History is written by the victors; the tale of Dracula was the story Abraham Van Helsing wanted to be told.
In 1896, Abraham Van Helsing commissioned a tale covering up the murder of Transylvanian Prince Vlad Lupescu by Van Helsing and his accomplices. Here is the story of Prince Vlad's death at the hands of the unscrupulous Van Helsing and the Romanian secret society of priestesses, the Voal Negru, who call upon dark magic to return Prince Vlad from the grave to avenge himself upon his murderers.
Jack O'Rourke, a disgraced cavalry officer haunted by the ghost of a fallen soldier, is hired to protect the widowed Mina Harker on her passage across the Atlantic Ocean. The assignment embroils Jack in a world of treacherous secrets, supernatural horrors, and ancient religions.
As Prince Vlad's victims mount, Jack's journey takes him from the dark waters of the Atlantic and rain-soaked streets of London to the ancient fortresses of Romania. Seeking redemption for his dark past, Jack must decide whether to abandon the widow's cause or stand alone against the Voal Negru and the undead prince in their quest for revenge.

Title: The Seven Deaths of Prince Vlad Author: Jack Finn Genre: Dark Fantasy/ Horror Pages: 308 Format 📱 4.5⭐️
Released February 22, 2023
An interesting spin on a historic fiction tale.
The Seven Deaths of Prince Vlad is a dark, imaginative reworking that flips the familiar Dracula narrative on its head.
Rather than casting Van Helsing as the hero, Finn paints him as a conspirator in the murder of Transylvanian Prince Vlad Lupescu, whose resurrection sets off the tale of vengeance, mysticism, and supernatural intrigue.
🧛 What stands out:
• The world-building is exceptional, blending historical fiction with horror and fantasy. The secret society of priestesses, Voal Negru, and their dark rites add depth and originality to this story!
• The pacing is fast, and the prose is entertaining.
I think if you’re a fan of gothic horror and historical fantasy you’ll enjoy this story

For those of you who are Vlad fans, this is a completely new look at his life. Perhaps more accurate than others, but a wonderful story of intrigue, A thriller set in Vlad the Prince's homeland, with oil companies and ancient sects , mystery and romance abounding. This is an awesome story. Well worth reading.
I loved the book and the (real) Vlad. Been a fan of all the old Draculas over the years. Very refreshing and impeccably written, a prose I encourage all to read. Manon Date
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had a ton of great character development; I will miss each character now that the book is done. The plot is wildly intriguing, the true story of Dracula, I mean come on.
The story reads at a good pace, however the only letdown for me was that once the actual plot reveals itself it’s a slow downhill ride for about the last 35% of the book, and I found myself struggling to keep the pages turning even though we were at the climax.
