Chosen by Lucifer

My new billionaire boss is hot as sin. He also happens to be the devil himself.

And there’s only one thing he wants…

Me.

I never meant to get caught stealing a priceless artifact from Lucas Hale, Los Angeles’s most notorious playboy billionaire. And I definitely never expected him to offer me a job as a way to pay off my debt.

But if it keeps me out of jail, I can play the role of assistant to this cocky, gorgeous man. It can’t be that hard, right?

Even if the chemistry between us is so intense that just being in the same room with him makes my blood heat.

Even if I accidentally walk in on him “taking care of himself” during my first week in the office… and I swear I hear him groan my name.

Even if I don’t quite understand how he moves so fast when he saves me from a psycho who tries to attack me on the street.

On second thought, maybe I’m in over my head with this new job. Because I’m starting to get the feeling there’s a lot more to Lucas Hale than meets the eye. A darker, more dangerous side of him than anyone knows.

And the most terrifying part?

That’s the side of him that tempts me.

Chosen by Lucifer is a steamy paranormal romance where the villain gets the girl.

This omnibus contains all three books in the series:
Dark Prince
Ruthless Demon
Fallen Mate

☆POV of Sofia and Lucifer
☆Demons, Angels, Dragons, Shifters, Witches, and more
☆War and blood, huge body count
☆Age Gap (come on Lucifer is a zillion years old)
☆Smut as hot as the fires of hell 🔥 😍
☆triggers include mental breakdown, depression, trafficking and drugs, magic manipulation on trafficked human women... I think that's it. But the above is usually mentioned or part of the plot a few times
☆HEA

I enjoyed the book, I really enjoyed the series.
Strong MCs and supporting ones. Great world building, I could see myself skipping through Hell 🤸🏿‍♀️
There are some twists I didn't see coming, I mean, it's usually the butler, right 😳
The smut! Well, let's say the devil did deliver 😏
It's not an insta love romance, more an insta hot attraction that develops. It is fast-paced and fast burning.

Be warned toes may curl. It took a while for my toes to uncurl 😉

It almost got 5 stars. Love the trope of the devil in love with humans. However it lost a star for the FMC being so dumb about stuff towards the end of the book. Like saying it’s been forever and literally it’s been 3 weeks or like a day. However the book has soul and amazingly steamy scenes.

This was a series that started well but did not end well, in my opinion. I gave the first book, Dark Prince four stars. I enjoyed the book, enjoyed the light world-building, character building and romance building. There was tension, intrigue. All good things. The sex scenes got a little redundant near the end, but it didn't ruin my reading of the first book.

And maybe if I hadn't read all three books immediately, my ratings of book two and three would be different, but alas.

Book two, Ruthless Demon, was three stars. I wasn't completely interested in Lucifer's family interactions, and the FMC was starting to annoy me a little bit with the way she knew that his family was trying to get to her, and still let them get to her despite knowing that's what they wanted. And then the sex - there was so much sex, and it was practically all the same kind of sex. It was happening every other scene, pretty much, and it was just, meh.

Book three, Fallen Mate, received two point five stars. It could've been so good, but like, it wasn't. The FMC was the entire time, which was obvious from book one, in my opinion. And even though the FMC had zero knowledge on fighting, or using weapons, she was suddenly able to do everything about it - throwing good punches, using sword-like weapons well. It took me out of the story, completely. And again, so much sex. And it really was every other scene this time. And the same kind of sex, but with anal added in.

Well, I finished it. Oof.

That was...not great. I kept waiting for all those amazing reviews to be real. It did not happen. Both MCs are narcissistic. The parental figures are caricature villains. The war is a joke. The resolution is even more ridiculous. And, their method of ending the war means that she left her sister to take care of everything on her own, zero assistance with finances, their mother who's institutionalized, nada. It also meant entire families were ripped apart because some of the demons and angels had human mates and families. So, did the mates get left behind while their spouses and kids just went poof? Seriously? And we're just supposed to forget about these human mates left behind and cheer because...why? I mean, if Lucas had at least left his finances to her sister it would have helped. And the spouses. But still, I'm sure they'd have rather had their families. It was just so weird, random, and disjointed, honestly. And more 🌽 than plot. I really wish authors of stories that are more about steam would quit calling these romances. There was zero romance. This was erotica with the shakiest plot that got abandoned periodically, and so easily resolved that I'm not sure it counts as conflict.

Btw, the whole theme at the beginning of the story was hiding the supernatural from humans. Um, the Thanos like ending surely left a lot of humans scratching their heads at the mass disappearances.

Sophia & Lucifer ❤️ is a DEAMON & ANGLE love story with a Persephone & Hades vibe too it 🥰

Sophia Gallo (20s) is a young HUMAN waitress living in Los Angeles, trying to survive and make ends, meet to live her life as comfortably as she possibly can as well as take care of her little sister, Cassidy. She is always looked after her sister when times got tough for her, her mother and sister…. Actually, she acted more like a mother figure to her sister, she only became her mother because of her mother became ill with a mental breakdown…. Her life gets turned upside down when her EX-BOYFRIEND get her involved with some very shady mysterious Debt collectors that have a very Demon aura VIBES about them…The demon debt collector blackmails her HER to STEEL something for him to wipe out the DEBT that she/sister has BUT she never existed to have to SELL it from the handsome BILLIONAIRE, Lucas Hale 😳… Lucas Hale the man how SAVED her life & owns half the city of Los Angeles… the question is can she sell from him?… Can she 🛑 think about him? 😏🤭🥰

Lusifer (Lucas) Hale is a handsome charismatic businessman, philanthropist & BILLIONAIRE how runs & owns haft of Los Angeles with an iron fist… He is calculated, precise & ruthless in his endeavors, but then again what do you expect from the devil himself 😏 Yes the is right he is actually a DEAMON in disguise living on earth among HUMANS…not only he is a Demon He is the one and only LUSIFER aka the Prince of Hell! That keeps his DEAMON ppl in ✅ on EARTH… he life gets interesting when he meets the INTRIGUING Sophia Gallo again I mean he did SAVE her life and all BUT that’s not the interesting part of all this… the INTERESTING part is HE is INTRIGUED by her especially that she is a HUMAN … intrigued why she tried to sell from him?… Intrigued even more to find out how blackmail her & why? The question is… Will he be able to keep his DEMON SECRETs from her? Will he be able to Protect her?… Will he be able to 🛑 think about her? 😏🤭🥰

I'm going to be kind and give this book two stars. This is just smut held together with an awfully thin story. I find that kind of insta-lust very hard to believe, and how many times can someone say variations of "watch me as I claim what's mine"? The smut scenes are kind of repetitive and way over the top, at least for me. The main characters are incredibly flat and one dimensional, and all the side characters are even worse. The plot line is so very thin and predictable, and I didn't even enjoy the writing style. I finished it just because I wanted to see how it ended, and it did just as I foresaw. Not a very good book.

Very mid. 3ish/5 🌶️ writing got predictable after awhile, will have to give bonus points on the spice. Decent spice… nothing too crazy or out there. There’s lots of spice, like every 2-3 chapters, there will be spice. So if you are here for the spice, yes, it’s good. Nothing too repetitive, the author does make the effort to make it exciting enough.

For the plot itself, can’t really say much, but as you go on, it’s extremely predictable, and at some parts I went “that’s just too convenient”, so yes, some plot holes.

This is an awesome collection of stories. Each of these books move along at the perfect pace for there individual stories. Each story has interesting characters that you want o know and you cannot help but love. These of these stories will grab you and keep you reading till the end and the nice thing about them being together is as you finish one you have the next. These are books that need to be read, no doubt about it.

DNF. I’ll finish sometime since I purchased it on sale. The plot is not horrible. I am unsure if it’s one of those books where the sex scene overshadows the story…or if they don’t do it for me to cause my DNF. I prefer being romanced in those scenes. At least feel the heat as to why they are there. I did get pretty far along in book 1, but I didn’t connect enough to the main characters, so I feel like the sex overshadows any storyline.

I read these books as they were released, and I'm pleased to see them together in a box set.

This is probably one of my favourite MF series I've read in a while. Sophia is down on her luck and gets an opportunity to change things - but this ends up working in ways she couldn't have expected.

I love books where one of more of the main characters learns firstly about the supernatural world, and that secondly they're part of it! This builds that storyline up well, throughout the series.

Sophia is a strong FMC, and even when she thinks she's reached her limits, she somehow keeps on going. Lucas, the MC, starts as your typical demon on Earth, but grows as they get to know each other.

The book has a satisfying conclusion - for once, I'm not thinking of which side characters I want to get a spin off, as everyone's arcs are neatly tied off. Just keep the tissues handy for the epilogue!
