After running for his life and hiding from killers, James Blake is ready to fight back once and for all in this international thriller series finale.
James Blake is no stranger to mortal danger. But to ensure his family’s security, the conspiracy threatening their lives must be exposed once and for all. James must return to Italy to confront those seeking to destroy his loved ones. Forces from around the world, from Washington to Munich, London to Tijuana, are ranged against him.
As the mystery begins to unravel, a shattering revelation emerges. Dark secrets have survived down the centuries and are in the hands of those who threaten not only James and his family, but the entire world . . .
I'm the author of the James Blake Thriller series (TAKE NO MORE, REGRET NO MORE and FORGIVE NO MORE) and the psychological thrillers EACH DAY I WAKE and SUGAR FOR SUGAR. A third psychological thriller HERE THE TRUTH LIES is now available. I'm also the author of the the sci fi thrillers DOUBLE BIND and, my latest, JESSICA 8.
An avid reader from an early age - my grandfather ran a mobile lending library in Birmingham - I was hooked from the first moment I discovered the treasure trove of books left to my parents. I was a university academic for many years, latterly at University of Liverpool. Now, as a full-time writer, my goal is to add to the magic of the wonderful words and stories I discovered back then. I live in the Wirral, UK.
Wow! I know that I have read this back to front, I do have the first 2 still to read, but I really really enjoyed it! Yes, there were a lot of characters, and I expect that I will get the names sorted once I start book 1. I could follow it quite easily, even at 3.25am! I just couldn't stop reading it. The book is full of action, suspicion, backstabbing and fear, I literally held my breath a couple of times! (love it when a book does that) Lots of dialogue, short chapters and amazingly so, no swearing at all!
And so ends my journey through the James Blake thrillers. This third installment ties up all the loose ends from the first two, but not before throwing a few more into the mix. It's action packed, with a bit more focus needed compared to the previous two which were very easy to read and get through quickly. Some of the story seemed a bit outlandish compared to the rest of the series, but I still enjoyed it and found it a worthwhile read. I'm glad I picked up the first book when I did, and am also glad I read books two and three back to back, the story stayed fresh in my mind and made it a bit more complete.
James Blake has spent a long time running, hiding, and trying to protect the people he loves. In this final book, he makes a powerful decision: he will no longer live in fear. To keep his family safe, James must uncover the truth behind a dangerous conspiracy that has followed him across borders and nearly destroyed his life.
The story takes readers on an international journey, moving through places like Italy, Washington, Munich, London, and even Tijuana. The global scale of the threat makes the tension feel real and constant, and it’s clear that James is facing enemies who are powerful, organized, and ruthless.
As the mystery unfolds, shocking secrets come to light, secrets that have survived for centuries and are now in the hands of people capable of causing massive harm. The stakes rise steadily, not just for James and his family, but for the world itself.
Seb Kirby does a great job keeping the story easy to follow while maintaining suspense. The action scenes are gripping, the pacing is strong, and the emotional weight of James’s struggle adds depth to the thriller elements. This book delivers a satisfying and dramatic ending to the series.
a fantastic end to the trilogy! Following Julia and James (and now also their baby boy) as they continue to hide out in witness protection form those who almost destroyed them and still seek to do so is a tense read that will keep you up way past a decent hour to reach a point you feel you can stop reading (for me this was the end of the book!). The conspiracies mount and are gradually either discarded or proven, the couple find themselves running again, this time in opposite directions and again with little way of staying in touch and no real reason to trust anyone they come into contact with. James sets off to Florence to try and put a stop to the people determined to put a stop to him. the FBI and police are hard to trust following revelations of corruption and the characters get further embroiled in situations that make you want to scream at them! nail biting, thrilling and twisted right to the very last pages. I would recommend reading books 1 and 2 first to get the full backstory, impact and the implications of everything that unfold in this final episode.
Forgive no more by Seb Kirby. James Blake and his family can only be safe if the truth about the conspiracy threatening their lives is brought into the full light of day. Follow James in this intriguing thriller as the conspiracy widens and he must return to Italy to confront those seeking to destroy his family. Forces from around the world, from Washington and Tijuana to Munich and London, are ranged against him. As the mystery comes to a resounding climax, he discovers that dark secrets have survived down the centuries and are in the hands of those who threaten all those dear to him. A fantastic read with some great characters. Blake and Julia are still my favourite characters. This is the last book in this trilogy which is a shame as I really enjoy reading. Lots of action to keep you on the edge of your seat. 5*. Highly recommended.
The conclusion of the story of James Blake, an everyman caught up in an international crime conspiracy. The pace is again excellent, the characters engaging and the action explosive. There is enough exposition to pick this up and read as a stand-alone but I would recommend that you enjoy the trilogy in its entirety to really enjoy the story arcs of the characters, the nefarious, the innocent and all those in-between. I enjoyed this one the most of the three, a very satisfying conclusion that still went in unexpected directions and introduced themes and motives that I hadn’t anticipated, but skilfully done without detracting from the previous books. Bravo!
The 3rd in the "No More" trilogy and I was happy to get some resolution to all the questions. There was lots of action and intrigue and as with the first 2, it was a great read and hard to put down. To be honest, it had been a couple months since I read #2 and it took me a bit to get the characters straight in my head again. I spent a good bit of time pausing to think about who someone was and what their role in everything was!
Many thanks to TBC Reviewer group for a copy of this book
I am as tired of this situation as much as the main characters are. They should be just left alone to live their lives, but the twisted criminal family just won´t let them. Time to go on the offense! James decides to hunt them down and in the process, exposes secrets even more horrifying than imagined. Great 3rd volume and conclusion to the series! (Read all 3 in order, please, and enjoy!)
I received a copy of this book from The Book Club Reviewers Request- Thank you
This is the third book in the trilogy and a fantastic conclusion to the series. I found the character development in the book brilliant, I really liked James character and the relationships he developed between other characters in the book A brilliantly gritty read!
Corruption in police and government agencies, mafia types, cover ups, Nazi stolen art and action aplenty, what more could you ask for. A stunning conclusion to a great trilogy. James and Julia once more in hiding and trying to end the situation they find themselves in. this book could be read on its own but better for having read the preceding books. Well worth reading.
Was gripped by this final installment in the trilogy. James Blake continues to try and solve the mystery behind his wife's ordeal. Once again James takes risks and dodges danger. Would definitely recommend the "No More" trilogy.
The story continues and James continues to uncover more secrets. What happened to Julia seems even more sinister, to me. The story comes together with many twists and plot interactions.
The third book in the saga, the interaction with a powerful family continues and comes to its conclusion. Decent page turner with interesting lead character.
This, the third in this compelling series of “NO MORE” James Blake books, is a riveting read. I loved it, not least because it finally provides answers to so many unresolved questions, conspiracies and dark secrets that have desperately affected James Blake and his family over the previous two books, and which sent him, his wife Julia and newborn child into hiding in the Lake District under assumed names. Thus, anyone who has read and enjoyed the two earlier action-packed thrillers will, I know, find this one equally gripping. Owing to the many colourful characters in all these books, many of which are included again in this latest one, I did initially find myself slightly confused when a familiar name cropped up, that rang a bell from the earlier books, but I couldn’t altogether place their significance. There are many intriguing, international characters mentioned in this book, including deceased FBI Agent Jack Franks and corrupt agent Nate Craven, various members of the despicable Lando family, now run by the son, Matteo, UK Inspector Hendricks and of course the evil assassin, Wolfgang Heller, just to mention just a few, who have all appeared within the James Blake storylines. However, once I eventually had them and their correct importance to the trilogy clearer in my mind, this novel soon revealed itself to be yet another masterfully written page-turner. The author’s unique writing style of short chapters and tight sentences keeps one constantly on the edge as the story gradually unfolds. As I expected, the complex storyline is full of stimulating twists and turns. It touches on so many criminal things such as drug smuggling cartels and art theft as well as some fascinating early Nazi history, involving again some quite horrific situations for James to deal with.
Set mostly in London, and Italy, it also takes us with James’s investigative journalist brother, Miles, to Germany and Mexico with some equally evocatively described locations, involving yet more excitement and enthralling non-stop action. All of which culminates in reaching a seriously gripping and hugely satisfying ending. Seb Kirby fans will not be disappointed. I award it 5 stars.
This is the third and probably final book in Seb Kirby's 'No More' trilogy. Protagonist James Blake and his wife, Julia (plus their tiny baby) are separated while James, goes to Italy and Germany. As in the 2 previous books, James is hot on the trail of the nefarious Lando family and their heinous crimes. The story is far reaching and covers art, mythology, drugs, FBI black ops and towards the end, Blake learns about an ancient sect within the Nazi party.
Seb Kirby has many ‘balls in the air’ with this story, and towards the mid to end of the book the excitement and tension builds. The reader has to pay close attention to detail, location and the many characters; otherwise vital clues will be lost. But Seb does touch on the first two novels to refresh the readers’ memory to help things along and everything comes nicely together.
This novel of Seb’s is very good – a thriller in every sense, with plenty of action and tension spread throughout. Once you’ve read a couple of chapters there’s no doubt you’ll want to know what comes next. A page turner in every sense of the word and an exhilarating ride!
Another great read from Seb Kirby, Forgive no more, the third and last book in this trilogy, there is mystery and twists all the way through the story. James Blake and his wife Julie with their baby son, are still in danger. So James has to leave his family behind to find the truth about many people, the Lando's family secrets, his brother Miles Blake who is a journalist, is in another part of the world, trying to locate different people, to get the story of why the FBI agents are trying to cause trouble for him and his family. and needs to get to the bottom of agent Craven, involvement with drugs and the Lando's, both the brothers get themselves in some tight spots, and have to careful no one knows what they are doing. as they don't trust anyone. This is one great story, couldn't put down.
This is the final book in Seb Kirby's 'No More' trilogy and it's as internationally wide-ranging and exciting as the previous two. James and Julia Blake and their three week old baby are separated while James, in Italy and Germany and his brother Miles in South America, follow the Lando family's fortunes. This is a huge story arc touching on drugs, art and mythology.
Seb Kirby manages to keep the excitement cranked up in so many locations and on so many levels. Because of the scope of this book, the only problem I had was remembering who was who though that could well be down to my age. If you love a good thriller with plenty of action and intrigue, this is the series for you.
As the third book in the series, there was a lot of background to fill in at the beginning, but once the story got going, it soon picked up pace and was a cracking read! All together an excellent trilogy.
