Kirk Jockell loves stories. Growing up with ADD--nobody knew what it was way back then--his imagination ran wild. Little stories constantly danced through his head. His Mom would say, “He lives in his own little world.” Over Fifty-three years later, he still does. The only exception is, now he puts his little world on paper. He wishes he had done so sooner.

Kirk sleeps most nights in Flowery Branch, Georgia but considers Port St. Joe, Florida as home. He is an avid sailor, a photographer of sailboats, and a lover of small batch bourbon. He lives with his wife Joy, Dixie, the smartest dumb dog in the world, and a black cat named Stormy that pukes a lot.

Nigel makes life changing decisions for himself…… and others.

Kirk Jockell delivers his best Nigel Logan story of the series.

Jockell takes readers emotion from hearing of distress and the alcohol dependency of Logan to self realization. In the process lives and feeling with major changing events brings to forefront Nigel's deep care for others. He not only changes but helps set new directions for others. There is surprise, disappointment and new joy in the relationship romance side of events.

Kirk provides heartfelt and carefully worded thoughtful statements of feelings from the character he has created in Nigel Logan. A tough, no- nonsense tell-it-like-it-is person Logan helps make things right with justice for the
“ good “ people while at the same time the “ bad “ must pay for their crime.

A fun, tongue-in-cheek interchange with friends, concern, suspenseful

Book 7 in the Nigel Logan Action Series is a terrific addition. In this novel, author Kirk Jockell peels back more layers of Nigel's personality and character while making him more human and vulnerable. This is one of those books that's hard to put down and will keep you reading deep into the night as you react to the issues facing Nigel's personal relationships with Candice and Sherry Stone. Jockell introduces a number of new, interesting characters that round out the story. A story that is filled with as much emotion as any in the series.
Fans of the series will love the story and be on edge awaiting Book #8.

I have enjoyed all the Stool 17 - Nigel Logan books! I love reading a book set in and around the beautiful Forgotten Coast, where I am fortunate to live! Good job, Kirk Jockell.

What a great series. I've really enjoyed every book in the series so far. Kirk is truly a great writer and knows how to hold your attention from beginning to end.
