But there’s so much we still have to do: win the war, get Ryker’s dragon back, and heal our friend Taylor from the damage the vampires inflicted. When the Dorian fail to kidnap me again, Ryker comes up with a plan: a fourth mate—a fake one. Only, the male Ryker proposes adding to the pod to dissuade our enemy from taking me is one I’ve wanted all along. Axel and Harrison agree the newcomer would make a great real mate. But our grumpy dragon vetoes the idea. Tragedy hits when the ultimate sacrifice is taken to get the rest of the fae silver out of Ryker. Now we’re broken, and I don’t know where we go from here.
Ellie Pond is an author of Paranormal Romance. Ellie’s had many professions, including costume designer, contract archeologist, organic farmer, fabric store owner, and airline gate agent. She’s happy to be a full-time writer now. She lives in New England with her three teenage sons, husband, and father. It’s a lot of testosterone. To combat all the Axe body spray in the house, Ellie likes to travel. You can follow her on social media for her travel adventures, when we can do that kind of thing again.
Well, squid guts are now hitting the fan. In story #3, Melody is still her self-centered, eye-rolling, mermaid self. I don’t blame her. She is a mermaid after all and can’t help herself or her flawed logic. She is working on podmate #4 (… and #5?) while trying to stay out of the Dorian’s grasp. The whole marriage by committee dynamic Melody has with her podmates is starting to feel like an episode of Hoarders. I found some of the intimate scenes a bit cluttered. Keeping track of everybody’s feelings, thoughts and moods was a bit exhausting. Still, I love her and her chivalrous, devoted, beautiful husbands.
Melody and her pod are still in danger. Ryker has been doing his darnedest to keep them all safely away from the Dorian’s. At times, he seems to be the only adult in the room but his inability to play well with others gets everybody in a lot of trouble… and then came the cliffhanger. I really want to know how this bunch get themselves out of the pickle they are in.
Love the story so far. Can’t wait for the final installment.

We're still in the thick of it in book 3, Melody still remains our eye rolling, a bit flawed mermaid. They're still trying to get out of the Dorian's hands, and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. I love her husbands, they're loyal and truly all great and different matches for her. This is probably one of the most unique series I've read, between the FMC being a mermaid, and the different creatures we meet. I usually don't have a favorite in the guys but Ryker may top pick. For whatever reason I tend to like the guys that take forever to admit feelings and be okay with the FMC.
I am truly excited for the final book, it's going to be amazing I can feel it. WIth everything needing to come together and make it all work. It's going to be a doozy!.

The plot of the book moves along, slowly. It allows other things to pop up making the main characters split off in a different direction. They have to put out mini fires along the way before they can solve they can get back on track. Again, as per my other reviews in the first n second book, this book also leaves out main things happening in front of them that they talk about afterward and it makes it confusing, making me re read a few pages before to see if I missed anything. I’m so glad that Ryker came to his senses and decided to join the pod even if it was done under unpleasant circumstances. (Trying to escape a crazy cursed grandmother of his mate). It brought them together before Ryker decided he knew what was best and forced his Pod to get his dragon back. Even knowing how crazy the witch was, he still went to her, still allowed her to bite him and also taking her potion. The worst of it was when they had a plan to clean his blood through a new potential mate (don’t want to give away more spoilers), he still went ahead and took the 2nd potion that he was warned against several times. His prediction of what could happen came true, he may have gotten back what he lost, but what he lost came at a cost he could never get back. I wonder if it was worth it. He may have lost them, but he never thought about what might happen to them. It drives me nuts to think how he bossed them all around so much in these last 3 books, but he didn’t take his own advice and listened to those who knew him best. I read a few reviews of this series before reading them, and lots of them mentioned how they mixed science with magic but honestly, they never once thought to go to a hospital and do blood tests. U would have thought they would have done that and learned he still had iron in his blood. They could have avoided so much heart ache if they allowed the actual Doctor in the group to do his thing. Using the education that’s been talked about. So, there was definetly a few spots that bothered me in a way that it just didn’t make sense to me, and the whole part where Ellie describes everything in great detail but leaves out certain parts that make the chapters flow smoothly and naturally. Which is why I rated it 4 stars. The plot is really good, it kept my interest even if it was slow. There’s a lot of emotional angst in this book as well as the first 2. I loved how we got to see more of Taylor’s point of view, now that they rescued him from the Vampires. It about broke me to read how one of the grandmothers was murdered when we got to learn more about her and how much she loved her grandson. I am really hoping they get there happily ever after. I think in order for me to truly appreciate the next book, the ending must include getting the matebond back, and her being the first to be pregnant with a dragonlette. There wasn’t much to celebrate in this book as they fended off attacks from all sides so I need some balance to offset the bad. I’m off to read the last book!
Ellie Pond’s third book in her ‘Enchanted Elements’ series has the readers enchanted by this latest novel. This storyline picks up right where the second left off with Taylor trying to get his life back together after involuntarily being a Chosen, or a blood donor for a vampire coven. Melody wants Taylor to be part of their pod but Ryker thinks he’s too weak and traumatized to fit in. Meanwhile Ryker has lost his dragon due to an abundance of silver poisoning by Melody’s grandmother. The Dorian’s are constantly trying to kidnap Melody which makes it too dangerous for Harrison and Axel to attend their own college graduation. As you can tell this story is loaded with exciting adventure, suspense and spicy steam. What I loved the most was the author took characters from her book ‘My Not So Funny Valentine’, and incorporated them into this book, which answered some questions for me about a previous character. This book was so riveting that I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
Mermaid Melody and the gang remain in danger despite all of Ryker’s efforts to keep them from the clutches of the Dorians. Taylor remains very messed up from his time with the vampires and what they did to him. The silver or the mineral, or the Fae, one of those things made Ryker’s dragon go dormant and stay that way. Ryker still needs to get his dragon back. Does he have a plan they can try? Will a fake mate be the answer?
There are so many things going on here! When a witch finally drained most of the silver out of Ryker, they couldn’t get it all out. She told them a vampire could purify his blood and drain the silver out of him. Was Ryker willing to let Graham drain him? Would it work... or not?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ryker has lost his dragon and the solution only leads to more trouble for them. The witch manages to break the bond between Ryker and Melody but will it stay that way. Taylor plays the false fourth mate but proves he is recovering from the vampires. The Dorian are still trying to capture Melody. Ryker's grandmother is killed protecting Melody. I think there maybe be a battle brewing in the vampire stronghold as well. I eagerly look forward to the next book to find out what happens.
Melody and her guys just can not catch a break. The characters are strong together but some things are falling apart quickly. Entertaining situations, danger, the Dorian, Ryker in severe trouble, steam, vampires may do the right thing or not, another husband possible and much more, will keep you on the edge of your seat. They have so much to get through and the author has you right there with them. Totally enjoyed this series so far and can not wait to read the last book.

After leaving the rock and rescuing Taylor they thought everything settled down with the Dorian's but it turned out that was not the case. When Ryker still can't find his dragon he has to take measures into the hands of a witch friend. But things don't go as planned and it feels like everything is being ripped apart.

This was such a treat! After the Rugged Rock, I was nervous that this was going to fall flat, too, and I was wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamic between the pod and liked the twists and turns of this one. That said, I think there could have been more to develop Taylor and his backstory. That felt too rushed for me. Overall, I really enjoyed this one and am very excited to see what happens with some of our new characters.
Another wonderful book in this series. Melody is just as fun as ever, living as well as she can in Boston as a mermaid. Her men are keeping her protected from the Dorian who are still after her. A great book, definitely read the 1st two books.

I didn’t know what to expect in this third installment in the Enchanted Elements series, but, it delivered. I did expect more growth from Melody and her pod, but I feel it’s coming in the final installment. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Oh my goodness! Western winds had me completely entranced with all of its adventure and drama. I am also heart broken at what happens to the Pod. I'm just so wrecked!!.

Melody and her pod's adventures continue in this continuation of the Enchanted Elements series. They are facing trial and tribulations. I love Melody's pod and how caring and protective they are. The ending left my heart breaking for Melody and her pod.
I really have been enjoying the enchanted elements series, I always look forward to more in this universe. This book was another strong entry in this universe. The characters were great and I was hooked.

This book, for me, was emotional. With Ryker losing his dragon, Taylor not feeling good enough, and the loss at the end I found few happy spots in this one. Now, onto the next one and hoping for a happy ever after.
First, my heart broke for Taylor the entire book, and then that ending just had to rip out my heart and stomp it into the ground. My goodness. I really hope Melody and the guys get a happily ever after soon!
But at what cost? A jealous witch, the desperate Dorian, Nana, a damaged Tyler, and new players on the scene. So much love and so much conniving! This latest book ends on a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next.
Dammit, Ellie Pond! I loved this book so much, even though it broke my heart. How do you craft suck wonderful characters? Y’know what? I don't care, as long as you keep them coming.
I really enjoyed reading this book as much as the previous two and highly recommend that you do as well. Looking forward to reading the next in this series.
