A four-legged genetic nightmare. A covert military base in a Mississippi bayou. A rogue black ops unit. What could go wrong?
The latest genetically engineered animal-soldier has hit the streets—literally. Jessup and Flowers confront it, but have they finally met their match? Will mutant 5.0 spell their doom? Or will it be the two-legged threats they never saw coming?
Death stalks the southern Mississippi delta when a monstrous hybrid, the most vicious creature Section 17 has ever developed, escapes. And this time, not even its masters are safe. Is it a tragic accident, government ineptitude, or something more sinister?
Double and triple-crosses are the name of the game in BETA, book five of the Genetics Investigation Team Thrillers. Get it today.
I m seriously hoping Mr Tilton decides to expand this series. Its well written and it really is relatable to today's times. Science has the capabilities to make mutant animals and we are never really told everything that is happening in our world. There is always something to distract us from what's really going in until someone finds out and blows the whistle so to speak. Thank you for writing. I really hope there's more to come in this series.
I have enjoyed all of the genetics Investigations Novels. This 1 started solid and ended open. I liked how we see Sanchez slowly taking over the project. The new experiments were interesting, a little telegraph but interesting. I hope there is another novel to finish the rest of the loose ends.
So the next creature is an alpha almost werewolf thing. I can’t believe these people would keep working for the government like this … guess lots of money. Liked how the animals got let out and almost took out the leaders. And some nicely deserved backstabbing. Will be interesting to see where we go from here.
This chapter in the GENIT saga is just as wild and crazy as all of the previous ones. April and Jake have used up most of the lives of an entire city full of cats. Each day brings more action and seat of the pants escapes from death for them. As always, I can't wait to see what is next.
Beta did not disappoint! Action packed and interesting. Jake and April are awesome and I love the action April took in this book even though it hurt her.
Borrowed with kindle unlimited. Same storyline as previous books in the series, a bit more definitive conclusion. Read with the alexia audio application.
This book was a good one this time the mutation is a cross between a wolf and a mastiff. Now I know that people in the real world have crossed dogs with wolves and even coyotes, but there puppies Barbuda their genes tweaked to make them bigger and for some reason more aggressive than you can imagine. Jessup and Flowers stumble onto this nightmare by chance and they have their hands full. I like these stories for several reasons. The good guys are characters you can root for. The bad guys are just a bunch of greed pieces of work. They are only out for the money and wrap themselves in flag to cover up their greed. Then there is Dotson, a man of mystery in a way. Just what he is doing and why is not real clear, but you have to like the guy for now he screws with the real bad guys. I feel that these stories are great fun to read and it makes you wonder do the bad guys even like each other. One more to read and maybe the bad guys will all be killed by the end of that one.
In this book, Jessup and Flowers hunt for mutated wolf/mastiff hybrids, while fighting Section 17. The books in the series have great a tion and thrilling hunts. But for me they fall short on the very flat and simple characters. This might be the last book that I read in this series.
