Zondra, as promised here’s my review.
This was recommended to me on TikTok. Against the author’s advice, I decided to read this smoking hot gem on a cross-country flight. I kept my kindle turned away from my seat passenger!! I mean omg!! My brain melted while reading this.
Charlotte is a spit-fire and I want to be friends with her. The scene with Ravien and at the dinner party are my favorites. The chemistry and loyalty and just the primal instinct of “MINE!!!”
I want to know more about the tattoos and some more backstory and character building on all of them.

Here I go again, thinking with my horny brain! Because... umm, new kink unlocked!? You know, I've never sought out books with this kink. It just never seemed like something I'd enjoy. And I never even came across it -accidentally- from all the books I've read in the past. But holy god, DAYUM, I found it in this one! Boy, let me tell you. New. Kink. Unlocked! Forgive me, father, for I have SINNED. Do pass go! Do collect $200! Raivan watching them was probably the hottest scene in the whole book. There were A LOT of damn good spicy scenes, so that's saying something! 🥵🥵🥵 Exhibitionist books, where have you been all my life?? I welcome you to my horny brain!

Main characters that TALK to each other! Main characters that stick together! That's my perfect book right there. And the plot! We got a plot, people! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I need to know what happens next! Furthermore, I fell in love with more than just the MCs. Raivan, Dr. Irvine, Gemini, even Brock. I fully expect all of them to get their own books. Spoilers ahead!
If I could give this a 4.5, I totally would! This was a fantastic read with fantastic writing from the author. I LOVED Nicholi and Charlotte’s connection, it was absolutely intoxicating from the moment their eyes locked and they knew they were fated to be each others mates. Ugh. So good.
The only thing that stops me from giving it a 5 is a few grammatical errors, but it left me with some questions, not really understanding how the mating bond quite worked, why Nicholi died and then gained Charlotte’s power too, despite being an angel, and why Charlotte gained vampire abilities too. That was a little bit of a confusing read, but maybe I just didn’t understand it properly - maybe it was just a power transfer, but why did it kill him? And I never thought I’d say this in my life, but there was maybe a bit too much smut. And I looove me some smut.
Anyway, this was a great read and I can’t wait for the next book! Ending may have ended on a cliffhanger but it’s made me desperate for the next book, the ending was so good!!

unexpected
To say I am pleasantly surprised by this story is an understatement. While supernatural books aren’t always my go to, I found myself unable to stop reading this story until it was done. It moved along at a good pace, while covering a lot of ground. The discovery of Charlotte being more than she knew was done a bit at a time, until we were able to see who she is. The dynamic between her and her Vampire King is all things we want in a spicy story. I am excited to see where this series goes from here!

I saw this book recommended in a Facebook group and it’s the best one I’ve found so far. I will say that it would benefit from some editing. There are a few mistakes or awkwardly worded phrases that stood out (“heaved heavily” was the one I can’t forget) but the spice level had me caring less and less throughout. I didn’t think supernatural romance was necessarily what I was looking for so I was fine with the build up to some dramatic scenes being kind of quick. I am even more excited for the second one to come out! Overall a 4.5. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

The beginning of this book started out awesome, had high hopes. Then it just fell really short in my opinion. I usually never give anything lower than 4 stars but it was just not it for me.

Im a reader who’s easy to please, if I don’t like a book that’s a me problem, definitely not the authors problem. That being said I really enjoyed this book, love that the couple this book focuses on are two different supernatural creatures. The female main character, Charlotte, has no idea she’s a supernatural at first, only after she meets Nicholi, the vampire king & her mate, does she start to realize she’s not a simple human. When it’s revealed what Charlotte actually is, her abilities made a lot of sense & I think it’s an interesting concept to pair a supernatural like her with a vampire. This book ends on a cliffhanger meaning the this book is only the start of the plot & I feel the author did a good job setting the scene for the rest of the series. I’ll definitely be reading the next book so I can see how the plot plays out. I love the playful banter between Nicholi, Charlotte & Nicholi’s best friend/ right hand man Raivan. On to the spice, there’s a lot of it & it’s 🔥, 5/5 for spice.

Look. I am a stubborn person. Once I start a book, I have to finish it, even if I don't like it. It was a massive struggle to finish this book. It read like a bad fan fiction. At one point, he asks her if she could ever love a monster and she says she doesn't know and then two pages later they're just...totally cool and banging each other? HE LITERALLY MURDERED AN INNOCENT WOMAN IN FRONT OF HER and she's like, teehee, I'm fine with that. Also, the giggling. THE GIGGLING. Charlotte giggled so much and it just...oof. I'd like to say there was anything about it that I liked but there wasn't. The sex scenes were okay, I guess, but she used the word 'moist' at one point and that always makes me shudder. So, yeah, this book I guess helped me get closer to my book reading goal for the year but I'm not glad I read it.

Look, I know smut serves a few purposes that are shallow to exaggerate the sexual content, but this?? It barely reads as more than porn, the story doesn't make sense, literally after meeting she puts up one??? Fight and then she's like welp I'm good I love him no questions asked and to be honest the sex was all the same anyway

I would give this book 3.5 stars, buuut I always round up for goodreads since they don't allow half stars.
This books is independently published, I heard about it through a facebook group I'm in. They promised some crazy spice and the book definitely delivered. It's not the usual book I would go for, I love spice but I more so love the build up and even a spicy book has to have a good plot to keep you interested. The author warns on the warning page that the book is very fast paced and it definitely was, which unfortunately harmed the character development a little.. It would have been nice to see the relationship and things progress even a fraction slower than they did, but at least the plot was kept interesting with a little bit of mystery and potential danger. The spice was HELLA spicy, definitely worth reading for that alone. This book is practically all smut, which is the promise given to us so we can't fault it for that.
With this being independently published there was no editor to overlook the material with new, fresh eyes and I feel like the book suffered quite a bit because of that. There was more than a handful of spelling mistakes and grammar errors throughout the book. Most of which I can ignore but there is a part in the book where the instead of it saying "Nicholi" it said "Nicholas" which i know is pretty damn close but come on! It made me do a second take and I went back through some of the story to make sure I hadn't been reading his name wrong the entire time. If you can't handle spelling/grammar errors then I'd say this book might not be for you.
I did thoroughly enjoy the book though and I'm even looking forward to the next one, which is not available yet and I'm actually sad that it's not, hopefully it's released sometime this year! Honestly felt like half a book. I get there’s going to be a sequel with Raivans POV/story and that books end with cliffys etc but just felt half arsed and unfinished.
And good Lord the ROARING. I’m all for the occasional roar/screaming but this was 👏🏼too👏🏼damn👏🏼much👏🏼

Some not great grammar (but was only a couple of things so not too bad) and one part that annoyed me was “juices tuning down her thighs” but she was on her back with her legs bent at the knee so htf is her juice defying gravity? I’m being picky I know but I’m just disappointed 😂

I got myself motion sick trying to read this book in the car. It was a compulsion I couldn't resist. Charlotte is such a bamf woman, and I want to be her when I grow up. Nicholi? Yum. Their story is full of obstacles and challenges, which they overcome together as a team. I'm all for the equal partner aspect of their relationship.
Honestly, there were ZERO things i disliked about this story. I thought it flowed excellently. There was great character development. The plot was simple but intriguing, and spice was great! Secondary characters were also enjoyable (I'm looking at you, Raivan!). I'm very much looking forward to the next book(s) in this series.

Great read if you can get past the random plot holes
Super spicy, straight forward read that was hard to put down. The story itself is not original by any means and will constantly remind you of more popular books, but it was entertaining none the less. Can't wait to read the next in the series! Though the story was entertaining, there are 2 things that occasionally distracted me: 1. Editing errors that continued to increase the closer you get to finishing the book, and 2. There are two specific plot holes that are mentioned about Nicholi not understanding basic human customs despite living in Las Vegas amongst humans and being a well known business man??

Fast pacing book that I devoured!
When fated mates are introduced, I want an insta love and this book delivered. It got me out of a reading slump, and allso probably gave me a new k¡nk 😅 (the scene in the office). I read it in one afternoon and mind you ,I am rather slow at reading 😅.
If you want something fast pacing, filled with vampires, fated mates and all sorts of hot, this is a book for you!

I loved this book!! Absolutely devoured it(pun intended lol), the character development was great, the story line and arc of character growth was great. The smut!!! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I can’t wait for the next book. I would absolutely recommend this book for lovers of a great story and a good amount of smut that pulls you in to read more. Nothing better than vampires werewolves and a surprise plot twist to keep you hooked!!

I liked the story. I liked the characters but there were a lot of parts that just didn’t work for me. I love vampire books and this was really good, I just got irritated with some of the typos and some things that almost seemed super unbelievable. Definitely will read the next book, but not in a huge rush.

I enjoyed most of this book however I was slightly peeved about coming to find that our main couple will have another book for their HEA in book 4 but the next book isn’t about their story. I personally just dislike not having the complete follow through for a couple before moving to another.

This was a fast read, mostly because it lacked a lot of plot detail. I found there were major gaps in plot.
But if you want some decently written vampire smut, this book will give it to you!
The plot line didn’t really make much sense, but the seX scenes were pretty good. (And very frequent, pretty much every chapter lol)

a good read
I enjoyed this more that I thought I would. 3~4/5 🌟🌶 for steam. The h was for the most part relatable and the H was yummy. It started strong and moved at a fast pace which kept me engaged.
However it moved so fast what at times the plot suffered and character development was extremely shallow. Would of benefited by slowing down a tad and providing more as it felt I missed something. World building was pretty nonexistent which was a bummer.

This book was everything I was looking for! Straight to the point without useless crap, a plot with an end I didn't see coming, the most amazing smut ever and a MMC who has a filthy dirty mouth 🥵 So good! I binged it in one sitting!

So good! Great amount a spice, like super spicy! The bond and love between Nicholi and charlotte is intense. I couldn't put this book down. Full of vampire smexy stuff and a good plot. I can't wait for book 2 to be released! What a cliff hanger at the end of this book!

I enjoyed this book. I came across this one because she responded to a comment I made on a bookish Facebook page; I'm a sucker for some personal interaction by the author! I don't enjoy reading a book that is all spice, but no story. This had a nice combination of both. And the cliffhanger! 🤍
