The Girl from Kathua: A Sacrificial Victim of Ghazwa-e-Hind

Rate this book
On January 10, 2018, a little girl allegedly disappeared in Kathua district of Jammu province. Even before her body was recovered a week later, a sinister narrative was launched alleging that the girl was abducted, gang raped and killed by ‘RSS-minded’ Hindus in a Hindu temple. Talib Hussain, a PDP-Hurriyat activist with criminal antecedents led the campaign, in which Patwari Sanji Ram was declared as the ‘mastermind’.

Mehbooba Mufti, the then CM of J&K, deftly used this opportunity to arbitrarily arrest hundreds of young Hindus of Kathua district. Amid unprecedented protests by the Bar Association, several BJP leaders as well as leading citizens of Jammu, cutting across party lines, begged the PMO for a CBI investigation. But the demand was snubbed, and the fake narrative allowed to run amok.

Madhu Purnima Kishwar personally investigated the case over three years. With meticulously video-recorded interviews, extensive analysis of legal documents, financial transactions, and social media posts, she exposes how the Mufti government astutely used the mainstream media, foreign-funded NGOs and puppet academics to get the police and the judiciary to legally persecute innocent Hindus to further their subversive agenda of Land & Demographic Jihad in Jammu province.

Shockingly, leading journalists and ‘public intellectuals’ ignored even the post-mortem, which does not support rape charge to globally vilify Jammu Hindus and the Modi government. This book effectively blasts the fake narrative and exposes the masterminds behind it.

This is not just a book but a massive investigation & magnum opus of a research on the entire case of Kathua.

Back in 2018 it was almost impossible to NOT have believed what was played out and reported in the media. And reading this book, it's even more unbelievable that such a case, built on such flimsy grounds, went unnoticed by every national media and fooled more than a billion people!

Now, at a first glance, many would feel that this is an attempt to shield the guilty & disrespect the victim. But NO, IT IS NOT! Neither does the book, in any way, deny the murder (yes, ONLY murder) of the #KathuaVictim nor does it come in support of the murderer(s), who are still at large.

What the book does is question the veracity of the chargesheet built against the 'accused' based on a detailed study & analysis of:

-> The interviews of victim's family
-> The sequence of events that unfolded during the case
-> The media reports that came out including social media
-> The unwarranted mass arrests
-> The choice & character analysis (based on documented evidence) of the members of the SITs formed
-> The political landscape behind
-> The social unrest that followed
-> The demand of CBI Enquiry
-> The money trail in the name of the victim
-> The multiple & flimsy charge sheets filed
-> The witness statements - both outside & inside court
-> The postmortem reports of the victim that ruled out any possibility of rape
-> The massive LOOPHOLES both in the chargesheets & witness testimonies
-> The VERDICT
-> The choice of the judge & corruption cases against him

All in all, there is not a single aspect of this crime that the author forgot to address in this book. Reading through all these details would make you feel very helpless. The case was so outrageously orchestrated & played out by everybody including the judicial systems, that it makes you question whom and what to believe?

Our investigating agencies & judiciary are screaming for reforms but until then the #KathuaVictim & the innocents falsely accused are awaiting justice!

I want to start by thanking Garuda Prakashan for sending me a review copy of this book.
The book offers a thorough analysis of the case and sheds light on the reactions of the media and political landscape.

The author conducted a personal investigation into the case, including video interviews with those involved, analysis of relevant documents, and examination of social media posts. It is both unfortunate and tragic to uncover the many inconsistencies and irregularities in the case and to see how the entire cabal became hyperactive in advancing its sinister agenda.

The author uncovers how the then government of the state strategically leveraged mainstream media, foreign-funded NGOs, and certain academics to influence the police and judiciary, resulting in the unfair prosecution of innocent Dogras. The most shocking aspect was the central government's lack of resolve.

As the book progresses, you encounter one absurdity after another. This book is part one and reveals a disturbing low point in identity politics, which will be explored in greater detail in the second volume.

This book is an insightful read for those interested in understanding media influence and the intricacies of contemporary social issues.

Thank you Garuda Prakashan for a media copy of the book.

This is a book that dives deep into the disturbing case that shook India in 2018. Kishwar presents a compelling argument that challenges the mainstream narrative surrounding the incident, claiming that there was an underlying evil misinformation campaign and a sinister jihadi plot to persecute Hindus and alter the religious demographics of Jammu.

From the outset, Kishwar meticulously investigates the case, starting from April 2018, when she came across what she describes as a "bizarre" and "absurd" charge sheet filled with inconsistencies. The author's extensive research and laborious efforts, spanning over five years, are evident throughout the book, exposing what she believes to be glaring flaws, callousness, and even collusion among those in power. She sheds light on the role of Mehbooba Mufti, the former Chief Minister, whom she accuses of aligning with the narrative propagated by ISI and demonizing Hindus and India.

One of the crucial takeaways from "The Girl from Kathua" is the sense of a looming civilizational crisis faced by Hindus. Kishwar argues that this particular incident is representative of a broader pattern, where hundreds of Hindu girls are routinely raped and murdered by Muslims across the country, with little attention from the media. The author criticizes the lack of commitment among Hindus in defending their own interests, contrasting it with the strong sense of commitment displayed by the Muslim community. Kishwar suggests that Hindus should learn from this and be more proactive in shaping their own narrative, rather than constantly reacting to the narratives set by others.

The book also delves into the changing demography of Jammu and highlights the perceived threat of Ghazwa-e-Hind, a concept that refers to the Islamic conquest of India. Kishwar asserts that after forcing Hindus out of the Kashmir Valley, the next target is the Hindu population in Jammu, followed by Ladakh and other regions. She suggests that the influx of illegal immigrants, such as Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, is part of a larger plan supported by organizations like ISI and the George Soros cabal, all working towards implementing Ghazwa-e-Hind. This portrayal raises concerns about the potential impact on the cultural fabric and identity of these regions.

Kishwar also emphasizes the information war, highlighting the perceived disadvantage faced by Hindus in this arena. Despite Hindus holding prominent positions in top companies and playing a significant role in social media development, the author argues that they have failed to grasp the basics of this new-age warfare. She asserts that Hindus need to take the initiative in setting the narrative to counter what she sees as a biased portrayal of Islamophobia. Kishwar points out the importance of being proactive rather than reactive, citing examples where proactive narratives have yielded positive results.

Another intriguing aspect of the book is the examination of Hindu characteristics and the perceived disadvantages they face. Kishwar suggests that Hindus excel in conflict avoidance, which has inadvertently made them vulnerable and led to the derisive labeling of being a "lazy and effeminate race." She posits that Hindus, despite being the majority, find themselves at the mercy of the minority, a phenomenon rarely seen elsewhere in the world. This introspection prompts questions about the community's self-perception and the need for collective empowerment.

In addition, "The Girl from Kathua" shines a critical light on the perceived biases and corruption within the Indian judiciary. The author argues that the judiciary, driven by a sense of shame toward their own culture and the desire for praise from foreign countries, often appears
