Okay, I absolutely loved this one! The first one was good but holy…. I don’t want to spoil anything but the plot twists and secrets that happen are so good! Things are finally happening and had me on the edge of my seat (I was actually laying in bed reading it on my kindle but you know what I mean) I am so excited for the third after the ending of this one! I need to know what happened!!

Previously, the novel stir some exciting dark romance between a ruthless mafia Viktor Manarch and an innocent girl Ava O'Brien who had a debt to pay and Viktor made her a proposition to spend a year with him and every week with him will cross an amount of the debt. But only one problem is that she is an outsider of the Mafia world and being with him might cost Ava her life. The story goes on, both of them fall for each other but the sudden appearance of Viktor's ex-girlfriend Fiona shatters their dream of being together. When Ava learned the truth that Viktor and Fiona slept together and now Fiona is carrying his child, Ava leaves Viktor. Now Viktor's father broke a deal with the Irish that includes marrying Fiona and if don't he would kill Ava. This split the clan in half and to save Ava's life and bring her back to himself , Viktor can stand against his father if it means war then war it is. But in this part (REVENGE), we will get an amazing surprise that will change everyone's fate and life in this book.
This novel explores the fear and insecurity of people associated with being committed but at the same time, it is a magical story that reveals the essence of dark romance, love, and bond. Due to the vividness of imagination, this simple yet insightful story is considered to be one of my favorites till now. It's a must-read and I recommend the book if you want to explore some true love in the world of dark Mafia.

Dark Mafia Romance. Ava is stuck. She loves Viktor but his father is pressuring him to marry another woman. The other woman in question is also supposed to be carrying his baby. Ava knows that this feud between Viktor and his father is dangerous so she runs, and disappears. However, what she doesn't know is that its not a threat to Viktor his father has threatened it is a threat against her. He has put a hit out on her if Viktor is seen near her. In order to save her Viktor agrees to marry the other woman.
Desperate to start over Ava fumbles through falling back on her strength from growing up in the projects. She finds and apartment and a job but then she finds out something else. Something she isn't sure she can keep from Viktor.
This is a great sequel, we see Viktor unraveling without Ava, but he just can't seem to comprehend that she wants to be his partner. It isn't until she agrees to come back to him that Ava seems to grow more of a backbone. She is still overwhelmed by her love for Viktor but now she has something else to fight for.
This book is faced paced with a lot going on. We really see Oliver, Viktor's brother shine in this book and take on a more active role than sidekick. While it may not seem like much happens in this book (although I beg to differ) there is a lot of set up and a shift in the dynamic between Viktor and Ava.
This book also ends on a cliffhanger and I'm not sure when the third and final book are supposed to be released but I'm hoping its soon. The advanced teaser at the end of this book is full of shocking information.
I really think both of these books could use a good editor or a good go through with spellcheck and grammerly. The mistakes are getting harder to ignore.

This is the second book in The Monarch Clan Series following Ava and Viktor. Essentially Ava was forced into a fake relationship with Viktor in the first book to pay off her father's gambling debt and to help Viktor secure his position of power within the clan. There were twists and turns and just when the faking seemed like maybe it could be the real thing, Bam-ultimate betrayal and it all goes sideways.
Which brings us to where our characters are now in book 2. I liked book 1 don't get me wrong but I Loved this one! The story continues after the betrayal is brought into the open. We get to see the tremendous character growth from both of our main characters. Ava changes from a mild, worried wallflower to a fierce and powerful woman who stands up for herself and those she cares about and refuses to be pushed into anything she's not ready for. Viktor while slower to change is learning there is nothing more important in life but love and family and we see him learning to change destructive behaviors and growing into a man that is worthy of Ava.
This one had a lot more action, angst and drama as well as steamminess. Not only is there clan drama but love triangle-relationship drama. I really enjoyed Ava's journey. I loved Viktor's brother Oliver in this one too. We got to see more of him and he seems like a great guy and I'm hoping well get to see his love story in the future.
Overall, I'm hooked. Read this book in just over a day and now I can't wait for the next book in the series. There is a cliffhanger but hoping well get our HEA soon.

I think reading mafia romances have officially ruined me. I cheered at the declaration of war. Possession was sweet, easy, and calm compared to this! Everything has gotten worse, and only continues to get worse. No one is more stubborn than Ava. Does her rational mind not calculate how dangerous everything is? That she is in danger? I received this book through ARC.
What can I say. I loved it. The Manarch Clan series gives you crime romance and suspense. I actually read this through another app the whole series. But having book 1 and 2 published a lot has changed. It has you loving Viktor and hating him for his stupid decisions. It has you loving Ava. She has always been so sweet but stubborn. She doesn’t take any crap. She doesn’t want to listen but In heart she knows Viktor will always be there for her. They are true soulmates. The way they met set it up for a power couple. I love how each character has a part in the story. Some you will hate others you will love. Marco seems to be the glue. His love for his brother and his love and admiration for Ava. He knows if they are apart all hell will break loose.
It gives everyone POV in this series and I love that in a book. Because you always know what that other person is feeling instead of just one sided.
It does not tell the end of Ava and Viktor’s love story but it does have you wanting more.
I can’t wait for the next chapter in The Manarch Clan series.

REVENGE picks up two weeks after Possession and Viktor and Ava’s story continues. As mafia stories go, it is a little tame. No real torture, massacres, etc. There are a few warehouses robbed and a fire, but even when a mafia war starts, not much blood and death. It’s high on the steamy scale, however.
Viktor is still playing the possessive card like a champ. Ava doesn’t put up with him, then she does, then she doesn’t, then she does. He knows she is in danger from his enemies and asks her to cooperate to keep herself and the children safe. She cooperates, then she doesn’t, then she does, then she doesn’t.
It’s a pretty good story with some holes in it, but that’s not a distraction. What was a concern to me was that there were a lot of plot twists revealed at the end without any build up. They are great twists, and make me eager for the next book, but the author could have gotten a little more mileage out of them.

I LOVEDDD THIS BOOK!
I cannot get enough of Victor and Ava!!! I read this book sooo quickly, it draws you in and I was just dying for Victor to find her! He was literally breaking me heart having to deal with that vermin, Fiona. The whole storyline was just off the scale amazing and the ending/sneak peek to the third book, OH MY GOD! I did not see those twists coming, it just all hits you at once! I am shocked. I could cry it ends on another cliffhanger but you are keeping me on my toes lol. Cant waittt to read the next book and find out what happens!
The spice in this book was 🥵🥵 sooooooooo hot! Victor is just such an dominant asshole in and out of the bedroom and we love it!
I also fell in love with Oliver in this book, oh my god he is the biggest sweetheart! Cant wait to read more about him!

Revenge (The Monarch clan book 2)
This is the second book in this series by this author. This is the continued story of Ava and Viktor. This book draws you in from the first page and will keep you reading long into the night. This story has lots of twists and turns and shocking moments, This book also ends in a cliffhanger ending so be warned. This story is so hot and steamy, it sets the pages alight as you read. This is a fantastic addition to this series and I can’t wait to read more.

While I enjoyed the second book in this series and look forward to the third (and I believe last) book in this series, I am also troubled. I was hoping for a more in depth look at the relationships between Viktor and Ava as well as Viktor and Oliver. It's also a bit confusing why their father despises his sons so much that he would betray them. Hopefully the third book will help with this. The relationship between Viktor and Ava is concerning too as they seem to solve all their problems with sex. Life is not that easy, most times a conversation is actually needed.
I was distracted by the number of grammatical errors and word omissions. I am reading from an advanced copy so I do hope before this book became final that many of these errors were corrected.

I am still enjoying the series. I like that she got a back bone now and just not taking anything he says. I cant believe how his father is acting and why they havent stopped him yet. Then we have all the crazy people in the story trying to stop them from being together. I thought we were going to get some where with this book it still is at a standstill. I was not expecting the ending at all. I am looking forward to see how this will end.

My Thoughts:
In book two we pick up with Ava still paying off her debt to Viktor but along the way they’ve ended up falling for each. Wow - I didn't think it would get crazier than the first book and somehow it did! The passion is definitely still there with Viktor and Ava, but there is so much more riding on both of them. Thankfully they will always find there way back to each other.
Great writing, loved the POVs, especially loved that we got some insight from Oliver. Overall a great continuation of the first book.

Oh my gosh! This is book 2 in the Manarch Clan trilogy and is my favorite at this point. You can definitely see the character growth in both Ava and Viktor as well as side characters. The storyline is more intense as more is revealed and comes to light. This story completely intrigues and captivates it's readers and pulls you in relentlessly. Again, (this is a trilogy remember) Revenge ends on a cliffhanger and what a cliffhanger it is. I can't wait for the rest of their journey.

An enjoyable second book in this series The Manarch Clan and my first. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to reading more. The story will hold your attention, full of suspense, twists and turns. I am looking to see what will happen in the next installment.

frustrating
Book 2 didn’t accomplish much in the total story.
Too bad.
I had high hopes that they would pull the story together, but now I have to wait (if I really want to now) to find out how this will end.

I loved the suspenseful nature of the storyline. I found it riveting. The characters were fascinating as was the drama surrounding them. I can’t wait to read the next book. I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.

Another fantastic instalment in the The Manarch Clan series. Deliciously dark and dangerous. Great character development, and storyline evolution. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

I love this trilogy
I will be so sad after reading the next book. She can tell an interesting story. Victor, Aisling, and Niko are her whole life. It is all on the way to a happy ending.

After the bombshell reveal in book 1, Ava leaves Viktor as his father demands a marriage between him and Fiona. But Viktor cant let Ava go, especially when he discovers what she is hiding too. As secrets begin to unravel danger is ever present, Will Viktor be able to keep those he loves safe? Well written great story building and engaging characters that draw you in from the get go! ends on a cliffhanger of sorts,
