Chloe is a hometown girl from Tennessee who loves a great short romance, drinking coffee most of the day, and hanging out with family. When she's not writing, she can be found playing the piano or surfing Facebook! Having been a reader all her life, she's hoping that you'll find yourself lost to time, laughing and falling in love all over again with her books.
I am so excited that we get to come back to the Pro U universe. I enjoy these characters a lot; watching them love, seeing them learn and grow. And those are things that all entwine together to both trip Abigail and Reed up and bring them closer to one another. They’re dedicated to their sport, but will that dedication last in the face of so many distractions? Aside from the joy of seeing these young adults begin to develop into the people they’re meant to be, I think my favorite part of this book was getting a chance to get a “where are they now” look at one of my favorite previous couples. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
Next Must read in C Morgan’s Pro U series! I love his young adult college age romances. The age thoughts actions and feelings are age appropriate in this relatable book/series. Another book to make you smile as you relax and relate. *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
It's good to be back at Pro U!!! Abigail is now a sophomore and gave up on softball to pursue her passion of tennis. She may have come from money but she works hard for her grades and puts her heart into the game leaving no room for dating or distractions. Reed just transferred to Pro U after an altercation at his previous school for sticking up for a teammate on his tennis team. When Abigail and Reed meet it's game on to see who is the best player and distraction or not the chemistry is flying high. They fit together like puzzle pieces with their goals and love of tennis. When the teams mean girl Kristen intercepts a date and leaves Abigail hanging, maybe the distraction isn't worth it after all. Using her anger and hurt to win trial matches puts Abigail into a situation she never dreamed of. Can Reed win her back and prove the truth?? Will she give him another chance. Great young adult characters that are growing and learning from mistakes and not giving up on what they want. This book can be read as a stand alone without getting lost by previous characters, but why miss a chance of reading their stories?? His/her POV, no cliffhanger, no cheating and a rough road to HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily added it to my favorites collection. Great job Chloe Morgan and I can't wait for the next book in this series!!
Yes, it's a play on the Tennis theme, but these two are so adorable together and I loved the College Angst surrounding their story.
Abigail is the top Tennis Phenom at ProU. Every girl wants to be her, but she has those few girls that are a little catty to her. She makes one friend, Cassie, who has her back and wants her to finally meet some guys. Abigail has no time for guys. She is focused solely on tennis.
In walks Reed. Reed was kicked out of his old university for fighting. It was an admirable fight. Sticking up for a friend on the tennis team. When he sees Abigail and Cassie watching him practice, he falls in love with Abigail right away. That instant attraction between the two of them finally breaks Abigail from her "no boys" rule.
You can see the way they care for each other. It's a college romance that will have you begging for more between the two. I would love to see a story about the two of them after College when Abigail has won her third Wimbledon or Reed has fun being her new coach (I have a feeling that's where their lives are headed). That's what makes Chloe's stories so exciting to read. She leaves you wanting more and giving you just enough romance to satisfy you. Reed and Abigail are a perfect MATCH!
Twenty year-old Abigail is a determined Providence University tennis player who wants badly to be selected for the upcoming regional tournament.
Reed was expelled from his previous college for fighting, but his tennis coach wrangled him into Providence University and their tennis team.
When the two meet at his tennis practice, they are drawn to each other, so she challenges him to a match. He agrees and is more than surprised when she wins! Meet cute, for sure!
C. Morgan’s sweet coming-of-age story follows Abigail and Reed as they make their way through tennis practices and tournaments and through their personal lives as well. They both have baggage that prevents them from allowing anyone to tear down the emotional walls they have built, but as they get to know each other better, the walls begin to crumble. Follow their journey to HEA and enjoy not only Abigail and Reed but an interesting cast of secondary characters who also have their own issues.
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
Abigail is one of the top women's players, if not the top, for Providence University tennis. Reed transfers in midterm from another University so has to prove his worth to the coach and the men's team. Meanwhile there is major chemistry going on between Abigail and Reed and that makes for an interesting story by itself. The players are vying for top seed so they can play in a tournament and Abigail and Reed are fighting strong chemistry for each other. I loved reading this story as there was a lot going on at it was fun trying to follow. I would like to know what happened after college but then it wouldn't be Pro U.. Standalone easy read HEA
This is the first book back in Providence U and Abigail and Reed's book. Tennis has been Abigail's life since she was 7 and nothing stands in her way, not even a man. Reed wants to go pro but starting at a new college isn't easy but when he first sees Abigail he knows that he wants to get to know her. It didn't goes easy between them especially when her enemy on the team flirts with him. They soon realise that they both want the same things and they are brilliant together but when his doubts start can they get their HEA. A must read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

The Providence University series returns with C. Morgan at the helm. Playing for Keeps was a great story, featuring both the male and female tennis teams. Abbie was the strongest female player and she found her match, both on and off the court, with Reed. They both managed to bring out the best and worst of each other in the biggest matches. I wish the epilogue brought us a little further into the future. I’m really curious how some of the other players turned out with their tennis careers, or lack there of…
Reed and Abigail bond over tennis but have their trials and tribulations along the way. Written in a realistic manner and an enjoyable read. The breakup and makeup between them is covered in a sensitive way and shows the maturity which Abigail has gained. The dynamics between Abigail, her brother and her parents are covered and the part when Reed met them was well written. Definitely worth reading as a standalone but still part of the Providence University series.
You don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy the Providence U stories. In this one we have Abigail, who is driven and focused on tennis above all else. Except maybe Reed. He's a fellow tennis player - new to Providence U after protecting a fellow teammate got him booted from his previous school. This story has drama aplenty as Reed and Abigail fight their attraction alongside miscommunications and misunderstandings. It's quite the ride as these two figure out what's most important.
Abigail's a rising star in woman’s tennis, dedicated and determined not to become distracted from fulfilling all her goals by anything including love but then she meets Reed, could he be the exception to her rule?
Abigail and Reed are perfect for each other in every way even as they try to balance school, tennis and being together.
I read an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.
We are back at Providence University and the players of the tennis team are finding each other. Abigail and Reed are the best on the court. They are attracted to each other. They deal with the drama of college. They learn and grow while working the magic on the court. A great addition to the series. I can't wait to see what comes next.
This one felt like Reed was clinging on to high school a lot. He’s new on campus and starting over. Abigail is a tennis star and all about tennis. Reed is all about the game and starting over, but it felt like they were super young and more high school than college. But they are trying to adult.
Abigail is an up and coming tennis star for Providence University. She has her mind set on her goals and doesn’t want to falter. Enter sexy alpha male Reed. He’s a bit insecure at first but he is determined to win Abigail’s heart. They go through so many trials and finally get it right. This was a must read.
Playing for keeps is a sweet, entertaining new adult college romance novel. Abigail and Reed had great chemistry. Reed’s perspective was fun to read and Abigail was a great evolving character. The author may need to consider a follow-up story with more conflict and intrigue. Maybe post-college. Very fun read. I will recommend this book.
Loved this book. Abigail is a phenomenal tennis player at the pro u university trying to make it pro after graduating but what she didn't figure on was meeting Reed another tennis player, Reed doesn't know what to make of Abigail but all he knows is that he can't get her out of his mind. Will they make a go of their relationship or will tennis get in the way?
I have loved all the ProU series so far, and Reed and Abigail's story is no exception. They are both students at Providence university, so there is all the college drama surrounding this love match. I really enjoyed this installment of the series.
This Providence University book was terrific read. Abigail and Reed were so sweet together in this tennis romance. Dramatic and emotional and really enjoyable. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.

This is an entertaining romance. Reed and Abigail are college age tennis players. When they meet, the chemistry builds. There’s some drama in this fast paced, well written story. I enjoyed it. *this was a complimentary copy and this was my honest review*
These two are so great together. I love their story and their love for their sport and how it brought them together. I went through a few emotions with this one. Reed got me a little angry with him, but he won me over again quickly.
This book is part of the Providence University series. I liked this young adult, college sports romance. Abigail and Reed's story is fast-paced, and engaging, filled with drama. The characters are interesting. I enjoyed it.
