Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:
1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin. 2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle. 3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all. 4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return. 5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above. 6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word. 7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home. 8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk. 9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain. 10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

Phoebe and Asher may not have been the best matches per the algorithm, it's obvious that even runner up is an extremely strong match, in this case.
The ending is a bit rushed and the insta-love is crazy but I really liked this final installment to the Man of the Month Club. I appreciated that Phoebe was honest about how she came to be his date... eventually. 😉 Asher, who had already figured it out, shared his own thoughts on the matter. 🔥💜
Don't worry, Holly finds her HEA just fine. 😘 I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
BTW - there's a bonus epilogue for all twelve couples that you have to read but know that it absolutely requires tissues! So much joy, babies, cheers, and tears. 😪🤗💜🎉

Romance trope: matchmaking Series: Man of the Month Club Length: 94 pages
Plot: Playboy Asher can't believe how good Phoebe looks now. He didn't really notice her before, but he sure does now. But even though she says that her program matched them together, she seems hesitant to commit. What is going on with her?
Commentary: I kind of hated that he noticed her after a makeover. That felt cheap. I felt like the tech genius who brought everyone else together deserved better. Also, she was dishonest, which doesn't bode well for someone who really believes in her system. I guess it all worked out for the best.
We have reached the last month and the last bachelor of the year- Asher Fox, notorious bad boy player and brother to Logan Fox!
Phoebe Pike, developer of the matchmaking application has her eye on the bachelor and hopes she is his match but alas Holly is his match but Holly is not available so Phoebe announces her name as his match instead!
Asher is enamoured with the sweet geeky beauty and for the first time ever he wants more than just one night!
Will Phoebe come clean to Asher regarding his match? Will Asher convince Phoebe he chose her for as long as she will have him or will guilt keep them apart?
A lovely conclusion to the series by these two talented authors!
A book I can definitely recommend!

If you read Holly's Fake Date for Christmas, you know Asher was supposed to be matched to Holly according to Phoebe's algorithm and why Phoebe claimed she was the best match. Phoebe feel like a fraud, does this invalidate her research.
Asher is a little surprised by Phoebe, Sloane gave her a make over. He thinks she is sweet and is floored when he finds out she is his first kiss. The more he spends time with her the more he likes her.
Will Phoebe come clean to the group and what will be their reaction? Make sure you down load the bonus epilogue to catch up on the twelve couples.

Her Unexpected Luck - Phoebe was utterly dejected when she wasn’t the match for December, but rather the runner-up. Even though Asher was forced into participating in the Man Of The Man Club, he was elated to see the woman he was matched with. The sparks between them was explosive, but Phoebe’s morals wouldn’t allow her to remain silent about her deception or embark on a relationship with Asher without revealing her secret. It would take Asher’s sheer determination to show Phoebe that they were meant to be together.
I guarantee you will be swept up in the beautiful love story and you will be swooning when Asher decides to fight for what he wants. This amazing storyline, was a perfect ending to the twelve months of couples getting their happily ever after. I really enjoyed reading this story and I know you will feel the same way too.

I love this series, Ann Omasta and Callie Love are great instalove authors and this instalment is just as fun, and sweet as the rest. Piper and Asher aren’t meant to be a match but when his real match is having a bit of a crisis and Piper has a real draw to him, she names herself as his date. However, her guilt over her lie almost ruins not only their relationship but also the future of her App, but as promised a HEA forges through.

I’ve been waiting and wanting Phoebe to get matched! When a problem with Asher’s top match becomes apparent Phoebe steps in. Their match is perfect. I actually didn’t like Asher in the first chapters of the story and was very nervous for Phoebe but it turned out fabulously. They had amazing chemistry and lots of genuine love. He was kind caring and supportive of her and the HEA was wonderful

Ms. Omasta painted a sexy, sweet picture with Asher & Phoebe's story. The characters were so perfect together. Their steamy chemistry sizzled and sparked right off the pages! This was a really great holiday story with a perfect ending!
I was a little upset with this one. What Phoebe did made me a little annoyed. But she deserves love as well. I was hoping this series would end differently but overall I’m happy with what happened. But what is going on with Holly?! I need Hollys Fake Date for Christmas now.
Book 12 and it's finally Phoebe's turn to be matched up ? or is it , Asher is the months bachelor , and he and Phoebe hit it off , but she has to tell him her secret and end it with him , but will it end or are they destined to be together , loved this book and it was well worth the wait for Phoebe's book( but i do hope that we are going to get another year of THE MAN OF THE MONTH CLUB next year)

Another enjoyable read in this series Man of the Month Club. The story was entertaining, the characters fit well together and have great chemistry. I enjoyed this book.
This month's winner for the man of the month club had a big surprise dropped on her. She isn't ready to matched up with the bachelor. So as a good host, Phoebe says she is this month's match with Asher. He knows she is fibbing but does not care. He is taken with Phoebe. They have a great date that night. She comes clean in the morning and puts the brakes on what could be her match. Asher is not giving up without a fight. With a little help, he gets the girl for Christmas. I really enjoyed the series and how well matched the characters were to each other. You will not be disappointed with the books!! After months of being the "bridesmaid" Phoebe has grown tired of never being her algorithm's "best match". Finally, in December she has her chance with handsome Asher, so she grabs the chance, willing to deal with the consequences later. Asher and Phoebe's story is one of regrets and forgiveness - perhaps the perfect themes for December and the holiday season. That it is also a "first time" story which ties it back to the original series just makes it all that much better. Short, hot and sweet, December is the perfect way to end the year.
This is book 12 in this series. I love the way phoebe has been throughout the series. This is a great connection for her and a marvelous ending to this series. Can not wait for more incredible books from these authors

Ann Omasta has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Phoebe and Asher. Phoebe is the creator of the Man of the Month club matchmaking. She has matched eleven couples and is going for the twelfth. Asher is the man of the month and she hopes she is his match. She looks at her information and sees that she has come in second again. Holly is the perfect match for Asher. Asher walks into the bar where the meeting is being held and sees a beautiful woman. She comes up to him and thanks him for being the man of the month. He looks at her and thinks he knows her from somewhere and hopes he hasn't slept with her in the past. “Oh, hi… Glad to be here.” Giving me a knowing grin, she says, “It’s me–– Phoebe Pike.” He is shocked to see her like this. She looks nothing like she had in the past. She looks down at her watch and tells him the meeting needs to start. She starts looking around for Holly, the one who is the perfect match for Asher. She goes to the bathroom to see if Holly is there. When she finds Holly, she tells her that she needs to hurry and get out there since the meeting needs to start. When Holly gets to the table, Phoebe is going to tell her that she is Asher's perfect match but Holly looks sick and pale. Instead of telling her that she is Asher's match, Phoebe tells Holly that she is. After hearing this Holly passed out. Phoebe has never done what she just did and lie about a match. Phoebe has always been the nerd and no one ever saw her any other way. She decides that she is going to have one night with Asher. They go ice skating on their date and then go to his house. Asher kissed her and she told him that it was her first-ever kiss. He is shocked to hear this and thinks she means it is their first kiss. When she tells him no, it is her first kiss. He wants to know why. She tells him that she was the nerd and no matter what she looked like, people still saw her that way. She tells Asher that she wants to be with him. Things get heated when they get to his house. She ends up sleeping with Asher and spends the night with him in front of the fire. Asher doesn't want to end things with Phoebe but the next morning, she is the one who can't wait to leave. Asher tries to talk to her but she doesn't want to listen. She tells him what she did and that she didn't want to stand in the way of his perfect match. She tells him that she is going to tell everyone what she did and she knows they are going to be upset with her. She calls a special meeting of the Man of the Month club and she tells everyone what she did. She is getting her things together to leave when Asher comes in and speakers. Will things work out between Phoebe and Asher? Will the ladies of the club be upset with her? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

The perfect first kiss This was the final book in this series, and I just know I’ll miss these characters! This one was about Phoebe and Asher. She’s the brains behind the entire concept of the Man of the Month Club, thanks to her matchmaking app. It’s come to December, the end of the year, and Phoebe was hoping this month would be hers! She’d been runner-up seven times throughout the year. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, she thought. She had met Asher, December’s bachelor, a couple of times. He’s the gorgeous and older brother of November’s Man of the Month, Logan. They seem to have a very strong connection that she just can’t ignore. However, it’s her childhood friend Holly who’s matched as Asher’s best match! But, as luck would have it, Holly isn’t in a place to accept the match and date with Asher. Quick-thinking has Phoebe take her friend’s place as the top match. Random hook-ups with beautiful women had been Asher’s MO, but he now considers them meaningless and not worth the effort. So when Phoebe made the announcement, he was surprised and even though he’d met her on a few occasions, she looked different to before. She’d somehow made a major transformation from geek to chic. He’s almost certain she stole the date from someone else. To ease his discomfort she assures him that Sloane helped give her a much-needed makeover, and needless to say, Asher really liked what he saw! Things were going to be very interesting! They have great chemistry and really enjoy their time together. They’re sweet and hot, as she openly offers herself to him, in every way. She’s very convincing while he doesn’t want to rush her, but their desperation and hunger for each other is palpable! Everything is perfect until the guilt of what Phoebe did in nabbing the date, eats away at her. The special connection they’ve just discovered could be derailed before it has a chance to really start because of her confession to the other ladies in the group. This is another sweet, funny, steamy and enjoyable read. While I’m sad this series is now finished, I absolutely LOVE how all the previously-matched couples were involved in the story. The bonus epilogue was just perfect – and maybe made me cry a little… I give this book four and three quarter twinkling stars. It has come to the end of the trial year for Phoebe Pike’s Man of the Month Club’s matchmaking application and she has successfully matched eleven couples so far. She has been in second place seven times so far and was really hoping that this month would be her chance. She has been working on this beta testing for over a year, tweaking each part of the application until it is perfect. This is the last time her small group of friends and neighbours will be together and when she checks the final result, she is gutted that it is not her! The winner hasn’t appeared at the gathering yet, even though the bachelor has turned up, so she goes to look for her. The woman finally comes out and Phoebe starts to announce the winner, but when the other woman shows such a shocked look and shakes her head at Phoebe, Phoebe turns around and says she herself is the winner! The bachelor is the very attractive Asher Fox, who she had been talking to comfortably before the announcement. Everyone in the group is excited for Phoebe and Asher decides to take her on a date straight away, before she can change her mind. They go skating at a local ice rink, but Phoebe can’t go any further with the date without revealing that she is a fake and she wasn’t the actual person he had been matched to! However much of a fantastic connection they have with each other, she refuses to go against her morals and has to admit what she did to all the other hopeful women in the group. She refuses to interact with Asher and arranges a meeting with the other participants, but doesn’t realise that Asher will be there and he will be doing all he can to persuade her that they were meant to be, no matter what her application may have originally shown. It was fate that interceded with the match and she deserves every happiness that she has found for others, for herself as well! The beta testing has been amazing and now she will have to decide if she can make the application public an invite others in, or if her own actions will mean her app is a failure. She has been the bridesmaid far too many times and never the bride and she deserves a bit of happiness now and Asher is the man to show it to her. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Man of the Month Club: DECEMBER is the twelfth and last book in this wonderful series. Phoebe Pike is the woman who has developed the matchmaking app and has been testing it over the last eleven months, making successful matches each time. What no one knows is that she has been the runner-up to seven of the matches this year. If Phoebe is honest she actually created the app to in a large part in hopes of being matched to her dream guy and she is sure that December is that match. But as it turns out she is once again the second best match to Asher Fox. Asher is the older brother of Logan, who was matched with Sloane in November. Asher is a perpetual bachelor who is handsome, big, built, charming and sexy. Asher and Phoebe have met a couple of times in the past and for Phoebe she felt the chemistry. So when it turns out that her friend Holly is the match and she is the runner-up again she is more than a little disappointed. But when Holly is sick Phoebe takes the opportunity and announces her own name. Will she and Asher end up being the best match or will they turn out to be wrong?
I really loved this last story in the series. Phoebe is such a great characters and Asher is a lot of fun, especially as he tries to impress Phoebe and his usual moves just do not work that well so he ends up having to scramble a bit and be real.
It took Phoebe eleven months to get her man, even though she actually wasn't his match. It was to be someone else but that girl wasn't feeling good so Phoebe jumped at the opportunity to go on the date with Asher. She met Asher earlier and they had a great connection. Asher decided to be he man of the month for December. He was hoping that he was matched with Pheobe. They had a good connection. after she announced that the match was her. Asher was never happier. On their date and having a fantastic time when Phoebe tells him it's her first time for everything. Then after she confessed she was to be the runner up but he wasn't having at. Phoebe had a meeting to tell everyone but no one was uoset. Asher stepped in to help explain and had a vote, if she should mistletoe seeing Asher and stop this match making all together. Phoebe had her app go live. Asher was there. Once it launched people were being matched right and left. Not only was her app a huge success but her relationship was a great success.

This contemporary romance was an amazing read from the beginning to the end. The story line for this story was fantastically put together and the characters were perfectly put together and I love it. Ann Omasta has written another brilliant book and I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
'Man of the Month Club: December' by Callie Love and Ann Omasta is part of their Man of the Month Club series and tells the story of Phoebe Pike, who has designed a matchmaking app, and Asher Fox, December's bachelor. Phoebe has the makings of a very popular app which she has been beta testing with a small group and it is proving quite successful. When Phoebe is paired with the December bachelor, Ashton, everyone is happy for her. However, Phoebe wasn’t the true match, her friend Holly was. Holly panicked and didn't want to go through with the date, so Phoebe stepped in. Phoebe wasn't too disappointed, she had always liked Ashton. Will this effect her app? What happens if everyone finds out?
Ms. Love and Ms. Omasta have written a delightful addition to their series. Each story is a standalone and there are no cliffhangers. This story has laughs, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read with their glass of wine.
