The Nameless Order MC

Unknown Protector

Knuckles:
I knew my way around a computer, but somehow, I couldn't crack into the police station. Now, to add insult to injury, someone from that very precinct was attempting to help me. On my own, a lot clicked, but it wasn't enough. Do I take this "help?" It wasn't just my struggle as a hacker that was getting to me. It was my neighbor. Green eyes had me falling apart the moment I saw them. Kisses that drive me wild. An obsession that I acknowledged but was terrified about. When he told me he was a cop, the least of my worries was the fact that I was straight.

Whitley:
I'd been on the sidelines watching. Waiting for my moment to strike. All that changed when I saw him in pain on the stairs, begging for help. I no longer had to lurk in the shadows. I went to his rescue, and the intense desire I had for him multiplied. There was no denying it, he was mine. Our lives intertwined, and he became my very reason for breathing. I wanted this, but I didn't think it would happen. And what I really didn't expect was to fall in love with him. After all, what harm could come to my heart by falling in love with a straight man?

Michele Lee isn't a "she," but a "we."
Ashton (Michele) and Brittany (Lee) make up this writing duo.

We met via a readers group, and instantly connected via the books we love to read. It didn't take long to form a friendship, and learn that we were both writing our own stories. After sharing our work with each other, we learned we have the same writing style, and decided to come together for a whole new story.

Four years later, we continue our writing journey together. We have multiple storylines in the works, and can't wait to see all those words hit the paper.

We're a duo who have only meant once in real life, but have found our best friend within each other.

Two hearts. Two countries. One story.

Have you ever wondered what a relationship between two guys from the opposite sides of the tracks is really like? No? Then definitely read this stunning standalone within the NOMC world.
Knuckles has always thought he knew what life he was going to lead,he knew where his feet were destined to land, and what his true worth was...until he met his mysterious and elusive neighbour.
Whitley instantly wanted Knuckles, needed him...actually no he craved for his touch, his attention, his every breath and he was going to get him by any means necessary.
The journey, both of them have to go through, the feelings especially Knuckles has to decipher, throws the reader a multitude of emotions happiness mixed with sadness, sin mixed with love and sometimes darkness mixed with light.
This novella has definitely taught us that no matter your circumstances,no matter who you are and what you believe in,if you find a love that you're truly proud of,then don't keep it hidden, shout it loud! Yet again,a well deserved five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unknown Protector is a novella written to coincide with the Nameless Order series. It is a standalone, but to fully grasp what is going on, I’d recommend reading it after the first four books in the series. (Judge, Cowboy, Dizz, & Copper)

Knuckles is the NOMC’s hacker and IT guy. After moving out of the clubhouse, he meets Whitley, his new neighbor, and it is attraction at first sight. Knuckles is confused about this attraction because he has only ever been attracted to women before, but he can not help but be drawn to this man.

This was a good side story within the Nameless Order series, I really enjoyed both main characters. Though I would have loved their story to be a full length novel rather than a novella. I felt there was a lot of room to explore and develop these characters a little more.

With the way this novella ended, I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more of them in future books.

Holy Moly!!! This was a great book. The two main characters are so good. One is just discovering the person he wants to be and finding the man he wants/needs in his life. The other knows who he is, but has to hide it from certain people. They both find each other, but can’t let others know, at lest just not yet. Lastly that ending came out of no where!!!

If you're new; welcome to the Nameless order MC, you'll be hooked. These men fight and love hard. Enjoy reading 💖

I LOVE this troupe -- bi-awaking. Im that special type that likes the drama and angst the character shows when fighting themselves before they realize what they want and who they truly are.

This book delivered that with so much more than I expected. I have read every book in the series so I was familiar with the characters. It could technically be a standalone and you'd not feel completely lost if this was the only book you read....BUT I strongly think you'd be doing yourself a disservice. You get more information and see characters develop if you start at book 1 (Judge).

Knuckles is the tech guy and I've enjoyed his banter with his brothers throughout the series. This showed him in a more serious light. His inner turmoil over his feelings and his ultimate acceptance was so natural and beautifully written. Granted the steam between him and Whitley 🔥🔥🔥, dirty dirty men (and I enjoyed all of it 😁) lol. This did kind of end on a cliff or at least a WHAT?!?!

I highly recommend this book and this series. There are dark themes throughout the series but this was a "lighter" read. Still check trigger and content warnings.

For a first-time MM novella, I feel it was done well.

But they write some good trash.

Michele Lee hit the ball out of the park. This is Knuckle's story that follows a path to forever love toward Whitley. It is romantic, steamy, and full of turmoil. The character of Knuckles discovers he is a pansexual and I think the subject was handled without any apologises. The book ends on a great cliffhanger.

When Knuckles decides that he needs to have his own place for the sake of his club and his cats, he doesn't see his neighbor coming.  He's never had trouble with women.  They always come to him. So why is it that the one he can't get out of his head is the man who is also the enemy?

Whitley has been watching the biker for some time now. The first time he saw him he knew that he was going to find a way to have him.  How fortuitous when he realizes that his obsession has just moved into the apartment next door.

This was such an interesting read.  Watching Knuckles come to terms with something he wants more than the club was a wild and sensual ride.  The steam was just the right amount and proves that love can come from the shadows and become your protection.  I can’t wait to read more.

Really enjoyed this read the main characters. were two men from different lifestyles one is straight and the other is gay but can the energy they share spark a relationship? Knuckles is a hacker, and the Whitley is kind of like an enemy to the MC that Knuckles apart of because he is in law enforcement, and they are neighbors and Whitley has been silently watching him without him knowing and ends up trying to secretly help Knuckles try to get information thru emails.

Whitley ends up being the protector of Knuckles after he finds in the stairwell beaten and needing helps but that only open the door as they try to figure out what they are to one another and the other battles with if he can have feeling for a man because he likes women as well. Can they be in relationship, or will who Whitley is be a problem for the MC?

WHY WOULD YOU END IT THERE?!
*tries to keep turning the non-existent pages*.
That was a brilliant end to this novella, I just wish there had been more of that throughout. But I did know going in that it wouldn't tick all my boxes as I'm not really an MM reader but I'm so addicted to this co-writing duo I couldn't not read it.
For me personally this was why I don't normally read anything but MF as the focus was on the 'different' (for lack of a better word) sexual aspect rather than the storyline which to me got lost.
But in saying that, this was only a quick novella so there was only so much that could be fit in, and that ending almost made up for everything.
Now I just have something else to add to the 'WTF did I just read and I need answers list'.

This is a completely new author for me and I have to say I enjoyed their story so much. Even though I haven't read previous books, it's still easy to pick up on things and understand what's going on. I loved the story between Knuckles and Whitley. They had to fight for their love and I couldn't put the book down. Great story, well written and I just loved it!

I liked this book It was a novella, but I think, really hope, that there will be more
The premise of this book was good, but nothing happens until the JAW-DROPPING end
it's mainly, Knuckles worrying that the club wont accept him as gay and with a cop, even just a ticket writer.

BUT THE END- OMG I need the follow up NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michele Lee has knock it out of the park with this mm story.

Who doesn't love a possessive, obsessive alpha? This book has it all. It's a beautiful, intense, spicy story that will leave you wanting more from this author. I recommend all their books but this one is my favorite. I'm a sucker for mm romance with a dominant crazed male lead.
10/10 recommend.

okay but

Doesn’t flow as well as the other books. Love that Theo is as always there to support and help navigate life when things are troubled. It sure why it leaves more questions than answers.
