Every night I get on stage and fifty thousand fans dance to my tunes, ,sing my lyrics, and scream my name. If I go to a restaurant or a club or even store, someone knows me. And it’s that level of fame that drove me out into the desert after a sold out stadium show in Las Vegas. In the middle of nowhere I found a true oasis in Clover. She’s not used to a fast life with bright lights but I can’t go back to that world without her.
A man with no name, no job, no car isn’t on top of my list of eligibles. I have a bar to run and friends to feed. I don’t have time for this hot stranger who looks like he wants to eat me alive. He’s got too many secrets and I’m a girl who likes open books. Unfortunately, I can’t stop my heart from yearning for him. My steady foundation here feels like it’s been rocked by love but I don’t know if that’s enough.
I loved this story. It was cute and steamy and I love the trope of the famous hero just trying to be a regular guy for a moment. This also had lots of emotional connection to go along with the steam. BUT—this author needs to invest in an editor. There was one chunk where the POV suddenly shifts in the middle of the chapter from the hero to the heroine. And several chapter headers would reflect the wrong POV (it would say clover, but really it was Dylan’s POV). Were these minor annoyances enough to ruin the story for me? No. I figured it out and plowed along, but they were annoying in an otherwise sweet n swoony romance. That’s my only complaint with this one. Otherwise it was a fun read!
Totally safe. Dual virgins. No others, no cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA with epilogue
Dylan is a famous rock star and has been wanting to take a little break from his people. So he went to a small town and ended up in a bar owned by Clover. When they met, cue insta-love.
This was actually sweet, and I know the time frame was ridiculously short, but I guess when you know, you know. Clover has hangups about musicians because her mom left her and her dad to pursue her singing career. So a huge part of the story was Dylan hiding his real job because he didn't want to scare away Clover.
But of course, this secret won't stay hidden forever, and he eventually told her the truth. I have to say he's quite clever doing the admission, he made sure she's finally on tour with him and she has nowhere to go, but to listen to him. 😂
There's some drama caused by her mom in the end that got resolved immediately, and Clover finally found the courage and decided to be with Dylan.
Overall, this was good and sweet. I enjoyed the insta-love and the epilogue. 💖

This book is a perfect example of knowing you shouldn’t do something but going ahead and doing it anyway. If this were a movie, half the theater would be yelling don't do it while the other half would be saying, "yeah, he's fine as h3ll, I would do it too." Throw in some insta-love and mama drama and that was it. Good read :)
Babes, this one slapped. I was beaming the whole read.
Dylan was so earnestly charming. His love for Clover grew from intrigue and attraction to the kind of devotion and dependence that is so fun to read. Clover's best interests were always on the forefront of his mind and he wanted to provide a life for her but also make her feel safe and beautiful.
Clover was a strong character. I love a sappy boy and strong girl romance. She was running her own bar and not taking shit from no man. But that doesn't mean she was self-righteous. She was an active part of her community, taking on the bar she inherited from her Dad and maintaining friendships with some of the people who raised her.
However, she was actively neglecting herself and her needs. Through Dylan's support she came into her own and found that love helped put her life back together.
I love like every book of Ella. This is a romantic, steamy story with some wonderful characters. Clover has been in charge of the bar since her father died, and one night she meets Dylan. Dylan is running away from his Rockstar life, meets Clover and falls in love with her at first sight. The plot is very entertaining, and it's a good read with HEA. Note: in some chapters it suddenly changes the pov of the characters and there are some editing errors, but even with that it is a wonderful story.
Rockstar romances are not usually my jam, but I think that everything that Ella Goode writes is my jam! Honestly I loved this one! Dylan is not your typical rockstar. From the moment he meets Clover, he is completely enamored and the type of overprotective alpha that we all know and love. This is short, sweet and steamy and I loved it!
This was a sweet surprise! Dylan is famous, a super popular rock star. He has everything, the world at his feet. But it has grown stale, there is nothing to look forward to. So he takes an unscheduled break. He sneaks off and lands in a small town. A bar called Lucky's run by a gorgeous redhead named Clover. Suddenly, his world is lit up, focused on this beautiful woman. Only she doesn't know who he really is. Can he convince Clover that this music man won't break her heart? Such a lovely read, I had so much fun with Dylan and Clover!

Dylan finds the perfect girl for him in the middle of nowhere. I love the Clover has her own backbone and story, but she grabs on to the feelings with Dylan without concern. I loved the storyline, and their little back and forth questions. I also liked that she didn't make Dylan a normal Rockstar with tons of past women and a drug problem.
My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Dylan is a rock star who just wants to be a regular guy for a night. So after a sold out concert in Vegas he escapes to a small town Loveland, where he finds a bar called Get Lucky. He does in fact get lucky when he runs into owner Clover at the bar. They share funny banter and have good chemistry. During their banter you find out she does not like music or trust musicians because her mother, a musician ran out on her and her father when Clover was younger. So what does the hero do? He lies! He doesn’t tell her he is a rock star and uses the fact that she doesn’t recognize him to continue his “regular guy” persona. By closing time she offers him her couch but they end up enjoying oral on the bar and in her apartment. He has two days before his next concert in LA, he wants to spend it with Clover, they do regular stuff around town and he’s almost recognized but plays it off. Back at her apartment he has a fleeting thought of not being intimate with her until he tells her who he is but that thought is very fleeting because he does have sex with her, dual virgins. (He’s been to busy with his music to be interested in women.) He leaves for his concert, without telling her who he really is. When he gets a chance to call her she hears women screaming his name and is a little worried about what that means. But still she doesn’t Google him. He comes back and through she’s upset with him she quickly forgives him and he asks her to come with him for the next leg of his tour. She still has no idea who he is, he’s told her he’s in crowd management. But she gets suspicious at the private jet, fleet of SUV’s, and penthouse hotel room. He finally tells her. She’s mad but forgives him. He tells her he loves her but she’s holding back the words. When her mom finds out she’s dating him she maneuvers a meeting under the guise of collaboration. Things don’t go well and she tells her mom off for abandoning the family. She realizes she’s punishing Dylan because of her mom, he’s not like her at all. I love yous and a marriage proposal. Epilogue with one daughter and Clover pregnant again and on tour with Dylan. Clover kept forgiving him for some real big stuff without even a discussion, seemed very unrealistic. The banter during their first meeting was very well written and believable.

Rocked by love de Ella Goode
Argumento:
I’ve loved Ella’s book but this one is not my favorite. It’s a DV couple. Yess!! Buuuutttt…. things I didn’t like: he lets girls (staff) touch him/ pat his chest down to dry his sweat during breaks or after the concerts; he lies to her until she’s right in the hotel before the concert!!! Also, she just doesn’t question anything. James suggested Dylan might have a wife and Clover didn’t stop seeing him until he explained himself or knew him better, she just slept with him without confirming he really didn’t have anyone else. She just accepted all his explanations and everything was peachy. And I don’t like that, I like stronger females that don’t let the guy trample her. But well, that is this story. He lied to have some freedom, he didn’t want to tell her because of her fear with musicians, he just trapped her telling her at the last moment he was a singer. And don’t forget… he carried her over his shoulder while she was naked and wrapped only with the bed sheet!!!! So jealous and overprotective but didn’t think someone could see her naked!!! Come on!!
It just had me all riled up that when the sweet parts came it didn’t move me much.
I enjoyed the way Clover managed her mother. Maybe that’s the only/most part I enjoyed.
And it’s a little unbelievable that fans pushed Dylan aside to be Clover’s fans.
SAFE -DV - No cheating - separation: a week - lies, mother drama
I liked the story line enough. You know when you pick up a book with less than 300 pages it will have instalove in it. This one is no different. It took them almost a full two days before they were claiming those 3 little words.
I felt like the FMC gave in two fast. The epilogue stated there was some hard times but we never saw them, which was disappointing.
With all that it would have been a 3 star read for me. However the reason I gave it 2 stars is because a couple of chapters were labeled for the MMC but the chapter was written in the FMC voice. If it was only one chapter I would understand, mistakes happen. It happed at least 3 times, it was confusing. Also felt there were two chapters that changed voices midchapter. Had a few grammar issues but only 1 was distracting.
I like this author, and will read them again. This just was not their best showing.
Ella Goode is the queen of romantic sweet comedy and this is right up there.
Escaping his life as a music artist Dylan finishes up at a remote bar called Get Lucky where his luck is about to change in an unexpected way.
Clover having lost her father is running the bar with no clue who Dylan is when he walks into her bar and they jump right into it.
For a short time, they live in their own little bubble with her having no clue as to who he is. When she finds out what he has been withholding from her she trusts in him, when her past walks in on her present life he proves to her that no one can become between what they have.
Was gifted an arc copy of this book, and my personal opinion upon reading it is to download and enjoy it.
Such a good read. I loved the connection they had from the very first time they bumped into each other in the hallway. Clover was sassy and bossy and didn’t take crap but at the same time she also felt this connection to Dylan. Dylan just wanted a night to be normal. Little did he know his life would forever be changed by walking into Get Lucky 🍀.
I loved that Dylan did everything he could to prove to Irish that they could make it work even with his career and fame. There were definitely bumps in the road and maybe a sliiiiight kidnapping but it was all worth it in the end.
3.5 stars This was good for what it is. Quick. Fun. Insta lust and love. Fate? A rock star virgin? Who’d a thunk? But cute, nonetheless. Of course we knew from early on the has been star who wants to record with Dylan is Clover’s mother. I’m glad Clover got the closure she needed with her useless mother. And it helped her solidify her thoughts on Dylan. It was very cute. I’d read another rock star book or series from this author. I liked that the entire story got finished in as few pages as it did.

Dylan just wants a normal night away from his adoring fans and he finds it a bar named Get Lucky. The owner of the bar, Clover seems to be drawn to him but when he finds out she hates music and anything to do with the music industry he decides he has to show her not all musicians are like her mother who left when she was little and never looked back. This is a great read and I highly recommend this book as a must read to anyone who wants to be Rocked by Love!!
I am usually not the biggest fan of 'rockstar romances'. They tend to have a lot of OW drama or outright cheating ... of which I am not a fan. But I should have known that I had nothing to worry about with Ella Goode. Dylan is trying to have a little normal when he stumbles onto Clover's bar. Instead of normal though, he finds the girl of his dreams. Dylan and Clover were sweet and sexy together. I really liked their dynamic.
"Rocked by Love" is the story of Clover and Dylan.
A rockstar who is tired of his busy and superficial life escapes to a small town for some peace. It is there he meets the heroine, and falls head over heels in love with her. The only problem- she hates musicians and he has to lie to be with her.
Insta love, loads of banter and hot lovemaking, some drama and a HEA.
The issue wasnt this book, I just do not like rockstar romances.
I really enjoyed this story about a runaway singer finding love. It was fun and sweet, the way a great read should be. I love how the story peaks, with pain from the love and leave 'em mother, to a suspected pregnancy but turns out to be a wonderful HEA that leaves you sighing " dang - that was a great story! ". This was a great weekend read that really perked me up and I look forward to the next story from Ella.
Needing a few hours of “normal”, rock star Dylan Sing, takes a chance of not being recognized when he stood at the bar, Get Lucky….and he gets luckier than he could ever imagine when he mets bar owner Clover.
She makes him realize he’s missed out on some of the best parts of life and he makes he let go of some of the bad parts of her past. End the end they both get lucky and get rocked by love.
I liked this one more than I thought I would. I'm not a huge fan of rock and roll romance but I couldn't help but love Dylan. He was so funny with how he pursued Clover. I thought she was great also, strong woman running a bar that she took over from her dad. We get lots of humor, chemistry and a bit of family drama but also a great read!
I was so excited, I went right into the FB page and almost forget to write my review. Loved the cover and the romance written in it. This rock star was the best, when Clover went knuckles with her nemesis Dylan was in Clover’s corner. The ending was amazing… I’m hoping there is a book about the pop singer in the VIP…
I loved these two from the beginning. Clover struggled with some trust but she didn't let that stop her from being with Dylan and eventually moving past it. Dylan was so good wiry her and even though he kept stuff from Clover he was sweet and loving with her. I loved their chemistry and will definitely be reading this story again.
One of my favorite things about Ella Goode is that when you reach the peak of the story, the way the hero and heroine deal with it is not the norm. This is so true for Dylan and Clover. These 2 are meant for each other, and the adoration and obsession for each other is steamy hot.
good god I would have smacked Dylan with his microphone if he had left Clover to fend for herself also, JAMESSSSS?????? SUCH AN ANGEL OF A GUY ISTG I WOULD CHANGE THE KEG BARRELS FOR HIM (TT)
but yeah, no push-pull, the guy was in it from the very beginning no micommunication per se, just some overthinking good one, liked it.
