This is the first book in the series that I have read and I really liked the story as it pulled me into what was happening. The characters were well written and very believable. The suspense of who was trying to kill the assistant prosecutor kept me on edge. Now I want to go back and read some of the other stories in this series. The author says each one can be read as a stand alone story and I found that to be true.
Prosecutor Hannah Lawton is getting ready to present her case against the popular local doctor who is believed to have murdered his wife. There are a lot of people that are against her going forward with this case and now one of those people is trying to kill her. It seems like this might be a ploy to try to make the doctor's guilt be in doubt. Hannah is also taking care of her infant niece while both parents are deployed in the military. As the killer keeps attempting to harm her, she will need the protection of one of the Texas Rangers Ryker Montgomery.
Texas Ranger Ryker Montgomery is determined to protect Hannah. When he was a teenager, his girlfriend was killed during a robbery at a convenience store and he blamed himself for not saving her. He's dated a few women but never wanted to get close enough to get emotionally involved leading to his getting hurt. Now as he has worked the case with Hannah, he believes that the doctor is somehow behind the attacks on her life.
The drama and suspense in this story intensified as the story went on as well as the feelings between Hannah and Rkyer as they tried to prove their case.
This may have been my first book I read from this author and I will definitely be looking forward to reading some of her other stories.

I had been eagerly anticipating this latest installment in Lynn Shannon’s “Texas Ranger Heroes” for the past couple of months… I can tell you that this book was worth the wait! In fact, one night I made the mistake of picking this book up after I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t put it down, I just had to finish the book before getting back to sleep.
This story has elements of both mystery and suspense. While the book starts with the main characters convinced they’ve gotten their bad guy, things start to happen that make them question their assurance in his guilt. As you follow Hannah and Ryker through the story, you’ll find yourself coming up with different scenarios as to what has happened, but never entirely sure whether you’ve gotten it right until you read the last page. The pages are also filled with plenty of suspense as to what is going to happen to our main protagonists next.
I enjoyed the love story between Hannah and Ryker as they both worked through the things that stand in the way to them committing to each other, but also in moving forward with their lives as individuals. I enjoyed the characters themselves and was able to relate to their struggles – as I suspect many people will.
This book checks all of the boxes for an inspirational romantic suspense and if you’re considering reading it and haven’t read a Lynn Shannon book previously, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re a Lynn Shannon fan, you’ll remember all over again why you’re a fan of her work.

What an action-packed story! It was full of suspense on trying to figure out who is the mastermind behind the murders? It started when Hannah when someone invaded her home to attack her. Could this be related to the case she was working on for the Fulton County Attorney’s Office? The Texas Rangers law enforcement is called onto the case and Ranger Ryker Montgomery is assigned as the lead. He decides that she needs protection and is with her 24/7. As attempts are made on her life, the relationship builds between the two but both try to denied feelings are there. Join Hannah and Ryker as they not only work the investigation but also their feelings.
This is a very intense story with a great plot line, wonderful characters and some humorous banter between Hannah and Ryker. The investigation is filled with pitfalls, unexpected twists, multiple motives and surprises that keep you glued right to the end.

This was a wonderful read that drew me straight into the story from the first chapter. ADA Hannah Lawton, who is taking care of her niece Charlotte while both of her parents are deployed overseas, is attacked in her home one night. Could the attack be related to the case she is working on involving a doctor believed to have murdered his wife? The Texas Rangers are called in, and Ryker Montgomery is the lead and in charge of protecting Hannah.
Ryker's girlfriend was killed by someone who had robbed a convenience store when they were fifteen years old, and Ryker blames himself for not protecting her. He hasn't let any woman into his life until he starts protecting Hannah.
The plot line was terrific with Ryker and Hannah's developing romance amidst the attacks on Hannah and the pressure that Hannah was getting from her boss regarding the case. Shannon wove enough suspense, action, and danger in Ranger Justice that will leave you wondering if the doctor is guilty or innocent.
Ryker's girlfriend was killed by someone who had robbed a convenience store when they were fifteen years old, and Ryker blames himself for not protecting her. He hasn't let any woman into his life until he starts protecting Hannah.

Another winner for Lynn Shannon. She is such a talented author who writes rich, romantic, suspenseful stories with a Christian theme. There is danger, intrigue, suspense, and drama that keep you on the edge of seat and good dose of romance to balance out the story.

Fantastic
This was a wonderful romantic suspense with the perfect combination of investigative intrigue and heartwarming personal interactions. Hannah and Ryker made an adorable couple and I enjoyed seeing them fall in love. The supporting characters were also well developed and complimented the story well.
I also really enjoyed the Christian message that was gently interspersed throughout, especially about surrendering and trusting that God was in control. The series just keeps getting better and better and now I can't wait for the next book!

Typical story line for this series. Heroine is in danger and hero is protector and life saver. There are car chases and bullets flying. The only thing that I wish would have been different was the age of Ryker. If he was 15 when his first girlfriend was killed and it is not almost 30 years later, he is now approaching 45. Hannah is 35 and is pregnant at the end of the book. That makes her an elderly first-time mom. By the time, the child is 20, Ryker will be 65 and will seem more like a grandfather that a dad. I would also like to have read more about the bad guys' response to being caught.

This is the sixth book in the series and the author does not disappoint! She brings a romantic suspense filled with intrigue as Hannah is working on a murder case and is receiving death threats leading to an attack. Ryker is a Texas ranger and is determined to keep her safe. I was glued to the pages with the twists and watching them fall in love along the way. It's well written with descriptive scenes, moves fluidly and is a great read.

Loved it!!
I just finished reading Ranger Justice, and I loved it! Hannah is a sweet aunt to her baby niece, Charlotte, while the girl's parents are deployed, and she won't let anything get in the way of keeping her safe. Ryker is scared to love again but more scared of losing Hannah to the attempts on her life. I really enjoy these Texas Ranger romance books with the perfect amount of suspense blended in. You always know the Ranger is going to keep his woman safe, but every story is a page-flipping journey from beginning to end. Another fantastic story from Lynn Shannon!

I liked seeing Hannah and Ryker together, they were well written characters and I felt a connection to them both and believed in their connection too. The situation Hannah found herself in brought her and Ryker closer together and gets them to address their feelings and decide what to do about them. I enjoyed the romance, family, friendships, drama, suspense and the banter - the story held my interest from start to finish.

You get plenty of action, danger along with twists and more as we see Hannah and Ryker try and work out who and why someone is out to get her and keep her safe. You start to doubt what originally appeared as solid evidence and then don't trust anyone but knowing how well Ryker and Hannah not only work together but care for each other you know they put all the puzzle pieces together but danger will also nip at their heels.

An interesting 'who dunnit' story with a handsome hero and a beautiful heroine who save the day together, crack the case and fall in love along the way. They are both broken from past experiences though and overcoming their pasts is not as simple as it could be with a murder threat hanging over them. A great read with a well balanced amount of suspense, mystery and romance with a sprinkling of Christianity added to the mix too. A fun series to read and you can read them in any order as they are all standalone stories. There are little cameos from the characters in each book too which is fun.

This is a brilliant romantic suspense story that keeps the reader engaged and on the edge of an adrenaline rush throughout. The characters are so well written and Ryker and Hannah make a good team. Both have past grief and loss and were not looking for romance but as they try to find the truth of a woman's murder which endangers Hannah's life in the process, romance blossoms. I love this series and the author's writing ability.

Faith in God leads the way!!
A delightful book in every aspect. I love mystery and suspense books and this one has both. Plus, you can't beat the Christian aspect of this story. It has plenty of action and romance and keeps you at the edge of your seat throughout the story. Positively recommended to all. The Christian aspect doesn't preach at you, but is a part of the characters daily life.

I enjoyed this Christian romantic suspense. A precious baby girl, two coworkers, and a murder case set to go to trial. I liked the unexpected turns this book took us through. I also liked the emphasis on family.

They had work together on this case, she is the DA in charge of prosecuting, and he was the lead detective. When someone breaks into her house and tries to kill her, he becomes very protector over her and her charge. As things get more dangerous for her, he makes it his mission to protect them at all costs.

I love strong Women
And Hannah doesn't disappoint.
The strength of her character and her trust in the Lord gives her the conviction she needs to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Thomas is guilty. The adventure begins when Ryder a Texas Ranger joins in in the pursuit of justice. You are going to enjoy this book.

We’re good friends, co-workers, and again good friends. Hannah was keeping her baby niece while her brother and his wife were both over seas. I really don’t want to give anything away about this book. Read it, then I am going to go back to the beginning of this series and read all of them. PS. Hard to put down once you start reading it. What some people will do to get the murder charges dropped. Putting pressure on supposed friends, have his partner in crime try to kill the ADA on the case and truly killing her associate. Only what this culprit has done has come back on him so that everyone involved is sent to prison. Great story, great storyteller.

Suspenseful and sweet, Ranger Justice tells Hannah’s and Ryker’s story of growing romance in the midst of attempts on Hannah’s life as she pursues justice in her job with the Fulton County Attorney’s Office. Clean with the thread of Christian faith run through this story, it is a quick and enjoyable read for anyone who enjoys clean romance mixed with some intense suspense.

This story is about a doctor giving prescriptions for narcotics to a man who is dealing drugs. Shootings and death of two others is part of this story, just enjoy the good that does come from this story.

Shootings and death of two others is part of this story, just enjoy the good that does come from this story.

O, boy what a mystery this is. I enjoyed it so much. I was given an audible copy on Spotify which made the story much more entertaining. Ms. Piller has an excellent voice for narrating stories. Then today the TV show Unforgettable had an episode that was the same theme as this book. I find that rather ironic but enjoyable. I enjoy all of the books in this series & look forward to future books.
