A WOUNDED WARRIOR

Gravely wounded and left for dead, Craven––heir to the Primordial throne––finds himself stranded in the mortal realm, his powers dampened by the winged assassins who hunt him from above. Starved for blood, the stunning beauty who stumbles upon him seems to be his only hope. But when one taste leaves him hooked, he grows reluctant to let her go, claiming the delicate human for himself.

A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

There was nothing special about Michaela Stone...or so she thought. Raised an orphan, in and out of foster care, she knew nothing of her origins until he came along. When a good deed backfires, Michaela is forced to play nice with the smoldering hot demon who hijacks her home, his sinful bite igniting desires only he can slake. But when their union transforms her into something other than human, love quickly turns to hate.

BORN TO BE ENEMIES

Struggling to accept the hand fate has dealt them, can Craven and Michaela learn to trust each other before the real threat descends? Or are they better off as enemies?

Ah I loved this book!! 🥰 It picks up right where Honeymoon in Hell ended and the ending of Fallen will have you craving more! Alessia's books are so easy to read and suck you into their world. The humor in them will have you laughing out loud at some points and the spice 🌶🌶🌶 amazing! I can't wait to dive into the mommy and daddy drama in the next book...fingers crossed!! The Primordials Book series is one I always recommend and will continue to push on others! If you secretly wish a sexy and smoking hot demon will have his way with you and make all your dreams come true, you need to read this series! 🔥

I loved this book! This was actually the first in the series that I read. While you meet characters from the previous books, I had absolutely no trouble following along when those characters were introduced here. You get very minor spoilers from previous books, but not much more than you'd get from reading the synopsis. I had a love/hate relationship with Craven, but so did Michaela. One of the things I enjoyed most was that everytime I thought she was giving into BBS (body betrayal syndrome), she would pull herself back before it got too far. It showed the the bond's effects, but while she was able to mostly remain true to herself. A lot of times when BBS is involved, the Hero doesn't have to do anything to correct any wrongs he did because the heroine gives in easily, so I loved that while Michaela felt the effects, she was still able to pull away. Craven and Michaela's story had their ups and downs, but things worked out in the end and Michaela gained a family in the process. The world-building was intriguing and I'm looking forward to reading the first two books to see more of the worlds and how Craven's brothers met and fell for their mates. <3

If you are new to the Primordials series, well welcome, but do go back and read the first two books. It's not necessary to understand the story, but it will give an insight into the characters that will be showing up, plus you don't want to miss who Bala is.

Now I've read this book 2 times, once as a beta reader and a second time as an ARC reader and loved it both times! Craven and Mick's story is great! It was predictable at parts, but let's be honest sometimes we need some predictability in our paranormal romance!

The book is full of humour (I was laughing my ass off both times at some of the scenes in the book), the chemistry between our main characters is great and the adventure they go on is also awesome. It may not be as extensive as Kel's and Raya's adventures, but we get to meet some new "species" and our favourite characters from previous books make a lot of appearances so that was definitely great! This is one of the lighter reads (from what I usually read), and you can definitely finish it in a day!

I received an ARC for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Ok peeps, book three, here we go! Must read if you’re into Alpha A-hole’s, don’t mind a bit of non-consensual, with a dash of Stockholm syndrome thrown in.
*Don’t say I didn’t warn you*

With this being the third installment in the Primordials book series, I enjoy how well Alesia transitions from one story to another so seamlessly. There is a strong presence of the MC’s from the previous books that she naturally folds into the new storyline. In fact at one point I got major “inner circle” vibes from the gang in the Dark Realm.

There were a few moments where I questioned Michaela’s judgment.
A dude who breaks out of hospital with stab wounds and thwarts your multiple plans of escape from him…. Nothing? She doesn’t even question the stab wounds??? Mmmmmm idk girl. Even if he is totally lickable, I think I’d still choose life…. Maybe…

Then there’s the fact that Craven’s a huge dick to her until he decides he likes her and THENNN gets to know her. 🙄
⬆️The Alpha A-hole part ⬆️

NEXXXT….

It would have been nice to have a bit more depth into Michaela’s character. The story cut out before it could get juicy. Let’s get into the nitty gritty!

More deets about her past and her origins. Who’s her daddy? I am 95% sure we’ll find out in the next installment in the series. *crosses fingers* Which sounds like it’s going to be about Kane and Davina. I’m totally getting gross mommy and daddy vibes but I’ll bite. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC on this book since I totally loved Spellbound. Hopefully Craven and Michaela’s story picks right back up in the Dark Realm!

OMG!!! Where do I start? 😮‍💨

“She’d already wasted two cab fares, and she was about to waste another one getting back home. And for what? Some strange man she found in an alley covered in blood and big enough to be a fucking Avenger?”

The comedy alone is worth enjoying this experience! From the moment Craven and Michaela met, there was chemistry. The first encounter was kinda funny to read because you just know she cared about him. Myself, personally, I wouldn’t spend that much money double checking on some random guy I just met but I’m an demisexual so eh 🤷🏽‍♀️ 😆

The heat starts almost immediately after their second meet when she thinks he’s her ride from the hospital when in reality he wasn’t. Between both of them not being able to stop thinking of each other and then not being able to stay away from one another, the level of 🥵 this book has is…🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Definitely recommend this book. I’ll be reading the first ones too. How did I miss this is beyond me 😂😮‍💨

I received an arc review but I've been reading this author since the beginning. Every book she writes, is 10x better than the first. I thought the 1st book was my favorite, then the 2nd came out and now the 3rd. I'm so torn 😂 I can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing author. If I could give 10 stars I would. I love the characters, the plot, the romance, everything. I wouldn't change a thing besides making it 1000 pages cause I didn't want it to end.

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🥵🥵🥵🥵

I can’t get enough of these primordial demon brothers! Craven’s mate is so perfect, but I absolutely loved the enemies to lovers theme throughout. Michaela is a natural born leader and she doesn’t even know it.

ARC Review
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

✨️forced proximity
✨️fated mates
✨️alpha male
✨️found family
✨️unknown powers

I'm deeming Craven the *daddy* of the brother trio. He is an alpha male for sure. There is so much to process in this book, that every twist will keep you wanting more.

We all know who Craven is from the first two books, but in Fallen, we get to learn a lot more. Plus, we get to meet his love interest, Michaela. She definitely keeps him on his toes and I think he likes the chase 😏. Craven thinks the fates were messing with him, making his mate a human, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Both him and his little mortal mate are in for quite the shock of their lives.

Honeymoon In Hell (Book 2 in the series) was one of my first ever ARC reads 🥹 I can’t believe in May I will have been on Bookstagram a year! I was so excited to recieve this ARC as well and continue in this universe.

As usual, the spice is spicy and the chemistry is 🥵🔥

I have a soft spot for demon-fantasy as it stands 😍 Which I should probably find that alarming but I make no apologies.

I've been reading lots of "fated mates" books recently and they can get repetitive but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one.

It features a demon MMC and a human FMC. They met when the MMC was injured and the FMC tried to help him however, things got a little bit complicated when the MMC tried to regain strength by feeding off her blood with the intent to kill her but things got steamy instead 🤣.

Things escalated quickly because despite their reservations, it was obvious that they both don't stand a chance against their bond. I'd consider it a light read although there are darker elements in it as well (i.e. kidnapping, hostaging). It was so compelling that I was surprised at myself for finishing it at one sitting (from 8pm-2am, whew!).

I liked the writing style. It was decent and I didn't mind it being in 3rd person. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I'm gonna go ahead and read the first two books in the series (they can be read as standalones though). So if you're looking for the ff, then this book is for you:

enemies to lovers
fated mates
possessive MMC (touch her & you'll die)
demons vs. angels

The 3rd in the primordial series, following the eldest son, Craven.
I loved the first 2 in this series and this one didn't disappoint. Hooked from the first paragraph, this story grips you and keeps you riveted til the last page. Her writing is just beautiful, the characters felt feel and the spice level to plot ratio was perfect.. can't wait for the next one!

It was a fun read, just felt it was missing details about the character and I felt like the romance was rushed a bit. All for a slow burn. But the spice was fun to read and loved the twist of events that happened!

Book #3 in the Primordials series. This book was so good. Great banter, characters and story. A must read if you haven't started it yet.
