Well, Miss Krystal! I haven’t read one of your books in a minute, and the title intrigued me. Ma’am, this was the sweetest, yet messiest ish I have seen in a while! Whew! My heart broke for Danielle as she was battling her illness alone! 💔 She had all the things that money could buy, but everyone around her only wanted what she could provide for them! They were all leeches from family, friends, and her man! That impromptu one-day trip changed the lives of two people forever! Kris, a man rebuilding his life, helped Dani out in her time of need. He was kind, allowed her to lay all her burdens down at his feet and really “saw” her, in a way no one had before! Their hearts connected that night! Fast forward five years, all the ish hits the fan! Secrets and lies are revealed, and the drama ensues! Kris and Dani reconnect, and all is right in the world, right? Wrong! This where it gets sticky! Marcellus and Angelica are foul as hell, and I can’t wait to see how karma is coming for them! Danielle’s momma needs a good dose of whoop ass, with how she has treated her daughter! 🤬 That ending tho! Can’t wait to see what happens next! 👍👍👍

Jealousy doesn’t get you anywhere Ang will see the same way how Marquis treated Dani it’s just only a matter of time before he treats her the same idk why some women think how a man treats one person he won’t do it to them she will learn thinking hood looks will hey her far in life im happy Dani found someone like Kris to understand what she was going through in a difficult time like hers and I like how he made her feel alive again despite her cancer illness I wish we can get more of these two characters later on down the future once again Krystal never disappoints me

good
That was good. I usually don't like stories about women being with multiple men at the same time, but this was a different take. The beginning and the ending made me smile. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars was bc there were some areas that were confusing based on the word usage as well as misspelled/misused words that messed up the reading flow. Overall it was good and I liked it.

Awesome Read
This book has me on edge. Some secrets were revealed and drama started. I couldn’t stand Danielle’s mom. That lady was something else and had a lot of nerves. I wish I had more back story on the relationship between Danielle and her mom. Overall this book was definitely worth reading. The end will leave you mad though. Lol. At least it left me mad!!! I wasn’t ready for it to end.

I wholeheartedly wanted her and Kris
Crazy how years later the uncle/daddy admit to some sh!t that should have been said a long time ago. I appreciate Kris waiting the bs out. It didn't even take long. I definitely really want to know more but since this was a short story I'll accept it for what it is.

Wow Angelica is something else like how you messed with your own family husband and thought they wouldn't find out because you thought she did something first she crazy marquis bout to get them papers handed to him I can imagine his face when he see his wife walk in with Kris he going to be on fire that's what he get haha

Laughing
This well written story kept me laughing. The trauma from her past and current feelings, she made the right decision in getting married for revenge and the money. Secrets come to light from a few directions and a lot of people are fee!ing the aftermath. This is definitely a good read.

Omg I absolutely loved this story! I felt the pain Dani was living in with each page that I read. I could only imagine how many real life celebrities actually went through and are probably going through her situation. I’m glad that she found her voice in the end but I would’ve loved to go to that lawyer meeting with them in the end lol

Well DAMN!! Guess Marquis got what his money paid for..he was the child they kept. He wanted his cake & eat it too!! Now him & Angelica can start all over together. Dani & Kris can keep healing and loving each other today

Well this book was such a good read I could not put it down. I love me some Kris and im glad he showed Danielle what she could not find in her boyfriend. When you at ur lowest you just need that person who sees you and only want to make you happy . I was crying when Kris cut her hairbc of how the cancer made it fall out but he turn around and did the same to his. Now if a man don't do that for you he ain't the man for you !! Now thats what you call love ...

Characters unlikeable. Plot was trash and all over the place. I had to stop reading and swipe to the end. The ending was even more terrible. The woman is getting cheated on but still have the folks around her???The book was just bad all around.

I loved the book. It was well writen about a white woman and a black man that found each other at the right time. Yes there was sex but the story was more than a sex story..
