Liam (H40) is used to getting what he wants and it’s instant attraction when he runs into Mia (h18) in his company’s building. He insists the college freshman takes an intern position in his office and things quickly heat up between the two. Sweet instalove age gap quickie with a side of heat and an alpha male who’s used to getting what he wants.

This is a fast-paced steamy short story featuring a grumpy billionaire alpha male obsessed with an innocent young woman he sees at work one day. Liam is the typical alpha-hole… he’s older, dominant, powerful, jealous, possessive, obsessive, etc. He takes what he wants without asking. Mia is inexperienced and sort of naive (not in a bad way) and feels overwhelmed by Liam’s presence. I’m obsessed with this author’s publications, but this one missed the mark for me. I didn’t find Liam swoon-worthy like I have other MMC’s in this author’s books, but I did love Mia! Overall this was a good novella and worth the read.

Quick, Satisfying, and Strong-Hearted

Liam is a short, steamy read with B.L. Brooks’ signature intensity—but this one was a little lighter on the spice compared to her other books. That said, the chemistry is still there, and the emotional connection builds nicely in a short span.

What really stood out for me was the female lead—I loved that she wasn’t a pushover. She had boundaries, strength, and didn’t just melt at Liam’s first possessive glance. It made the dynamic feel more grounded and earned.

If you’re looking for a fast read with a strong heroine, a devoted alpha, and just enough heat to keep things interesting, Liam is a solid pick. Not the spiciest in the series, but still satisfying in its own way.

In this book we meet Mia Angelo & Liam Stone. When Mia goes to bring her brother lunch when she gets done with classes early. Little did she know she would grab the attention of Liam. Liam isn't looking for a woman. But when he bumps into Mia he knows that the woman he wasn't looking for he just found her. Can they find a HEA or will it all be too much for them both?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Instant obsession becomes love after Liam sees Mia for the first time. Her brother works for him which gives him an immediate in. Hiring her as an intern gives him time to be around her. Things get steamy and heated fast but it won’t be an easy road. I liked their chemistry and connection. Together they are all kinds of hot. The epilogue threw me a little because he loses a little of his obsessiveness but makes up for it in the end. Definitely a good read over lunch for a quick steamy and romantic read.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Liam and Mia’s story. Mia is spunky, and she has moved away from home to attend college, while Liam is a grumpy, wealthy, genius, and from the moment he sets his sights on Mia, he wants her.
This is a well written fast paced, quick read, which is easy to read, with family, friendships, romance, emotions, drama, fun, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and steamy page turner.

Liam is determined to make Mia his even if that means getting her brother to talk her into accepting an internship with his company. Will their time together lead them to a happily ever after. This age gap romance kept me glued to the pages.

Another good book!

Enjoyed reading the love story between Liam and Mia. It's sometimes hard to believe a young girl of eighteen can be mature and spunky as Mia but in this case it seems to be true. Liam was struck by lightning. Her brother wasn't too happy. The scenery descriptions, the plane, his home and office building were great. I enjoyed the speed in which the story went along, fast read. Liam is instantly drawn to Mia when he spots her at the company building, and works it so she becomes his intern. Despite knowing he shouldn't, she's half his age and he's her boss it doesn't stop Liam from pursuing her, but to what end. Well written steamy age gap, office romance.

interesting series

Liam and Mia story is one of my favorites in the series so far. Mia is relationship with her brother is relatable. Hopefully they could get their relationship back on track. I think the characters are written well and with depth.
