Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:

1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.
2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.
3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.
4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.
5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.
6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.
7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.
8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.
9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain.
10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

Protective Police Officer Hero

My review title says it all. This was a short, mildly spicy romance between an influencer and a police officer. The cringey language used almost made me dnf in the first few pages.

This was not interesting or romantic. They fall in insta-love and into bed. It was slightly redeemed by the addition of a dog. One and half stars rounded up to two, purely for the dog.

Stalkers and Secrets

4.5 stars - "Saint Patrick," as Adam likes to call him, has had Ruby on his radar for some time so when fate intervenes, he makes good use of the opportunity. Things aren't all they appear for Ruby but her chemistry with Patrick is undeniable. It's a cute and steamy story (oh, the steam!) with some suspense thrown in.

And let us not forget one other thing. Charlotte, who was missing in the first two months / books but can found in all of the "His First Time" books, strikes again! 😄🐶 *woof, woof* If you've read that series, you'll recognize a few other characters, too as they all take place in the same town / places. Both series are standalone books but they do have overlapping characters and occasionally some carryover storylines. Personally, I'd recommend reading all of the stories in publication order, starting with His First Time: Ranger. They are quick easy reads with heartbreak, heat, laughs, and plenty of delightful HEAs.

Ok, I'm now officially done with this series. The book had a good start, actually, but then it was very rushed and.. ridiculous!? 😞.

*potential spoilers*

I know it's a novella, but that doesn't mean that the book's timeline should be just across a few days only! Firstly, how can someone decide on the spot to adopt a dog? A dog that might also have emotional issues! - with the nudge of her almost boyfriend, which was also weird on his part, why would he assume it was a good type of surprise, going with your not yet girlfriend to a shelter to adopt a dog when you do not even know if she likes dogs or if she's alergic to them etc.?

Then, by the next day or so, she made a new social media account for her dog and it becomes pretty popular over the night, but it's not clear how much time it has passed since the adoption until the account and the posts were made. Not believable, or hmm, believable if she was Victoria Beckham or something. But she was a booksgram bloger, etc., which is great, but this scenario is so overstretched.

Everything was over the top ridiculous. The stalker situation was just stupid. Not funny, not realistic, just plain 🤯 🫣.

At one moment, the FMC thinks about the MMC "He’s normally way more in tune with my needs and wants." I'm sorry, what? You just met 2 days ago, how is he in tune with you after two fucking days!? Bye!

Even though I have more books from this series on my Kindle, I'm gonna skip them.

1 ⭐️ thought this would be a fun St. Patrick’s Day stalker romance novella. This was truly the worst book, somehow worse than pumpkin spice cafe.

I lost brain cells. Easily the most regret I’ve ever felt from reading a book.

Ruby uses her social media platform to help authors and recently has started thinking that someone is following her so she decides to go to a self-defense class. Patrick is a policeman that secretly likes Ruby and volunteers to help his friend by teaching Ruby’s self- defense class. Patrick also agreed to be the bachelor at the March meeting of the Man of the Month Club and he is matched with Ruby. He offers to help her practice her self-defense moves and they end up at her place and become intimate the next morning. Things go well for a while between them but they are torn apart by an accusation about Ruby’s stalker. Can Ruby and Patrick clear up the problem and find happiness together?

I enjoyed this story about Ruby being followed and Patrick teaching her self-defense so she can protect herself. The match at the Man of the Month Club seems to going well until Ruby starts having doubts. I loved Patrick’s patience and his help in getting her a dog for protection. The epilogue was a great ending for their story.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! By the time you’ve figured out who is who and who to like and dislike, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Thus far all the books in this series have been great and this is no exception Ruby has a stalker and decides to take a self-defense class with Officer Patrick and he has wanted to meet her and here is his chance. They start to get to know each other and of course emotional bounds weren’t supposed to be on the menu and attachments certainly weren’t supposed to form. But when love rears its beautiful head well will there be a HEA?

Patrick is an older cop, alpha, and big build. He is interested in Ruby but has not approached her yet. Ruby thinks she is being followed by someone and wants to take a self defense class. Patrick is filling in for the instructor and Ruby is in the class. This is his opportunity to get to know her better. Patrick is the March Man of the Month club and when he sees Ruby at the meeting he believes she will be his date. Instead of going out to eat Ruby wants more self defense training. This is a short little story but it is filled with drama, suspense, and danger. There is also protectiveness, tenderness and caring. Together they are electric. They are smoking hot and they are passionate. How can it go wrong? It is a crazy good story! This series is so-o-o good!

Ruby Beckham’s uneasy feeling has turned into a certainty that she has a stalker. Going to a self-defense class to try to be prepared for the worst, she meets her instructor Patrick McDonnell, a police officer. They both feel the attraction.

When the March Man of the Month Club convenes, the bachelor is Patrick and he is hoping he is matched with Ruby. As the stalking becomes bolder, can he keep her safe from the potential danger?

This was a good story line, with the added joy of meeting Rocky, her protection dog! Why is it that animals always “steal the show”? Patrick and Ruby are likable characters as well, and the little bit of doubt injected into the story kept the reader’s attention to see how this played out. Grab your copy and enjoy!

It's a new month and time for a new couple to be matched. Man of the Month club is a matchmaking story. Each month a new man comes to the club meeting to be matched with an eligible member of the club based on one of the members computer program. Patrick is a police officer and March's man of the month and he's match with Ruby the woman he's been attracted to for a while. He throws his name in for March in hopes that he'll be matched with Ruby. Ruby has herself a bona fide stalker but hasn't let anyone, but her sister know what’s going on. Will Patrick be able to gain Ruby's trust and help her out? It's a fun, steamy, short read. Can't wait to see what April brings.

I liked this one the most out of the three that I’ve read this far in this series because it had more of a plotline with the stalker storyline. Then there were some great moments of self-defense training that were very sexy and filled with tension. There was that build up there that Wasn’t there in the other box. This felt less instantaneous, and just more of an intensity build. The steam was just as much as in the other box, but there was just more substance to it that made it really enjoyable. Plus, I loved his protective Ness of her and the dog and so much more. It just was quick, yeah it felt like a complete and satisfying story.

Three months in and these stories just get better.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Ruby always feels like she's being watched, now she has found a note so she knows it true. She starts self defense and some how got matched with the Hot cop this month. Is he too good to be true?
Patrick has noticed Ruby before and is very happy when they get matched up. Can he keep her safe and prove that he is the man for her?

This story had a little of everything, suspense, love, sexy scenes, misunderstandings. I enjoyed the story of Ruby, who had a stalker, and Patrick, a police officer. I was surprised to find out who Ruby’s stalker was and the reason she was being stalked. This is a short story that is a delight. I would recommend this book for a fun afternoon read.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Patrick and Ruby meet because of a stalker. Although he admired her from afar, he had never approached her. Now he has opportunities to do so and takes full advantage. He is a police officer who also wants her safe and protected. There is a big misconception that almost costs them a future together. The story is short, sweet and steamy with some suspense. It was a great addition to the Man of the Month Club series.

Ruby just has a feeling that she's being watched. Officer Patrick has wanted to meet Ruby as he's seen her from afar and is glad of the opportunity to help her in the self-defense class and get to know her better. There is suspense, drama, mystery, danger with characters that have a sizzling passionate chemistry. Will they find out who is stalking Ruby and why? Will Patrick and Ruby get their HEA? This is a fantastic series. April is next month. ; ) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great book by Ann Omasta who once again brings strong characters in Ruby and Patrick. She gives them a hot chemistry and pulled me in with all the drama , intrigue and suspense and moves the story quickly and smoothly with her detailed and descriptive writing. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story. Loved and highly recommend!

Ruby has started feeling that she is being watched so she decides to go to a self defense class. Officer Patrick McDonnell is standing in for the regular instructor, and he can't believe his luck when the woman he has been attracted to since she came to town is in his class. The attraction between them is instant, but what will Ruby's stalker think?

An enjoyable novella.

Man of the Month Club: March was another fun read with a touch of suspense added. Ann Omasta wrote another 5 star read with Patrick and Ruby's story. They are the lucky match for March and the chemistry is definitely immediate and intense. But Ruby has a stalker and she only hopes the man she is falling for isn't behind the threats to her safety? Definitely recommend!

I really can’t get enough of these books. Or these authors. This one made me a little angry but not enough to make me lower my rating. I was just upset with how Ruby kinda thought it was Patrick. But, it was understandable. He was there at very convenient times so I get it. The animals adoptions get me every single time. I always tear up!

I found it really hard to connect to this couple. The chemistry just wasn’t there for me.

I still however found it to be a charming, fun little story to read in between heavier books.

I enjoyed the stalker aspect and their hunt to find him/her.

They always ruin it at the end. 😂
This was a 4 star read until they dropped the “I love you” after 3 days..
you literally just accused the man of being your stalker and now that you know it’s not him, you love him?

YOU CAN HAVE A NOVELLA WITHOUT HAVING INSTANT LOVE BOMBING. It comes off very high school.

“I think I’m falling for you” would have been enough.
