiding her little with a goth look. Kade has been watching her grow and as she reaches 21 he has become enamored with her. The story is packed full of so much emotion! Her characters are so well written that you can feel their fear as letters are delivered and threats are made. Add in some steamy sex and a few spankings and you have one totally HOT and thrilling story. I loved the character development and the introduction to other characters in the series as it helps us get to know the group as a family. This book is the second book in this series and it will not disappoint! It’s a five star read for sure!

This is the 2nd book (but Kate's first) of the Shadowridge Guardian MC series. If you have not read Steele by Pepper North I highly suggest starting there. I thought I knew sorta what to expect from this series as a long time reader of Kate's. I have always loved her writing. This series is a refreshing change from her typical stories. I loved it! It's honestly her best yet and I am thrilled to see how it overlaps with both Becca Jameson and Pepper North books as well. This is an amazing start to the series! I loved that this story featured a gothy Little with the secret obsession for the color pink. It was adorable!

Kade is the Enforcer. of the Shadowridge Guardians MC but to Remi it means that he is a protector and she needs one. There is a stalker leaving notes and worse for Remi. She seeks protection from Kade as her father is recovering from a heart attack and doesn’t need the stress. Taking care of Remi, protecting her from her stalker forces them to admit the attraction that has been simmering between them for years.
This is a sweltering DD/lg romance that will leave you smiling. Kade may be a burly, tattooed biker but he is a big ol teddy bear for Remi. Remi is a walking advertisement for don’t judge a book by its cover. I loved them both.

Kade is the Enforcer of the Shadowridge Guardians and takes his job very seriously. Remi is the daughter of a member and has grown up in the club. She has been trying to stay away since she’s gotten older because she doesn’t want to see Kade. She gets bratty every time she see’s him. She knows Kade hates her but when she gets into some trouble he is the first person she calls.
Kade has tried to keep his distance from Remi, he doesn’t understand why she hates him. So when Remi needs him and he finds out her secret, Kade can no longer stay away. This can’t be happening with Remi of all people.

Kade and Remi are one of my all time favorite Couples in this entire series! Their chemistry is absolute fire and the banter between them throughout this entire series is perfect! While most of these books follow the same pattern. Once these guys find or realize they have met their "Little" they are done. It's like they imprint and BOOM it's over. They just know. While it might be far fetched - in this series it works.
Remi has grown up in the MC, her dad being one of the older members of the club. To watch her and Kade finally admit their love for one another is really fun. They are one couoe I would love to see another book for!

Wow wow wow wow! We all know that Littles come in all different shapes and sizes but Remi is awesome! She goes from goth, black clothes and makeup to pink fluffy and everything girly. Kade is her perfect match. Liking her from the very first time he saw her, he knew she was his. When trouble comes her way, she runs to him for protection. This series is darker than Kate's normal but if you're up for something on the darker side but still want everything that a DD/lg book has, look no further. This series is for you.

The Shadowridge Guardians are fast becoming one of my favorite motorcycle clubs. Kade and Remi are the perfect couple. I absolutely love this book! Kade is the perfect combination of possessive and gentle. When Remi finds herself in danger, she has no choice but to ask the MC enforcer for help. They have to be honest with themselves, and each other so that Kade can protect Remi. Can they do that, and find their HEA??? Find out more by getting a copy of this fantastic book! I absolutely adored Remi and how she was this goth girl with a secret love of all things pink. She felt as if she had to hide who she was because these two sides of her didn't seem to go together. Kade had always been attracted but he would never be able to suppress that Daddy part of him and he was worried about losing his friend, Remi's dad. I loved these two together and how Kade really allowed Remi to be her authentic self. The author did a great job of giving the readers many possible bad guys so we were kept guessing. I love these stories so far and I'm looking forward to more.

After Pepper North's Steele and the huge disappointment it was for me, I was not at all hopeful going into Kade. Kate Oliver hands down is carrying the series imo. Why collaborate with authors who can't deliver the goods?! However, Kade is really Kate Oliver to go to script with all her books. It's a delicious read, but it's been done before. I really wish these authors would just get out of their comfort zone and give us something to really chew on and stop carrying other authors in collaborations.

I loved the shadowridge mc. Made is considered the enforcer. He is also a daddy looking for his little. Remi is the daughter of Rock who is apart if the mc. However, she is secretly in love with Kade. When she gets threading letters he's her first call. The decide to stay together and find out who's targeting her. When he figures out she is a little he can't wait to make her his. Only one problem Rock may not approve and she thinks it will kill him. Love always finds a way. This book was hot and smoldering from start to finish.

I love a story about a biker who shows the softer side only to his woman. And Kade is just like this. He’s the enforcer for his MC group and while he is not the grump of the group, it’s really only Remi that brings out his soft protective side. And it was sweet. I thought it was funny how each that the other didn’t like them for years, when in fact they’ve each been pining for each other. And those truths quickly come to light when Remi needs protection from a stalker and Kade is right there to help. Loved the story, loved the tension, and love the spice between them.

If you love Kate Oliver books (as I do), then look no further than Kade as your next read. This book is extremely well written with the older MC biker quietly watching Remi grow into the Little Goth Princess she is. This book is full of drama, emotion, heat and action as trouble comes calling. It has strong development of the characters and found families. Lots of quirky Little surprises to catch the interest too. Another Kate Oliver triumph.

This book has the perfect cover to fit this storyline. They both had feelings for each other, but didn’t think the other one even liked them, yet they were faithful. That’s just true love waiting for the perfect moment. In her time of need, she reached out to him, and he was there for her, and he got to see the real her, and she got to see the real him too. Add some drama, and it reminded them just how special what they have with each other is. Loved the ending.
