This autumn snuggle up with a hot chocolate and a perfect, cosy romance.
Ellie Porter returns to the village of Wisteria Hollow to sort out her late aunt’s cottage. She’s recently divorced and in need of a place to stay, so the cottage provides a welcome sanctuary. Finn Harman has no time for love. After being betrayed by his ex-wife, he’s focused on growing his gardening business and spending quality time with his sister and her family. But when childhood friends Ellie and Finn meet again, it’s clear to both of them that they still have feelings for each other that haven’t been diminished by the passing of time. Can these two forty-somethings rekindle their spark, or will true love only ever be an autumn dream on Sunflower Street?

Ellie has inherited a cottage from her Aunt so moves into Sunflower Street. Finn is divorced, he’s the brother of Darcie and Ellie had a huge crush on him when she was a teenager. They meet and are attracted to each other, can two lonely souls find happiness or is it too late! Lovely gentle read set in a beautiful community with wonderful characters.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book it was lovely hearing all about Ellie and Darcie when they were younger and her brother fenn. Darcie now runs her own vintage clothing shop. Ellie has just moved back to sunflower street after getting divorced. Darcie's brother Fen has recently moved back to sunflower street after getting divorced & renting a house. He has his own garden maintenance company. Their lives have once again been thrown together. Looking forward to the next book
These are a few of my favourite things ... zebra print outfits, cats, autumn, friends, vintage shops, family mysteries and community. Not to mention fresh beginnings and unfinished business! All of these are part of this fabulous book that I enjoyed so much. A lovely uplifting read for my favourite time of year!
Nice change from the usual age group of the characters however my only gripe is whoever edited it missed quite a few errors, mostly minor spelling mistakes but also the age of Darcie's daughter went from 10 to 13 in the space of a day!
Ellie inherits her late aunt's house and moves back to Wisteria Hollow. She gets to reconnect with her childhood best friend and her first love. Very cute story with real life and relatable situations.
