FROM BOOKBUB: When police officer Morgan finds an unconscious, amnesiac stranger on her ranch, she gives him a place to stay. As he starts falling for her, danger descends upon McKenzie Ridge, forcing the mystery man to confront his true identity. An unputdownable romance!

Stephanie St. Klaire is relatively new to the writing scene. Forgotten is her third book. Each book in the Mackenzie Ridge series can be read as a stand alone but they each enhance your knowledge of the characters & their history.
Forgotten is the story of Police Officer Morgan Jameson & the amnesiac found wounded & wandering her ranch. Named Guy by the group since he couldn't remember his life before that moment, he quickly became important to Morgan. But he's a stranger. There's a lot of vandalism going on at the ranch. Is Guy responsible or someone else?
Ms. St Klaire has developed a writing style that grabs you at the first scene & will not let go. You are pulled into the story both emotionally & intellectually. Reading this story, I felt every emotion & found myself smiling & chucking at Granny Lou & the talent show just after being angry & upset at Dunny from the scene before. The characters are well developed & really, are just that, "characters". Sweet at times, sarcastic, witty, & strong willed, each of the women complimented each other & made up a tight knit group of friends. The men are developed as strong, sexy, alpha men that were looking out for others & getting caught unawares by their emotions. Each book has an element of suspense that keeps you hooked into the story. I could not put this down & had to keep reading until done. I can't wait for the next book!
I have been with Stephanie st. klaire since her first book and I'm so glad that I have. Her writing continues to suck me in right up to the last word. She weaves a tale of romance and intrigue together so well. And has you guessing up until the very end. I didn't see the twist in this at all. These characters are well written and I loved Morgan's journey through this. She is a guarded person but loves her extended family unconditionally. And to let someone new in is difficult for her. But her attraction to this new stranger is undeniable. And the new stranger is even a stranger to himself. But that is all reveled. I loved Guy. This is a third book in the series and can be read as a stand a lone. All the characters from the previous books are back and as entertaining as ever. Granny Lou and her special package are still making me laugh. And the epilogue...aggh.

SYNOPSIS: Morgan Jameson’s life becomes anything but routine when an unconscious man is found on her property. When her handsome stranger wakes up as a mystery without an identity to recall, Morgan takes him in. The mystery broadens when endless chaos and mischief lands in McKenzie Ridge.
Working on Morgan’s ranch, to earn his keep, the mystery man can’t help but feel at home. When Morgan catches his eye, and holds his heart, he’s content with not knowing who he really is. That is, until it is all threatened.
Shots are fired, and danger ensues but is it a result of the new guy in town, or at the hands of one of their own? One thing is certain; it isn’t just love on the line, its lives too. Does love triumph or end in tragedy in McKenzie Ridge.
MY THOUGHTS: This is the third book in the McKenzie Ridge series and can be read as a stand-alone, however it makes the journey so much more enjoyable if you read Rescued and Hidden first.
I have read all three books and each book is a little different, so you don’t feel like you are getting cookie cutter characters. I really loved the story of Morgan and Guy and how their love story developed. The connection was immediate and feelings couldn’t be denied. Their characters are well developed and the story line is so intriguing. There is a lot of mystery and suspense, laugh out loud moments, and heart breaking twists. The supporting characters add to the twists in the story and provide much entertainment. I can’t wait for the next book in the series and I really wonder who it will be about!
I highly recommend this terrific series of a small Oregon town and the colorful characters that reside there. Pick up the series! You won’t regret it!

3.5☆ This was an interesting story but it often dragged, there was confusion as to whose thoughts I was reading, there are inconsistencies and unnecessary information or repetition, and it needs editing. There are an amazing group of friends, troublesome events and dangerous ones, a couple mysteries to solve, twists, a slow building connection, plenty of steamy sexy times, love, and a satisfying HEA. The epilogue is mostly a preview of the next book.
Wow! I mean wow! Forgotten is the best Installment of the McKenzie Ridge series! From the first page I was giggling and then on the edge of my seat with the instant mystery. Stephanie St. Klaire knocked it out of the park into another time zone with this one. These characters are so loveable both the old and the new that you can't help but become entirely immersed in their world.
You will quickly feel like part of the family and consider these characters as though they are close friends. Forgotten is a beautiful love story with a side of humor and major helping of mystery. You will be guessing the whole way though only to be slapped in the face with the truth that you never saw coming.
I adore this series and I can not wait for what comes next in the series! -Mackenzie
Stephanie St. Klaire couldn't paint a better, more picturesque scene as what Pinecrest provides. Welcome back to McKenzie Ridge, with its riveting storyline wherein every breathless intimate moment I experienced both intense heat & extreme anxiety, because within each moment I expected some heart-stopping tragedy to occur. Stephanie kept the suspense high & the heat so tangible you could feel the pages pulsate! I don't think it's possible for me to become any more invested in each & every character of this lovely town, and just when you think you've read every scenario imaginable in a hot suspenseful romance, Stephanie kicks it up a notch and throws in a cliffhanger of epic proportions! Be prepared for a wild ride when you saddle up with FORGOTTEN!
Ms. St Klaires 3rd novel in the Mackenzie Ridge series doesn't disappoint as old friends mingle with new friends to give a dynamite story that pulls at all your feelings on all levels! There's hot men, sassy, independent women combined with Granny's orneriness lol, love, passion, suspense, intrigue, to make a 5 star read so hot I couldn't put it down til I finished it!! Well written with great characters & fantastic storyline. Loved it!!
Lots and lots of suspense in their little town of McKenzie Ridge with a mystery that needs to be solved before anyone gets killed. And before hearts get shattered from the unknown.
3 book into Mackenzie Ridge and I am falling more and more in love with this town, the characters who are becoming more like family and the lovely writing style of Stephanie St. Klaire.
I knew Morgan's story would be especially touching even after Meg and Colton and I was not disappointed, there was just the right amount of romance, suspense and drama for me to not put this down until I finished it.
Morgan is a sweetie, tough when she needs to be but also not afraid to show her girly side I love that about her. Guy/Beck is just the right match for Morgan after she had her heart broken years ago Beck comes along at the right time and falls at Morgans feet literally....lol
I loved it and I can't wait to revisit Mackenzie Ridge soon also a series of books on Carrigan's hot Irish brothers would be awesome :-)
This is the 4th offering from Stephanie St Klaire, 3rd in this series. When I started this series I wasn’t expecting as much as I got. I went in with a less critical eye and lower expectations because she was a newly published author and you don’t usually see the kind of story depth and flow as some of the more seasoned authors. Well, I was quickly proven wrong and devoured that first book like someone was going to take it from me. Then came the 2nd and the sun shone even brighter. And now with the 3rd, you can really see the growth and the attention to the plot and characters. This story was told at a great pace and the characters written so well that the reader really makes a connection. I was pulled completely into that world. And The suspense played out perfectly and with good flow. And Morgan got her “guy”. The real brilliance was the ending. It really gets you right in the feels and sets the mood for the next story. I am truly and completely in love with McKenzie Ridge and all the residents. I want to move there and become BFF’s with Jessie, Sam, Morgan, Meg and all the other ladies. I want to have a drink with Granny Lou and eat her snickerdoodles. I can’t wait for the next story!
Stephanie St. Klaire's latest book in the Mackenzie Ridge series, Forgotten, is her best one yet. Ms. St. Klaire grabs you by the throat with the first words and takes you on the ride of your life. This story is about Morgan, a police officer who also owns the Pinecrest Dude Ranch, and a mysterious man with compelling blue eyes whose found unconscious and injured on her property. The man awakes in the hospital and doesn't remember who he is or where he came from. Morgan and the others of their close knit group do their best to help him recover all while trying to solve a series of accidents happening around the ranch. As Morgan and "Guy" work closely together to find the culprit it's obvious to everyone but Morgan that they're perfect for one another. Morgan starts to believe in happily ever after when disaster strikes in the form of "Guy's" identity and the impossibility of their future. Ms. St. Klaire reminds us that with love anything is possible then leaves you in tears with her cliff hanger ending. This book is a MUST read!
Forgotten, the third in the McKenzie Ridge series, Stephanie St. Klaire tells is the story of Morgan Jameson. When Morgan finds a handsome stranger hurt on her ranch, she insists he stay with her as recovers. “Guy” as he is called seeks out Morgan, not denying the attraction they have for each other. Yet when mysterious things begin happening on the ranch, it becomes apparent, someone out to hurt him. Ms. St. Klaire has written a wonderful story of mystery and romance and brings back the people of McKenzie Ridge we have fallen in love with.
I liked the blurb and the plot about a man without a memory. But the execution how to discover who he is was done really bad: most of the main and secondary characters had been living in that small town since childhood. The heroine' farm had been in the family for generations, so you would suppose that they know people in the surrounding area and all or at least of the farms in let's say a 10 miles radius. Guy arrived on horseback, I would say that limits the distance to five miles. And the police are not capable to ask around and discover inconsistencies even when the steward of Guy's farm is on vacation? The story is too drawn out for my liking, and the ending was rushed. It can be read as a stand-alone but that is tiresome as there are ten secondary characters right in the first three chapters and it has two POVs alternating each chapter. The book ended at 80% of my kindle, the rest was preview of the books to come. Not my cup of tea.
Loved my Trip back to McKenzie ridge, Stephanie St Klaire really knocked it out of the park with this one. The mystery behind Guys appearance on the ranch kept me on the edge and the growing love story between Guy and Morgan was so sweet and a few times just a tad .....hot and bothered. Sprinkle in just the Right amount of humor and you have the best story pretty much ever. Have always felt she had the makings of a hallmark movie, now not so sure thinking McKenzie Ridge should be a full fledged TV series !!!!!!!!

Forgotten: The McKenzie Ridge Series Book 3 is by Stephanie St. Klaire. Stephanie has a very high standard to compete with as her first two books are excellent. All I can say is that her third book equals or surpasses that standard. In an extended series, the quality is sometimes compromised in the books that follow the first in the series. I am glad to say that Stephanie’s books do not do that. This book is about Morgan. Morgan is a police officer in McKenzie Ridge. That was her first choice of career. In addition, she has taken on the family ranch and all it entails when her parents retired. She runs a horse-riding school, a rustic dinner restaurant, a dude ranch as well as running the ranch as a certified ranch. A long-time friend and ranch worker, Duncan Haines or Dunny, runs the ranch for her. Morgan gets notification that a man has been found on her property and is in the hospital. He is unconscious and has no identification on him. There is nothing to tell why he was on her property to begin with. When he regains consciousness, he as amnesia. Since he cannot be released without supervision, she volunteers to let him stay at her ranch. She had been immediately attracted to him when she first saw him. Her friends try to find out who he is. Guy, as he was named by Granny Lou, was distressed to find that no one was looking for him. However, he adapted well to the ranch and as soon as he was able, set out to help where he could. Dunny was jealous of him and gave him the worse and dirtiest jobs; but Guy just did them without complaint. In the evenings, he sat with Morgan and they talked. He was attracted to her but until he knew who he was, he couldn’t take her as his own. Meanwhile, strange things are happening on the ranch. Fences were down in various places on the ranch and they seemed to be coming a lot more than normal, the pigs broke out of their pens, a fire broke out in the winery, etc. Blake, the police chief, became involved because of his friendship with Morgan and he felt something was going to happen, something he wouldn’t like. What could it be and whose fault was it?

I love the way Stephanie St. Klaire begins the stories in this series. Each one is so unique! You really need to read them.
The series continues with Morgan’s story. Morgan Jameson, McKenzie Ridge deputy and owner of Pinecrest, a working ranch and tourist Dude Ranch, is enjoying being with friends when word comes that a body has been found on the ranch. Morgan is irresistibly drawn to the injured stranger even though he has no known past. She offers him a place to recuperate, but is Pinecrest a safe place for them to be? Are the mishaps that have plagued the ranch really just harmless or is there something sinister behind them?
Beckman McCain, AKA Guy, feels as if he’s where he is meant to be. While he is recuperating, his feelings for Morgan grow deeper every day, but are the troubles Pinecrest is having because of him and who is trying to kill him? What is in his past that he is afraid to remember?
Once Beck’s real world intrudes on the reality he has created in McKenzie Ridge, will this be end to the idyllic life he has found, will he now be safe or will the threats against him continue, and will he and Morgan get their chance at an HEA? This is not only a story of love but mystery and intrigue.
Ms. St. Klaire writes an intense, intriguing, suspenseful romance. Her stories are real page turners, easy flow, full of action and emotions, with strong characters. The males are solid alphas with a deep-seated sense of protection for those close to them. The females are strong and independent with intense loyalty to those they care about.
Each of Ms. St. Klaire’s books takes you on an amazing ride. You will truly become involved in each of her stories, finding them hard to put down. She makes you feel as if you are invested in the lives of her characters. The outcomes of each of her tales are well worth the ride! I highly recommend this and all of Ms. St. Klaire’s books!
I volunteered to leave an unbiased review for a complimentary copy of this book.
Morgan Jameson's life gets turned upside down when a mysterious stranger is found unconscious on her property. Having no-one declare him missing and the man not knowing who he is, Morgan offers him a place to stay for a while. However, the longer he stays around, the more dangerous things become. Can Morgan and her mystery man figure out who is targeting him, so they can have a shot at happy ever after; or will discovering her mystery man's name tear them apart?
This is the first book I've read by Ms. St Klaire, and I've got to say that this story does not disappoint. Right from the beginning, this book was riveting, fast-paced and made me laugh, as Morgan has such great friends that need her help. The way they were talking about delivering something was quite amusing, and had me reading quickly wanting to discover just what they were delivering. Turns out it wasn't what I was thinking. However, it was the moment when the hero entered this story where things really got interesting and where this book became a real page turner.
As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories and everything that happens to the hero and heroine throughout this story. The person targeting the hero causes some huge trouble that threatens both their lives and those moments had me on the edge-of-my-seat, wondering whether everything would turn out for the best, because there were some close calls. However, the dialogue wasn't all intense. There was plenty of playful banter between the main and secondary characters, especially Jesse and Granny Lou. Both are absolute hoots with Jesse constantly trying to get a rise out of Blake and Granny Lou being the elderly resident of McKenzie Ridge that loves to have fun and do a bit of match-making.
I really enjoyed both the main characters, but it was the secondary characters in Morgan's friends and Granny Lou that made this story all that much more. Their dialogue and the support they offer each other proves just how good it is to be a part of a small town. As for Morgan, she's strong, brave and I liked how determined she is to help the hero. Can she along with her partner, Blake, find the person causing all the trouble for the hero?
Moreover, the heroine faces some tough challenges such as wondering if she can trust someone she's known for a long time when he has something against her mystery man, and the decisions she has to make concerning the hero. When they learn the truth of the hero's identity, will she take a chance on him or let him go? While the hero, I felt sorry for him at times, because of the tough decisions he had to make and how frustrating it is for him not to be able to remember. When he does begin to remember, how can he be sure that nothing bad will happen? Yet, what I liked most about the hero was how protective he was of the heroine.
Overall, Ms. St Klaire has penned a fantastic romantic suspense in this book, which had my pulse pounding at times due to the suspense, had me swooning because of the hero's adoration for the heroine and delivered some hot sex scenes that did justice to this couple's intense chemistry. The way this story ended was wonderful, as the hero was determined to fight for their love and show Morgan that nothing can keep them apart. However, although things ended well for the hero and heroine, the epilogue left me reeling with shock. Will a certain secondary character be all right? I would recommend Forgotten by Stephanie St. Klaire, if you enjoy romantic suspense or books by authors Elle James, Susan Stoker or Pamela Clare. Just make sure when you do read this book to have some tissues close by, as you may need them!
Forgotten is #3 in Ms. St. Klaire's McKenzie Ridge series. I'm giving 4 1/2 stars. I am enjoying this series. Full of romance, drama and a mystery to boot. Forgotten had me on the edge of my seat. The first page had me laughing out loud. And the ending had me teary. Ms. St. Klaire had me with the mystery. I didn't see that coming. I totally thought it was someone else. And, as always, I loved seeing what my favorite McKenzie Ridge residents were up to. I'm anxiously awaiting #4 in McKenzie Ridge. I loved the first two, but Forgotten might be my favorite, so far.
Officer Morgan Jameson, 'Morgie' to her friend's life is turned upside down when an unconscious man is found on her property. When her handsome stranger wakes up without an identity. Or memories, McKenzie Ridge has a mystery on their hands. As Morgan takes him in.
Working on Morgan's ranch to earn his keep, the mystery man, dubbed Guy, can't help but feel at home at the ranch. And especially with Morgan. And is content not knowing who he is. That is, until all is threatened. Who is after him? One of McKenzie Ridge's own? Or someone else?
Talk about a Who Done It!! Strange things are happening at Pinecrest. Fences are down. Cattle are escaping. Pigs are running wild. If that isn't strange enough, a man is found injured in a field. No one, including himself knows anything about him. Things really start heating up in McKenzie Ridge.
Morgan takes the stranger they refer to as "guy" into her home. After all, he was found on her land. Still clueless of who he is he goes to work helping repair damages that are getting worse. Soon they are ducking bullets and putting out fires. Is it linked to "guy"? Are there to separate situations? Most importantly, who done it and why??
What made Forgotten such a thriller was the author's ability to change my mind. I was dead set on it being this one person and then I would change my mind. A little while later I am screaming that the original person is guilty. My "suspect" is putting all of his cards on the table doing some really whacked things. And then I wasn't sure again. I was done for. I wasn't going to bed until I knew all the facts. Holy Magical Mystery--total shocker!!
As with Stephanie St Klaire’s other books this one grabs you and holds you until the end. McKenzie Ridge’s group of friends is back and as charming and fun as ever. Dawson and Sam and Colton and Megan have found their HEA’s. Now it may be Morgan’s turn. Deputy Morgan Jameson finds a mysterious man wandering around her ranch, he appears to have amnesia and has no clue where he’s or what his name is. Morgan decides to take him in in hopes of helping him find himself. As with Ms St Klaires other books, enter the twist. Around the time of “Guy” showing up, vandalism strikes McKenzie Ridge. Is it the work of our unknown boarder, or perhaps a local? Shots are fired, Morgan seems to be losing her heart and Guy has no problem figuring out who he is if he can stay with Morgan longer. But can they forget about a perhaps dangerous past when love and lives are on the line? Like her first two books this is a read it until the end, don’t put it down book. It will keep you excited, laughing, especially with Granny Lou and the talent show, and guessing what will happen next! I can’t wait to read the last two books in the series.
Loved this book. 3rd in the A McKenzie Ridge Novel. Steamy, hot, emotional read. Morgan Jameson is an officer and rancher. Very proud of running her family's ranch, but finding a unconscious man on her property she does not expect. To add to the mystery man he doesn't know who he is. But things get more interesting going forward and downright dangerous. One look from the stranger and Morgan feels something for him which is totally crazy. Not knowing what to call him. Granny Lou dubs him Morgan's Guy aka Guy.
She offers him to stay at the ranch, and things become very cozy. They both feel the heat building.
He doesn't know what brought him to Morgan, and he doesn't care. It feels right. That's until pieces of his accident come back to him. Then it all comes back. What life does he want? All the pieces of the puzzle come together. He finds out who he really is and what happened to him.
To see what happens buy this book. I highly recommend this book, and the two before it. Need Kleenex for sure.
This is by far my favorite book in the series. Stephanie is an amazing author and this book totally exceeded my expectations. I sighed, swooned, laughed, bite my nails and cried with Morgan and "Guy's" story. As it's expected from her, a little suspense and sexiness is added to the plot but the romance stays as the main theme in the story. The gang gives a little something extra that definitely makes this series unique and adds to the reading experience.
A mystery guy appears in Morgan's ranch and she decides to take care of him until he regains his memory. Strange things have been happening around the ranch, which only intensify with the arrival of Guy. This has everyone on high alert. As the days go by, Morgan and Guy's relationship grows closer and their attraction undeniable, but how long will the dream last? This book is a standalone, but I highly recommend the previous books for your reading pleasure
Best book of stephanie's yet. Guy finds himself in an unfamiliar town after taking a tumble from his horse, hitting his head and getting amnesia. With no recollection of who he is or where he's from he settles in to mckenzie ridge, the only thing he knows for sure is his attraction to Morgan. Morgan has been hurt before and doesn't trust or love easily so why is she so drawn to guy? She doesn't even know him, heck even he doesn't know him. Add in something sinister lurking, lots of problems on the ranch a jealous friend and an upcoming wedding and you have the perfect recipe for a tense action packed read full of suspense mystery and intrigue. The book had a lovely romantic story ruining through it for all you sentimental types and lots of suspense for those who like the grittier storylines and all our beloved characters from the previous book. A story I truly loved thank you for giving me a wonderful read stephanie.
