While graduating from Delhi University, I fell in love with the books. After being an avid reader and dairy writer for years. I nurtured my dream to be a writer but lacked the courage to sacrifice my career as an H.R. professional to pursue it full time. While I was battling this dilemma, my father and mother were diagnosed with cancer, which was metastasized. At last, clarity was stuck, and I realized I have a story to tell.

This is my first time reading a memoir. I had never in my life thought I could be reading someone’s reality and feel them as I incurred them.

I was able to relate to certain aspects due to my experiences of bad health, but I've certainly realized that we would be lucky to even have a normal life. Therefore amongst the many quotes in book, one that sticks with me is indeed, “To live a normal life, we must get favorable circumstances”.

Another aspect that I keep pondering over is how the author focused on taking our lives for granted. He brings up various moments which leads to this thinking.

Apart from that, the writing style the author chose is perfect for a memoir. The raw format hits you right, creating impact. It’s a book you’d want to read in one go and will probably read in one go because of its straightforward penmanship.
