10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

He dumped her to be a famous athlete and whored with “lots” of women. She didn’t touch another man. FUCK. THIS. SHIT. He never went back for her never checked in on her life just did not care. Too busy with the groupies I guess he never would have comeback if he hadn’t suffered an injury that shut down his career. 🤷🏼‍♀️and fuck all the authors who think this is any way ok or romantic. Ohhhh but but as soon as he saw her he knew he has to have her again. And of course she falls in his lap basically immediately

Deciding To Take A Risk For A Chance At Forever -
Sloane’s heart still wasn’t healed from the heartbreak she suffered when her first love Logan broke up with her after high school graduation and left town. Logan still hadn’t gotten over his first love Sloane, even after breaking up with her for no reason, other than being an idiot. Seeing Sloane again brought back his old feelings, but being pained with her at the club even, solidified his decision to make her his again. Unfortunately, wanting something, doesn’t necessarily mean you will get it. It would take his family’s help, for him get his happily ever after.

This is an enjoyable second chance page turner, with likeable characters and a storyline brimming with off-the-chart chemistry. You won’t be able to put it down once you start reading.

When they are matched together by the Man of the Month Club Sloane is not happy, but Logan sees it as his chance. Will he be able to melt the ice around Sloane's heart and get a second chance to have a happily ever after? This story had me in Sloane's corner all the way.

This is a sweet second chance romance between high school sweethearts Sloane and Logan. He leaves her broken hearted and returns years later. The spark is still there and their chemistry only grows stronger. The author packs a ton in this short story and delivers an entertaining story I enjoyed reading. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes and is an enjoyable read.

This was a very cute and quick read, so far this one is my favourite.

Sloane & Logan, use to childhood sweet hearts in school. Logan dumps Sloane so he can chase after his dream of being a professional footballer.

Of course years later he’s back and wants to rekindle his love back for Sloane, who is doubting it all cause she was left heartbroken.

Doesn’t take them live to rekindle their love and realise that no matter what and no matter how long it’s been, that they both are still madly in love with each other.

While being dumped is never easy Sloane's love for Logan never faded , and when he moves back to town and becomes Novembers man of the month he's paired with Sloane , getting to know each other again he admits he had other women , while Sloane has dated she admits she hasn't slept with anybody else , this is a cute spread your wings(Logan) a bit before they finally make their way back to each other , it's another brill addition to the series , so excited it's Phoebe who is next in line for her chance of happiness.

This book was a rollercoaster for me. I’m not gonna lie I wasn’t a fan of Sloane in the previous book, but in this book I can’t help but to sympathize with her. I was heartbroken with her, grieving her high school relationship and just hurting from seeing Logan and having him in her life again. I was torn between her putting space between the two of them so she can focus on herself and allowing him to be in her life again because as much as I wanted to hate Logan, he was so sweet at times. I couldn’t help but swoon at the scene where he showed up to her house and made her coffee and toast just the way she likes it.

I think this is the first time in the series where I truly wish that this was a full length novel, I need more of Logan and Sloane!

Sloane can't believe her sister asked Logan the man she loves to be the Man of the month for November. Anxiety is high for Sloane. She wants to be there to see Logan but knows she can't get him back because she can't handle getting back together and having her heart broken again.
Logan was matched with Sloane. She tries to be standoffish as best as she can but she's dying on the inside. Logan is trying hard to let her know he's sorry for hurting her.
Logan and Sloane both know they are meant for each other. Finally something clicks and Sloane realizes t hat Logan is he only one for her. After suggesting to meet at the favorite spot, they let each other know this is how it was suppose to be. FOREVER!

This is a quick read with Logan and Sloane.
They were both crowned king and queen of the prom. Only problem was Logan left Sloane behind to play professional football. When they are matched together at the man of the month Logan realises he will have to try very hard to win Sloane back and prove he wants her for keeps. Will Sloane agree read the book to find out it is good.

Ann Omasta has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Sloane and Logan. Sloane and Logan had been a couple back in high school and she thought that they would be together forever. Logan broke up with her and broke her heart. Now he has moved back home because of an injury. Logan's sister Trish has talked him into becoming the next Man of the Month Bachelor for November. Sloane is not happy with her twin sister Sam for getting her to come to Evie's Bar & Grill. She is sitting at the table with the other available woman. Logan is nervous about going inside. He spots Sloane from the window and hopes that she is the one paired with him. He can't believe she is more beautiful than she was in high school. When he walks into the bar & grill, he walks toward Sloane's table. As he gets closer to her table, she looks madder than he has ever seen her. He hopes that he is not paired with one of the other ladies at the table. He knows that if he is, it won't be fun. He has tried over the years to get Sloane out of his mind but he can't. He is going to try and win her back. He walks up to the table and said " Hello, ladies. As I look around this table, and I realize that I get to go out with one of you tonight. I feel like the luckiest man alive. Sloane rolls her eyes at his over-the-top words but as she glanced around the table she is the only one who sees him as a womanizing rake. Every woman there is beaming up at him. She can't blame them, she used to be the same way. She is not going to let him burn her again, once was enough for her. She hopes that she is not paired with him even knowing that seeing him with someone else will hurt. When Phoebe calls out that Sloane is the one who was paired with Logan. She is not too happy. Logan is glad that Sloane was paired with him. Logan reaches down to take her hand. She places her hand in his and they walk out to his car. He takes her to their tree. He just wants to talk but when she tells him that she is sorry about his father, he kissed her and things get a little heated. She tells him that she can't do it and gets up and walks back to the car. She asked him to take her home. When they get to her apartment, he walks her up to her door and he said he would like to see her again. She said that it would not be a good idea. He has a look of pain on his face and she starts to close the door and said: "Goodbye, Logan." She knows it was the best thing to do but she still hurts. She gets her some comfort food and a bottle of wine. The next morning she is woken up by a knock on her door. When she opens the door, it is Trish and Logan. Trish has a favor to ask of her and Logan is the one who told Trish about Sloane and comes up with the idea of her doing makeovers for others. Sloane takes Trish shopping and gives her a makeover. When they get back to Trish's house, Logan is shocked to see how good his sister looks. Trish's husband comes in right behind them and likes what he sees. When Sloane gets ready to leave, she tells Logan to meet her at their tree at 7 p.m.
Will Sloane give Logan a second chance with her?
This was a wonderful short book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is book eleven of the Man of the Month Club series and sees retired professional football player Logan Fox picked as the club’s Man of the Month for November. When he was in high school, he was joined at the hip with his girlfriend Sloane Ford, the head cheerleader to his football quarterback, even prom king and queen. Sloane thought that their love was forever and was devastated when he broke up with her after high school, to pursue his professional football career and has never recovered. All of her confidence and self-worth was lost when he dumped her. She has flitted form job to job and was sharing an apartment with her twin sister Sam until she became engaged recently to their best friend Parker! Now she has no real career and may well lose her apartment unless she can find a new flatmate pronto. It was Sam who put Logan forward as being the bachelor of the month to the club, after he moved home when his father, his first ever coach, died. It seems the pair still have some sort of connection together, with her wearing a dress the exact colour of his tie, something they used to do in high school. Although most of that is probably down to a meddling sister or two.
Now the pair have been matched by the Man of the Month Club, made up of all the single women in town and the chosen bachelor and it gets announced by the club’s leader Phoebe. Sloane has now won a date with Logan and if looks could kill, he would be dead already. She can’t refuse his hand to help her off her stool in the bar, not in front of all the other women, but once outside the atmosphere is frosty! She isn’t exactly keen to have a date with him but he has come to realise that he made a huge mistake in his youth of thinking there would ever be another woman he fit together so perfectly as Sloane. He has looked for replacements, but none of them have had the same connections they had together and he has never loved anyone else the way he did her. The foolishness of youth made him think what they had would be easy to find again and it took him a long time to realise that was a huge mistake! Now he just has to convince Sloane that she should let him back into her life ad that they are still meant to be together. He had to retire from playing football after an injury and is now lost as to what he can do with the rest of his working life. He took Sloane to their special place and it was there that she put a suggestion in his head, about what he could do and what he would be really good at. He repaid the suggestion with one of his own the next day. They were meant to be together all those years ago and the mistake of thinking something better would come along, had disastrous results for them both. Time has made their connection more intense and a steamy HEA ending is guaranteed for this Man of the Month and his perfect match! Still a perfect match

Man of the Month Club: NOVEMBER is the eleventh book in this series and is another deliciously sweet story. It is a second chance romance with your first love between Sloane Ford and Logan Fox. Sloane is twins with Sam, who got her HEA with their best friend Parker in October. Sloane was one of those young women who seemed to peak in high school and since then has not been able to really start her life. She was the lead cheerleader and Logan was the star quarterback. But instead of going off into the sunset together Logan broke up with Sloane after they graduated and then went off to play in college and was drafted into the NFL. But when a shoulder injury ended his career Logan came back home. The one thing he is sure of is that he wants to win back Sloane, as no one has ever compared to her. When Sloane was left with a broken heart she never quite recovered. Her dreams were smashed and now she did not know what to do, so she has bounced around different jobs and had uninteresting boyfriends. But when Sam suggested that Logan be the next bachelor of the month now that he was back Sam has to put on a brave face. She is not sure if she wants to be matched with Logan or have someone else matched with him.....Logan is sure he only wants to be matched with Sloane. They were once the golden couple in high school and it seems that they are still a perfect match even all these years and feelings later. But will Sloane be able to open her heart to Logan again, as if he were to leave her again she knows she would never recover.

My heart went out to Sloane as once Logan was gone there was a piece of her missing, and her life just did not work without him in it. She has to make the decision to trust him again and open her heart. It does not hurt that his nephew already calls her Auntie Sloane. This is a quick, entertaining and heartfelt short story with some smexy fun swinging and human burritos added in.

I love this whole series starting with Jan through Nov. thus far and can’t wait read Dec. a matchmaking game has turned everyone game inside out. Matching unsuspecting couples helping them to find their happiness. Sloane is the other half to the twin we met previously, and we are going way back to high school where she dated Logan thinking as we all do that first love will last forever but Logan broke up with her breaking and taking her heart with him. Fast forward sexy Logan is back home with a well meaning but meddling sister who convinces him to be the next Man of the Month for Nov. Sloane isn’t in the mood to go out, but she is at the bar & grill for her sister, sitting at the with the girls when yep you guessed it Logan spots her hoping she is paired to him. He is bold walking (but I like it ) up to their table to say hello and informing he gets to go out with one of them however, Sloane only sees him as the jerk (who broke her heart) he is or was in this case. She notices every woman at the table is looking at him with stars in their eyes and all she can think is I hope he isn’t paired with me although deep down it will hurt to see him with another women. Drum Roll Please ………Phoebe informs that Sloane and Logan are paired his heart soars and her heart drops what a pair. When he takes her to their spot just to talk all the hurt, she felt when he broke her heart so many years ago come rushing back causing her to want to just go home informing him it isn’t a good idea for them to see each other but is this the end of the road for these two or will she forgive and give him another chance as a man?

Overwhelmed with pure joy
This book is about Sloane and Logan. They were the ‘it’ couple in high school, until he broke things off with her, and broke her heart! She never really got over it. So when her twin sister Sam suggested Logan be the bachelor at the next man of the month club get-together, she was furious! Sloane harbours so much heartache, but still finds him ridiculously attractive. What she doesn’t realise is that he too hasn’t forgotten her in all those years. When they get matched together at the monthly meeting, it could be his chance to make amends, regain her trust, and have the future he now hopes for with her. But Sloane is not going to make it easy!
A kiss at an old favourite spot of theirs is almost her undoing, but she stays strong and walks away from what could be. His sister Trish also intervenes in a unique way which draws the couple together in a roundabout kind of way. Things happen quite organically as Sloane finds it difficult to resist and let Logan back into her heart. I guess finding one’s true love in high school really is a rare and special gift.
It was another fun monthly read, where the attractions are magnetic and the chemistry is sizzling-hot. I loved the characters, and can’t wait to read more about them in next month’s love adventure with Logan’s brother Asher. Phoebe could really finally get some love luck of her own! I give this book four and a quarter tree-swinging stars.

Plot: Logan and Sloane were the "it" couple in high school, but he broke up with her and left her behind without an explanation. He's back now and desperately wants to make things work this time around.

Commentary: I did not like this one. I don't like it when there's not a reason for the break-up or when the reason is just "he was dumb and wanted to play around." I know we usually get smarter as we age and have experiences, but his experiences were being with every woman possible, so I don't believe that he's all of a sudden decided to reunite with his one true love high school girlfriend. The character motivation was just off for me.

Sloane, the female lead, is worried she lived her best life in high school. She’s currently stuck in a dead end job with no romantic partner and he best relationship was her high school boyfriend, Logan, the male lead.

Logan has returned to town upon the death of his father and after an injury has eliminated professional football from his ongoing career options. His best relationship was with Sloane in high school and he pushed her away thinking that another one would be easy to come by. It hasn’t been.

When they’re paired by the matchmaker, Logan is delighted, wanting to rebuild a relationship, but Sloane is scared he’ll hurt her again. But they still know each other well enough to help the other with a potential new career and more...

This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a lovely second chance romance. I really empathised with Sloane’s heartbreak and fear, and the concerns she had regarding trying again but felt that, though fast, there was real connection reestablished between them.

'November' by Callie Love and Ann Omasta is part of their Man of the Month Club series and tells the story of Sloane Ford and Logan Fox. Sloan and Logan were the epitome of high school royalty. Sloan was the head cheerleader and Logan was the star quarterback and they were in love. They were even crowned King and Queen at their prom. Everything was wonderful until Logan decided to attend an out of state college in hopes of going pro. Now he is back as a conquering hero after playing in the NFL. Although his career ended early due to a shoulder injury he is still considered a hometown hero. Meanwhile Sloane has just worked dead end jobs since leaving school. Logan is back home and hopes to rekindle his and Sloane's romance. So he agreed to be the Man of the Month and prays to be paired with Sloane.

Ms. Love and Ms. Omasta have written a charming addition to their series. Each story is a standalone and there are no cliffhangers. This story is emotional, with angst, laughs, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a second chance romance.

Sloane was devastated when Logan broke up with her after high school before he went to college. She has never really found anyone that makes her feel like he did. Now he is back in town, he had a job in the NFL and she has never left and has drifted from job to job.

Logan realized he make a stupid mistake breaking off with Sloane back then. He has never found anyone like her or have they made him a fraction of what he did for her. Now he is back and is determined to try to get a second with her. It is the only reason he agreed to be November's Man of the Month.

There is chemistry between the two characters which all leads to some steamy scenes. This is a standalone and do not need to read others in the series to enjoy this story. I enjoy all the books this writing duo puts out.
